Tuna carpaccio was lacking in flavor and it was served room temperature upon arrival on a hot day. Lobster pasta was lovely with ricotta cheese over it but again a salty dish. Beverley's is an absolute 10/10! The atmosphere was very lowkey yet sophisticated. Went here for dinner on my birthday as a whim, but i will definitely be back more often. The food was all so yummy and it came out pretty quickly. However, the star of the night was Trish. she was very professional but also a blast to be around. My friends and I absolutely loved her, and we will definitely be asking about her every time we go going forward. We really liked Beverley's. We sat at the bar and we're served quickly. They have a great cocktail and martini menu, and the bartender was quite friendly and helpful. The wedge salad is fantastic, and they will chop it for you. We tried both the salmon and the crab cake and each was delicious. The vibe there is great, with a nice music track in the background that included an occasional Christmas tune. Known for its American fare menu with Jewish inspired dish options. Everything we had was really delicious. We started off with salmon latkes and a baked lobster dip served with baguettes. Got an order of the ceaser salad and scallops. The scallops were served in a potato puree and Gaelic spinach. Absolutely delicious and if you are looking for something that isn't a meat option you can't go wrong here. this place was a 11/10!!!! the food has restored my belief in yummy restaurants again after trying a few mediocre ones! I loved everything I got the latkes, the lobster dip (where do you ever wish you had less lobster because there's so much? this is one of those moments it's loaded but so amazing still), and the artichokes! those were fried and topped to perfection with lemon and parm!!! We started with drinks, two dozen oysters, and the deluxe latkes (comes with 6 - two of each). Signature Gin & Tonic Very refreshing, with an interesting flavor. Every time you take a sip, the rosemary hits your nasal passages and the change from that to the citric flavors in the Gin & Tonic make each sip a little adventure. Tuna Crudo Fresh dish, very nice in the summer...refreshing. A bit sour, but not in a bad way. I couldn't tell what the tomitio sauce was made of, but it was an interesting flavor. I kinda wish I'd ordered the oysters. French Onion Soup Heavy on the croutons and light on the onions. This is a ok French Onion Soup, but not the best. It's a bit bland. For a frame of reference, it's not quite as good as La Madeline's. It wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't order it again. Chicken Schnitzel Light breading with a zesty after bite. The Marsala sauce is creamy and just a little sour. This was pretty good, I'd order it again. Whipped Potatoes Creamy and delicious. I'm glad I chose to add these to my Schnitzel order. Went for dinner to celebrate a flight attendant graduation. Everything was absolutely amazing! The service was the best I've experienced in a long time. The food was great, as were the cocktails. We drove all the way from Frisco to try Beverley's, so the great service was very much appreciated. We also loved the atmosphere! Very cool vibe with a great saxophone player. The food overall was very good, however, the latkes were definitely not good. We had the smoked salmon latkes and they were tiny, overcooked and flavorless. We had this as an appetizer and were nervous about the rest of the meal after those hockey pucks. My wife had the short rib and I had the schnitzel. They were both amazing. The potatoes were some of the best mashed potatoes I have ever had. Just amazing. The dessert with the Henry's homemade ice cream and toffee was delicious, as well. Overall, we will definitely be back. I just wish they had better latkes, because that's actually why we chose Beverley's, but no harm no foul. Came here tonight for my friends birthday. We did an early dinner to enjoy the happy hour which I think is a great deal for this more upscale place. Although on the expensive side, this was one of the best meals we have had in Dallas. The service was friendly and we enjoyed the upscale yet still unpretentious vibes of Beverley's. Maybe because I'm not from Dallas but I find the mandatory valet pretentious and ridiculous. But the valet guys were nice and welcoming. They are probably the most genuine compared to the rest of the staff. The bistro had a beautiful atmosphere but surprisingly I did not like food from here despite the place being one of the top spots in Dallas. I got the shakshuka. It's watery, bland, and so acidic. And the yogurt just makes the tomatoes more sour. Good pita though. The matzo ball soup is also under-seasoned. The chicken broth was light and I didn't taste much from the vegetables. read more
