Seated in sunny Studio City, this cozy spot is a nice walk away from some delicious Italian cuisine. Starting with the positives, I loved their bread basket appetizer that came with olive oil, balsamic vinegar and a (very tasty) basil aioli. Their bread was a nice light and fluffy appearance with very nice acids and fats to compliment it. I ordered a panini which came with a beautifully plated sandwich (picture was me sitting a slice up) and while the inside was delicious, I wound up abandoning the bread since it tasted like I was eating a pretty dry cracker. My thought is that it could have just been overpressed/over done slightly. The pasta my partner had was overcooked, but the cheese+mushrooms were delicious overall. I'm very certain this place deserves a second chance, and I'll be looking to come back to try their very yummy sounding desserts. Cheers!

The service was excellent, Although they were busy, many staff were available to help and we were seated immediately by Ryan. I think he was the manager? The ambiance is cute, you can sit either inside or outside. When the good arrived we were impressed how good it tasted. Well presented we ordered: Bruschetta, Fettuccini Alfredo with marinara sauce, Pasta Milano, and chicken prosciutto panini. Again the service was excellent. They were all very attentive too our need and requests. Give it a try you will not be disappointed.

My wife had a late dinner craving for Italian sandwiches. Thanks to Yelp, we found the perfect spot! We arrived 40 minutes before closing so only patio seating was available. I know it can be inconvenient for servers when people come in before closing, so I anticipated a 'quick' service. However, we didn't feel rushed and the service was great. Shout out to our server, Kelsey. She was also very hospitable to a tourist family that was seated next to us who asked her questions about where to visit in LA. We had the Penne Milano and the Salerno panini. Both dishes were flavorful and satisfied our Italian cravings. The food, great service, and ambiance made us expectant to try their other dishes!

One of my favorite spots in Studio City! The sandwiches are absolutely delicious--fresh ingredients, perfectly toasted bread, and amazing flavor combinations. Their soups are also comforting and flavorful, perfect for any day. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the outdoor patio seating is such a nice touch--great vibe for relaxing and enjoying your meal. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a casual yet quality bite!

I actually really like this spot the paninis always hit the spot and the portions are huge I always get half with half salad. The seating is nice on Ventura. I enjoy their spicy aioli its very good. The bread has a nice crunch and flavor. Employees are nice service is good but can be slow it took quite a long time to get the food and check but I would for sure come back

Il Tram has some of the best sandwiches in Los Angeles! It's definitely been my go to spot when I'm craving a delicious panini. Lorenzo was the absolute best and gave us all his favorite recommendations. Our go to paninis are the grilled chicken and firenze, but today we also tried salads and we were really happy with the variety of salad options to choose from. You can never go wrong with the avocado toast here, it's a must side order for us no matter what we get. If you've never been here, you're missing out. Absolutely must try the grilled chicken panini, and the Firenze panini if you like a little heat.

okay, just so y'all know, this is a 1st for me. 2 soups in 2 days & the kind I don't really eat. well, yesterday was tomato basil, which I have with grilled cheese. today is split pea soup. never liked it because of the Exorcist, but im a grown ass man now & my co-worker said it was delish & he was correct-amundo...! plus, it's still kinda cool with this LA rain we've had the past few days. anywhoo, let me get to it before my lunch is over. rest well my frenz & happy new year

I'm always on the lookout for a great sandwich. Il Tram does not disappoint. First, their house-made tomato bisque was liquid comfort. I also ordered the Rovente Panini. It was so satisfying. I love the combination of bacon, goat cheese, and arugula. I tasted the pasta dishes my family ordered, they were great too, but the sandwich wins. The staff here was also great. Everybody was super sweet and passionate about the dishes here. The vibes are very European cafe. I can't wait to come back.

The restaurant was not super busy at the time so not sure why they were "rushing us". 2. The tiramisu... again this is not my first time at Uovo although it is the first time I visited the Studio City spot; there was something off with the Tiramisu to the point that my friend and I did not even finish the dessert. There was a chocolate fudge thing on top as you can see in the picture that was way too much and way too overwhelming. Could not taste the coffee at all. The cream was very heavy... Other than that the pasta is always top notch, so I will definitely give them another try sometime soon!

The food and the experience were excellent. Our server was incredibly friendly and gave us some great recommendations to start the night. We began with the house bread, which was soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, and served with balsamic and olive oil. Simple and delicious. Next up was their homemade Caesar salad. Instead of traditional croutons they use toasted crumbs, and honestly it was a game changer. The texture worked perfectly with the dressing. For our mains we had the Dover sole piccata which was bright, buttery, and exactly what we were craving, along with the seafood linguine that was rich and flavorful. We wrapped things up with a cappuccino cheesecake and an Americano which was the perfect way to end the meal. Great service, great food, and a really enjoyable dinner overall. 10/10 recommend. Positives: * Caesar salad was presented nicely and was fresh and crispy with big croutons and wedges of cheese. * Wife seems to like the side of jumbo grilled prawns Areas of Improvement * I was happy to see Jidori chicken marsala on the menu. Chicken was soft and moist but the mushroom flavor didn't quite permeate all the way. I'm getting more of that through the roasted potatoes * I got the salmon penne with butter cheese sauce, instead of the pink sauce. In hindsight not the best move since the pasta was a bit bland with insufficient sauce.

