    Bev's Martini. Smooth.

We really liked Beverley's. We sat at the bar and we're served quickly. They have a great cocktail and martini menu, and the bartender was quite friendly and helpful. The wedge salad is fantastic, and they will chop it for you. We tried both the salmon and the crab cake and each was delicious. The vibe there is great, with a nice music track in the background that included an occasional Christmas tune. By the time we left it was quite crowded, so I highly suggest a reservation (Resy).

Beverly's located in uptown Dallas is an upscale bistro near the Katy trail. Any night of the week you will find this place lively and busy. Known for its American fare menu with Jewish inspired dish options. Everything we had was really delicious. We started off with salmon latkes and a baked lobster dip served with baguettes. Got an order of the ceaser salad and scallops. The scallops were served in a potato puree and Gaelic spinach. Absolutely delicious and if you are looking for something that isn't a meat option you can't go wrong here. The device was great we just sat at the bar and really loved the vibe and atmosphere of the place.

this place was a 11/10!!!! the food has restored my belief in yummy restaurants again after trying a few mediocre ones! I loved everything I got the latkes, the lobster dip (where do you ever wish you had less lobster because there's so much? this is one of those moments it's loaded but so amazing still), and the artichokes! those were fried and topped to perfection with lemon and parm!!! I want to come here everyday and try more of the menu, so anytime I visit dallas I will 100% be back! the indoors is so cute and the patio is also adorable. the vibes here are immaculate. heads up there is valet parking so will find out shortly how much that is

Great spot for lunch or a date night! I had dinner here for the first time recently, and the food was delicious. In my opinion, the star of the show was the lamb chops. They were so tender and flavorful! We also tried the caviar & latkes and baked lobster dip, which were great as well. My only hesitation was the price which felt a bit high, but I have no complaints about the quality or taste. We dined here on a week night, and the service was great.

Cozy aesthetic restaurant with a nice patio. We only ordered appetizers, but everything was delicious and presented very well. The restaurant had very French vibes. Service was great, they were very fast and friendly.

We love it here! A perfect patio evening with lots of yummy appetizers and excellent service. Lovely outside with heaters and fans depending on weather and much quieter than dining inside! We started with drinks, two dozen oysters, and the deluxe latkes (comes with 6 - two of each). We followed up with deviled eggs, whitefish dip (ask for extra bagel chips), the crispy artichokes, and shared the burger! We finished dinner with espresso martinis (which our fabulous waitress Arden split into five small glasses so we could share) and the key lime pie.

Beverly's had a really nice little side patio which is the perfect place to take advantage of nice weather. All of the food and drinks that we had were really solid with the lobster dip being the favorite of the night. Valet is complimentary.

Beverley's is like that Sex and the City Resturant where you catch up on all the gossip with your girls, the drinks are good, the food is good, it's crowded but the ambiance is great. I got the Bevs burger and it was so go like so gourmet. To start I got meatballs and that was so tasty. Also tried the crispy artichokes which blew me by surprise Later I sat at the bar and Anthony was my server. He was so sweet and gave us some great advice on what to get. All the drinks were great and I can't wait to come back!

    Maine Scallops

The scallops were delicious!!! We sat on the patio and it was so cute with a lot of greenery.

A busy atmosphere, and kinda loud; but it's a cute place We tried calling to make a reservation, but nobody answered, and the App they use for reservations didn't work either. Walk in resulted in a 20 minute wait (not too bad), and there was no room at the bar to wait. The staff was pretty cool (Ginger served us), and the service was fast. Signature Gin & Tonic Very refreshing, with an interesting flavor. Every time you take a sip, the rosemary hits your nasal passages and the change from that to the citric flavors in the Gin & Tonic make each sip a little adventure. Tuna Crudo Fresh dish, very nice in the summer...refreshing. A bit sour, but not in a bad way. I couldn't tell what the tomitio sauce was made of, but it was an interesting flavor. I kinda wish I'd ordered the oysters. French Onion Soup Heavy on the croutons and light on the onions. This is a ok French Onion Soup, but not the best. It's a bit bland. For a frame of reference, it's not quite as good as La Madeline's. It wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't order it again. Chicken Schnitzel Light breading with a zesty after bite. The Marsala sauce is creamy and just a little sour. This was pretty good, I'd order it again. Whipped Potatoes Creamy and delicious. I'm glad I chose to add these to my Schnitzel order. They were a perfect pairing.

Frozen Mango Margarita, Blood Orange Cosmo, Jack's Salty Dog w/tequila

Went for dinner to celebrate a flight attendant graduation. Everything was absolutely amazing! The service was the best I've experienced in a long time. The food was great, as were the cocktails. Would recommend for any occasion. It did get pretty loud after a while but it was a Friday evening during prime dinner time. 10/10 would go again.

