Lenny's started as Lenny's Casita, which was a ghost kitchen with a bold vision to bring soulful Mexicali flavors into the kosher space. It has since grown into a full-service restaurant and bar, now recognized for standout food and warm, attentive hospitality across Los Angeles. Chef Lenny combines his California roots with fine-dining experience at their main location off of Pico. Their bar offerings are equally impressive, featuring handcrafted cocktails made with fresh, natural ingredients alongside a curated selection of authentic tequilas and mezcals. From tacos to tequila, everything is thoughtfully executed, and the atmosphere consistently feels welcoming. They are Glatt Kosher under OK supervision if you follow those dietary needs. They have now expanded with a smaller location now open on Ventura Blvd in Studio City, which is what this review is based on- My friend and I ordered: *Not-So-Little Crunchwrap-Your choice of protein, Spanish rice, refried pinto beans, chipotle aioli, jalapeño aioli, and salsa cruda. *Wings-(8pc) Bone-in wings with choice of Chipotle Honey or Mango Habanero sauce. *Churronuts-(3pc) Fried dough tossed in cinnamon sugar with dulce drizzle. *Frosé-Frozen cocktail with rosé, housemade strawberry puree, blended. *Limonana-Ice blended agua fresca with fresh lemon juice, sparking water, simple syrup, fresh mint For parking, since the area gets busy with nearby businesses and restaurants, it's usually easier to park in the residential neighborhood on the other side of Carpenter. I will for sure be back!

Really cute new spot on Ventura! Fairly large and customizable menu so there's something for everyone. Prices are a little high, but to be expected for a kosher place. Super cute space but it is a little small so it can get busy. iPad ordering is easy and seamless. Really friendly staff too!

Went to Studio City to check out Little Lenny's. They are a new Mexican kosher restaurant that just opened up. It is also the only kosher Mexican place I know. They have a lot of different items on their menu and I was able to try a few items. I started off with their agua fresca limonana and frose. The limonana was refreshing, tart and had hints of mint. The frose was lightly sweet with a crisp refreshing finish. Both drinks are perfect for a hot day in LA. For food I ordered the crispy potato tacos dorado, loaded fries and breakfast burrito with beef bacon. The crispy potato tacos came with 3 tacos loaded with lettuce, beans, guac, salsa and sour cream. They were fried to perfection with no traces of any oil. The potatoes were seasoned well and smooth. I liked the variety of different ingredients the dish had. The loaded fries come with your choice of meat. It had aioli, chimichurri and sumac onions on top. I am a sucker for aioli as it is bold, garlicky and aromatic. The fries were thin which is how I like my fries as well. For the breakfast burrito you can add your choice of meat. Our server recommended us to get beef bacon which I didn't see on the menu. The bacon was meaty and had a nice bite to it. The eggs in the burrito were silky smooth and filled with hash browns. The burrito comes with chipotle aioli and salsas. You can take a wild guess that I sauced my burrito up with the aioli. The service here was great. Sana and Jeremy came to check in on us frequently. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered their recommendations. Restaurant is clean and each item averaged about $15.

So excited to have Little Lenny's in the valley. The new location is so cute with amazing food! My favorite items are the corn ribs, Crunchwrap with carne asada, Limonana, and the breakfast burrito. Everything is packed with so much flavor and everything is kosher! They also have gluten free and vegan options. A great new lunch or dinner spot!

Absolutely nice place!! Good as always delusious and tasty!! Very friendly stuff and amazing service! My favorite Spot for lunch!!

Little Lenny's is so delicious , this is our second time here and we'll be back for more. Everything is very high quality and casual which is nice. The patio is surprisingly spacious as well. The corn ribs ( appetizer I think ) is my favorite and I recently had the desert donuts and we loved those as well. We brought friends and they loved it and are bringing friends to come and try next. Jeremy and Talia are also amazing and so sweet and attentive.

I had such a great experience at Lil Lenny! The concept of Mexican glass kosher-style cuisine is so unique, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The drinks were creative and really well made, and the food quality was outstanding. What truly made the experience stand out was the amazing service--attentive, friendly, and welcoming from start to finish. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to! Nice ambiance

Food was delicious. We got our food pretty fast. Staff was really friendly. Would totally recommend coming.

Service was great. Something was off with the cauliflower dish but overall I would recommend this place for a fast but fresh kosher taco and burger joint. It reminds me a little of OG Lenny Casitas (iykyk), all the fan favorites from back in the day and a little more. The servers were exceptionally attentive. Fun vibes. Parking available on the back, was a plus! D

On their menu they identify allergens but to be on the safe side, I would say to call.