I made a reservation for Easter Brunch through OpenTable for me and my son. We got there about five minutes before our reservation at noon and the hostess told us to wait outside until they were open. Not a problem. HOWEVER, she never came back out to get us once they were open which was my first red flag because she left us waiting about 10 minutes past our reservation time. I go back inside to ask if we were going to be seated for our reservation and she asks under what name...mind you I was there before opening so she already had my name and time for reservation before no one else was there yet. The food itself was great but our service was absolutely terrible. We weren't checked on throughout the meal (again the restaurant was NOT crowded) and after completing our meal I realized the hostess deleted my reservation. For those who use OpenTable you know you get points for every completed reservation. I reached out privately to management first about my overall experience to hopefully rectify the issue. I wasn't looking for any incentives but that they at least train their wait staff better and resubmit my reservation in the system so I could both redeem my points and leave a review. It never happened. In an economy where everything is expensive just stepping outside I really value good service as well as good food. If the food is great but service is terrible I will never go back and this is that spot. Discrimination shows up in different ways and I will not patronize a business who blatantly does not show all of their customers the same level of respect and service. We were greeted by Aya who mentioned they were having some plumbing problems so we needed to sit in the front section of the restaurant. The place is pretty small and compact, with about 10 tables. It's family owned and been around for 25 years. The prices are pretty affordable for the portion sizes. Not much ambiance or decorations, but there was some nice Italian music playing overhead and some Christmas decorations that are apparently hung up year-round. Both Thomas and Aya waited on us and they were both pleasant and kind with nice smiles. Thomas quickly brought out some waters along with their complimentary focaccia that came with olive tapenade. The bread tasted old and stale and wasn't warm, but I liked the tapenade. Surprisingly, we were never asked if we wanted anything else to drink and also never got refills on our waters until I had to ask for one. I ordered the Italian salad with dressing on the side and I asked if the carrots that came in the salad were cooked or raw, since I don't like raw carrots. Aya happily suggested that they can cook me some carrots separately and bring them on the side, which is what they did. Even though the carrots were not really cooked that well, the gesture was still greatly appreciated. Other than that, all the ingredients were very fresh and the dressing was LIGHT, just how I like it. For our entrèes, I got the Pollo Della Cassa which came with chicken breast and mushrooms baked with mozzarella cheese, served on pasta with Alfredo sauce. ($24.95), with an add-on of shrimp (+$3.00 for 3 shrimps). I also asked for light sauce, not too soupy, and that's exactly how it was prepared. The food was piping hot, very fresh, and delicious. My son ordered the Pollo Limone ($24.95) that came with grilled chicken breast with lemon sauce on mushroom risotto. He was not the biggest fan of his food but still ate all of it. He also asked if he could get a side of veggies and they gladly brought out a medley of sautéed broccoli, zucchini, and carrots. We were not charged for the side of veggies and also the salad, which was very generous of them. To end the meal, you get a small complimentary square of Tiramisu which is a nice little treat. The customer service is truly the best part of this restaurant and you can tell that there is a lot of love involved here. They really care about their guests and want you to feel happy and satisfied. Due to some minor ticks here and there, I think I am going to stick with 4 stars overall. The restaurant was clean but just kind of unpleasant. You could also smell the bleach right when you walk in and sometimes the smell would waft through the air. It was also really hot in the restaurant and I don't think the A/C was working. They have one bathroom for each gender and they were very clean. I also asked for some change to leave cash for the tip, but Thomas told me they didn't have any cash in the restaurant. How can that be? Thank you Spumoni, Aya, Thomas, and the chefs. Will I return? Maybe, maybe not.

Light, airy, flavorful, and somehow indulgent without leaving you feeling weighed down. Every pizza tastes thoughtfully crafted, with high-quality ingredients that let the flavors shine. Their signature slow-fermented dough has earned a devoted following for good reason. IT IS AWESOME. And for awesome you pay the price and shut your trap. This is a neighborhood place and I am thankful that it is not overrun with a fake crowd. But I feel like some of you are sleeping on this place. You travel all the way to Italy to take pasta and pizza classes and they do workshops here! The Cacio e Pepe pizza deserves its cult status, but honestly, I've never had a bad meal here. The service is always warm, the atmosphere is buzzing, and every time I leave I find myself planning what I'm ordering on my next visit. In a city full of pizza options, Pizzana remains one of the few that actually feels worth the calories. Sherman Oaks is lucky to have Pizzana right on Ventura Boulevard.