Good food, good service, and a good time was had by all at Beverly's!! The staff were very friendly, even the valet was really nice. As for parking, because of its location valet is the only option you have unless you live nearby and want to walk, but once inside the bistro is charming and the patio is casual and laid-back. We'll definitely be returning for dinner.

Enjoying the evening with a friend

We came in near closing time, but Emilia provided us great service and stayed attentive even though they were clearly packed. We were seated at a table near the door, and unfortunately it had a vomit smell. Whatever it was, my friend could not stand it and had to get up and step away from the table. We first thought the culprit was the paper drink coasters, but then the staff removed the door mat near us later on, so maybe someone puked on it and the smell lingered, even after it was cleaned up. Clear Mizu ($16): This has Sakura vermouth and bitters, so we ordered it. It tasted like straight up gin and was not good. It was actually one of the rare times my husband could not finish his drink. Kyoto Sunset ($15): This one wasn't bad and tasted like honeydew. The ingredients include honeydew Calpico, so that makes sense. Johnny Walker Black ($16): This was our friend's drink, which I think was just coke and Johnny Walker. Nothing special about the taste either. Given the smell and so-so/terrible cocktails, we will not be coming back or taking our friends here.

At one point, our food was delivered while we were outside getting fresh air. The food was also disappointing. The scallops and chicken were extremely salty and lacked flavor, and the chicken was overcooked. When we brought it up, the server did little to address it. To top it off, we saw two large cockroaches around our table, which was especially noticeable in the dark dining room. The cocktails were the highlight, but overall, the service, food, pacing, and cleanliness did not meet expectations. One star. Very disappointing, and I'm not sure I'll be back.

The staff was very welcoming, and the other guests I encountered were friendly and sociable. The drinks were excellent. On my first visit, I had the Hugo Spritz, which was mixed to perfection. During my second visit, I tried the Bitter Lemon Soda, which was also very good--simple, refreshing, and without any overpowering flavors. I actually enjoyed The Bowen House so much that I went twice during my weekend trip to Dallas. It has an almost speakeasy-like atmosphere, with low lighting and a cozy, historic feel. It's also in a very walkable area, which made it easy to visit on foot. There is some parking available, although I would say it's somewhat limited. I don't think it would be the best spot for a very large group, but it would be perfect for a few friends getting together. I also appreciated that you can order a drink while waiting for a table or bar seating, which made the wait feel much more enjoyable. Overall, The Bowen House was one of my favorite places I visited while in Dallas. Between the atmosphere, welcoming service, and well-crafted drinks, it's definitely a place I would return to the next time I'm in town.

The hotel property is like four legs under the table - a great location, a great hotel experience, a great restaurant experience, and a entertainment experience (The Mansion Bar). At least one leg has been kicked out, one is suffering. The Mansion Bar used to have a great recipe for success - proven by how busy and regular the customers were and loyal (or was), and the top tier talent that was routine for 10+ years. Me and my friends have a relationship with the long time staff as customers as well as the excellent music talent. The cause? Not precisely sure but I think it's new ownership, at the very least a new Food & Bev manager. I also know the staff is very upset about these changes and the relationships with the repeat music talent is now a mess. I wouldn't be surprise if the staff start leaving. I'm hoping whomever is making these decisions can revert back to what was working. Dallas has a lot of great venues that will fill this void.

(I rarely post Yelp reviews so that's how bad it was) I ordered the steak frites medium-well (thinking it would probably come out well-done, as most non-steakhouses tend to do). After a long wait for our food (the restaurant didn't look that busy, but maybe a lot of to-go orders?) I received the pictured steak: I'm pretty sure I can still hear it mooing. How anyone could look at this and think this is medium-well is beyond me. I tried taking a bite, but it was so raw it was inedible to eat - I would've been chewing for ages. I brought this up to my waiter, who said he would take it back and speak to the kitchen. My group needed to leave for another event (didn't anticipate waiting nearly an hour for our food) so we simultaneously asked for our checks. The kicker? My waiter did not follow up with me on how raw the steak was and did not comp my meal/provide any kind of remedy. I wasn't looking for a free meal, but the lack of follow-through to remedy the situation was the icing on the cake (or insert some kind of raw steak pun). My cocktail (which all arrived AFTER our meals were delivered) was pretty good, thus the 2 stars. But I question why/how my steak was so raw despite me waiting 45-55 minutes for it. Overall, only come here for drinks - so long as you're okay with waiting forever & a day for them.