We later learned this is just how they kick things off, which is a nice idea, but a quick "grab a drink while we get your table set" would make it feel a lot more intentional. After that the night was great. Our waitress was wonderful, the rib eye was cooked perfectly, the peppers and bread were both excellent, and the DDL dessert is a must. Only miss was the squash blossoms with prawn cake, not really our thing. We mentioned it casually to our waitress and my husband told her not to take it off the check. She did it anyway. That kind of thoughtfulness goes a long way. Beautiful space, will definitely be back. Cocktails and wine were also great!

Asked the bartender how their day was, first thing out of their mouth was "bad" and she was really busy, so we just sat and waited in the empty "lounge". Once at our table, it took another 5 minutes for the waiter to come by. The food was alright but not spectacular, the ribeye and potatoes were cold. We had our apps before our drinks arrived and felt rushed to finish even though we wanted to enjoy a drink with it. The worst part was after dinner we sat at an empty table for 15 minutes (no exaggeration) waiting for someone to refill our drinks and tell us the desert menu. There were 3 people who were supposed to be supervising the tables, watching our waiter cater to half the restaurant, with the whole staff walking by our empty table not doing anything. It's sad they kept mentioning "the experience", but it was a bad one.

We both had the ribeye steak, Sheri had to Costillo and I had the Gaucho. We both loved our steak as they were both tender and flavorful. For the Gaucho, I really enjoyed the Anaheim pepper and other accoutrements and we'll get this the next time as well. The meal includes two sides. We both had mashed potatoes and I had a salad and she had asparagus. We had a server in training who was very attentive as well as the supervising server. We sat in the patio, which was nice. There was plenty of room very nice ambience. Relatively easy street parking. It was a nice visit for both of us. We will be back for sure.

The very first thing our server asked wasn't what we wanted to drink or if we'd ever been there before--it was, "Are you guys here to watch the game?" We immediately told him, "No, we're here for the food." Looking back, that should've been the first warning sign. They brought out fresh bread with chimichurri, and honestly, it was delicious. It got us excited because we thought- maybe this place really did deserve the hype. That excitement lasted about five minutes. We asked our server what everyone comes here for, and without hesitation he said the skirt steak. Since we wanted to try their specialty- meats, we ordered the Plato Mixto, one of their premium platters. It came with skirt steak, New York steak, Argentine "Italian" sausage, half a chicken, and sweetbreads. It's already one of the most expensive items on the menu, yet they still upcharge an extra $4 per side, if you want one of the "premium" sides. At that price, you'd expect everything to be included and quality to be exceptional. For the sides, we chose the grilled veggies, which the server said included eggplant, zucchini, tomato, onions, mushrooms - basic veggie mix and LALAs Potatoes, described as "Mashed Potatoes & Carrots." We figured that meant mashed potatoes served with carrots, or maybe mashed potatoes with pieces of carrot mixed in. Instead, it was one orange puree--mashed potatoes blended together with carrots. No flavor. If that's what you're serving, just describe it that way. The menu there was very misleading. Then came the sweetbreads. We had to ask our server twice what they actually were because he couldn't explain it clearly. Eventually he described them as "lymph nodes." Whether that's technically accurate or not, that's probably not what anyone expects to hear after taking a bite. Then we actually started eating. The Argentine sausage had a strange, almost spoiled flavor. When we mentioned it, instead of acknowledging our concern, our server doubled down and told us it was supposed to taste "rancid." I've eaten authentic Argentine food before. This wasn't it. It tasted like bad meat. The steaks were no better. We ordered medium rare, but the skirt steak was practically purple raw in the middle. Beyond that, both steaks were unbelievably tough. Every bite was a workout. For a restaurant that's supposed to specialize in grilled meats, that's inexcusable. Very low quality red meat. The chicken didn't save the meal either. I've had incredible pollo a la brasa and grilled chicken from plenty of places. This wasn't even close. It was bland, dry, and completely forgettable. When our server came back and asked how everything was, we were honest. We told him we really weren't enjoying the food. Instead of apologizing, offering another option, or trying to make things right, he doubled down again. "That's my favorite thing on the menu." Okay...and? Then he told us to squeeze a bunch of lemon over everything and brought us what felt like half a bottle of Tabasco. Think about that for a second. If the solution to your signature meats is to drown them in lemon and hot sauce just to make them edible, that's not a customer problem--that's a kitchen problem. By that point, it all clicked. The first thing he cared about was whether we were there to watch the game. We told him we came for the food, but the entire experience felt like the food was an afterthought. The service wasn't interested in listening to our concerns, only defending them. This place may be great if you're looking for drinks, sports on TV, and somewhere to hang out. But if you're coming because you've heard this is the place for authentic Argentine meats, prepare to be disappointed. The meats were tough. The sausage tasted off. The menu descriptions were misleading. The service felt more like a used car salesman trying to convince us our experience was wrong than someone who genuinely cared whether we enjoyed our meal. I don't write reviews to tear places down. I write them to help other people spend their money wisely. In this case...save yours. There's far better places to try authentic Argentine cuisine, this is not it, would not return.
