    Corned beef hash

I have had the unfortunate privilege of ordering takeout from this place a few times now, all with terrible turnaround times for incorrectly prepared food. This most recent endeavor involved a 1 hour wait for an incredibly underwhelming corned beef hash, with soggy home fries and incorrectly prepared eggs. My hospital cafeteria does a better job than this. Better to drive down the hill and save both your time and money.

Beverly Glen Deli is a neighborhood gem. I've been coming here for more than 20 years. The servers are all soooooo nice and service is always perfect. I get the same thing every time I come... a turkey reuben! It's so damned good. Get the curly fries well done. They're amazing. My husband gets the cheese blintzes. The crepe they use is eggy and awesome. The best ones he's ever had. Plus it's a fun local crowd. You've gotta go!

So I've come tot his place for years but for various reasons have myself there more lately due to being in the area. I love the location and the fact that it still feels like an old school small diner. The service is always incredibly kind and in that neighborhood I've witness some of the patrons being less than friendly and patient and the staff always serves with a smile. The food is good. It really depends on what you order. I always pretty much get a Cobb wrap. I'm addicted to their steak fries and blue cheese dressing! That stuff is seriously good. It's both French fry dressing and salad dressing (because there is a difference). I've also had some of their sandwiches which are pretty good. Overall, it's exactly what I'd want in a small diner.

Tried this place randomly. Was quite surprised at the excellent quality of the food. Burger was delicious and i loved their Curly and waffle fries. The floor when I visited was a bit messy but in the tight quarters and the busy restaurant I don't hold it too much against them.

It's always a wonderful haven from the chaos of LA. I love to go for the Matzo Ball soup and wait out some of the traffic. Such a sweet group of people running the place.

Beverly Glen Deli in Bel Air has spacious indoor seating and plenty of free parking.

We had great food, great service, and a convenient location. The food we liked the best included sky-high turkey sandwiches, borscht soup, Greek salad, and their fabulous stuffed potato is a meal by itself. The servers were very accommodating and friendly but-not-in-your-face friendly. The convenient hideaway location has worked out for dinner meetings with our friends who live in the Valley or Beverly Hills. After several visits we highly recommend this deli.

Rich, savory, and perfect with the cream cheese. Blissful is the only word that fits. My youngest went with an everything bagel, plain, and she lit up after the first bite. Soft, squishy, exactly how she likes it. She looked at me and said, "Dad, how come you haven't brought me here before?" I told her that sometimes, for great things, you have to wait in life. Over the years I've probably ordered more sandwiches here than I can count, and lately I've been making it my mission to work through their vegan menu one sandwich at a time. The thing I appreciate most is that Ike's doesn't treat vegan options like an afterthought. They have an entire lineup of creative sandwiches that all bring something different to the table. Some of my favorites so far have been the Meatless Mike, Handsome Owl, Pee-Wee, Vegan Bonnie Jill, and Vegan Mary Ashley. Every time I think I've found my favorite, another sandwich surprises me. The Sherman Oaks team is always welcoming, the food is consistently fresh, and the menu keeps me coming back. It's one of those places that's become part of my LA story. If you're vegan, start exploring the menu. You'll probably find a favorite of your own.

One of the seasonal specials is the Martha which is an upgraded version of chicken salad (Tarragon chicken salad, apples, shaved fennel, arugula, basil, lemon, garlic aioli on grilled Ciabatta, $16) which sounded pretty good. I placed the order online and headed over to this busy section of Studio City. Street parking can be tricky especially in the afternoon, and there are 'parking ticketers' out in force. This was my first time here at this location, but they had a handy takeout window at the one end, and a friendly guy handed me the bag. As for the food, I could only eat half of the sandwich; one reason is because it was a Lot of sandwich and second, I didn't really enjoy this for the most part (I did give the other half to a hungry co-worker who did like it). Then my favorite part, the cookies. I ordered two orders (two come in an order) so I had four to enjoy. The first bag was a decent sized pair of cookies, but they shafted me on the second order. This was basically one cookie cut to make two which was clearly noticeable compared to the other order. I was too far to return these but next time, it's something I will check on before leaving. I didn't have this problem the first time I came here (even though it was a different location) but as for anything, I recommend checking your order prior to leaving. Otherwise, I will be returning to Ggiata but maybe for a classic Turk or Antonia, or even the arancini side-

We grabbed two breakfast sandwiches, one with bacon and one without, and both were standout in their own way. The first thing you notice? These sandwiches come out piping hot, wrapped tight and ready to go. Crack them open and you're hit with perfectly cooked eggs and an almost ridiculous amount of gooey, melted cheese. Not skimpy, not balanced, loaded in the best possible way. The Kaiser roll deserves its own shoutout: lightly toasted with just enough crunch on the outside while staying soft and pillowy inside. It holds everything together without getting soggy, even with all that cheese. * The meat version had crispy, flavorful bacon layered just right, salty, smoky, and not overdone. * The meatless one didn't feel like a compromise at all, still rich, filling, and honestly just as indulgent thanks to the cheese and eggs. No frills, no gimmicks, just classic deli breakfast sandwiches executed really well. Bottom line: If you want a hot, cheesy, perfectly toasted breakfast sandwich that actually hits the spot, Paulie's is a win. I can't wait to go back for lunch!

I ordered a the Dom and a supremo on their website at about 1:30pm on a Friday. I wonder if it would have been quicker for me to just go in and order in person. Anyway, the wait (and 30 minutes of wandering around target to kill time) was worth it. The supremo - it's basically a slice of pepperoni cheese bread. Which is delicious. My late uncle's friend used to make us a pepperoni bread every year at Christmas and try as I might, I could never make it as good as hers. This one is closer than I've gotten! They forgot the side of Marinara for dipping, though, but it's fine because I have no chill and inhaled this thing on the drive home.
