Looks festive but tasted like hot garbage
    Lorena G.

So this review is solely based on the King's Cake, it is absolutely positively a zero! Dry dry dry layers with extra sugary laced with what seems disgusting fake cinnamon and extra large dyed granulated sugar that is just disgusting to eat. To top all this horrid mess, let's add a Hefty $29 price tag on it. Beyond Bread should be ashamed of selling this crap they are calling Kings cake. A fry's cinnamon roll would have been 100 times better.

    Brad's Beef

First time out of Tucson airport and was recommended to try Beyond Bread from a colleague. Ordered Brad's Beef as it's labeled as a favorite--bread was nicely toasted, beef was warm and tasty, cheese nicely melted. As you might expect from airport food, I'm not sure the value is there for the price, but no complaints about the taste or presentation. Also having a large iced chai tea which, while a little sweet, is quite tasty as well.

While I have never been to an actual brick and mortar location; I felt this place really did the name justice. I ordered the Fridas Flight sandwich and a water which was right around $20. Service was friendly and you can expect to grab and go.

Surprisingly really good! I highly recommend if looking for a sandwich. I was enduring a short layover and hungry but didn't want any of the traditional greasy food options. I ordered the Frida's Flight which is a great Turkey sandwich on toasted jalapeño cheddar bread and bag of chips. There was no line and it took a minute, but it was freshly made and pretty big so worth the wait.

    BLT

Super hearty and well made BLT especially for the price point and it being airport food. Lots of super fresh leafy crispy lettuce and stack of crunchy bacon. Not overly mayo'd so it was a clean eat. Perfect meal while waiting to board. Highly recommend!

Good place to grab quick reasonable pried food. I grabbed an apple turnover. Price was $3 and item was fresh and tasty. The also had salads $10 and sandwiches for $7. Affordable airport cuisine.

Yes!! I was so happy to see that Beyond Bread located in my terminal, especially since I was famished. This local gem is delicious. The staff was quick and efficient. Everything you need in a hurry especially when making a dash for your flight. My BLT was excellent the lettuce was crisp & fresh bacon cooked to perfection just the right amount of mayo and the bread toasted just right. With portion sizes large enough for sharing and prices that are unbeatable.

I honestly don't understand the bad reviews here. I ordered the egg bacon sandwich and it was very good, made quickly and with friendly service. I wish I would have caught the older gentleman's name who served me. He's very detailed and polite. A When I went to grab a bottle of water he directed me to the coldest ones. Who does that anymore? This will be my go-to stop when I'm in Tucson airport!

Best sandwiches ever! WhT else can I say? Every time I come to Tucson, I have the Unreal Reuben. Wish they would open one in Phoenix.

Slow service on hot sandwiches. Too slow for an airport. Don't go here unless you have 20-30 minutes for hot food.

I wouldn't say that it is top of the line cooking, but it is very delicious and definitely worth a visit this side of town. Parking can be a little challenging, they do share a parking lot with other businesses, but close in, there are not that many spots. Service is always friendly and makes you feel comfortable. Interesting atmosphere with flamingos galore and other things decorating the inside. Gives it somewhat of a party and fun feel. Food comes out in a timely manner even when they are very busy. Prices are reasonable. Give it a try, I think you'll like it. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

So after seeing people rave about it, I finally tried the Eegee's breakfast burrito…read more I had the Sonaran burrito. It has eggs, cheese, chorizo, jalapeños, Chipotle ranch, and salsa. I was both disappointed and pleasantly surprised by this burrito. I'll explain. First off, it's super weird when people say things like "authentic" and "high quality" when referring to places we know have corporate fast food. High quality items rarely exist. This burrito I've seen described as having "high quality" chorizo, and "authentic tortilla". Well, neither are true. The tortilla was average, nothing bad, but nothing great, it was warmed, but that's it. The chorizo was good, yes, but "high quality" is a stretch. I will say it is better than your average store bought chorizo and had a good flavor. But calling it high quality is egregiously off. I also saw people comment about how it was "big". It's not. It's about averaged sized for the pricing. It's about the size of the Del Taco breakfast burritos(the large ones). It's also smaller than nearly every other burrito you can get in this city. Even if I say "for the price" the Del Taco breakfast burrito is half the price of this. Granted, it's not good, but to make it seem like you're getting this amazingly sized burrito here, feels like I was lied to. It's not to say it was small. But it certainly wasn't filled up. I got a couple layers of just tortilla in all my bites(you can see that in one of the photos). Which, considering it WASN'T an 'authentic' tortilla, I didn't like. Anyway, the positives. The ranch, jalapeños, and salsa together were a great flavor. They complimented each other well. I was very impressed with the flavor profile considering it was Eegee's. The chorizo had a good flavor, a bit smoky in the background and not too salty. It paired well with the sauces and cheese. The eggs were VERY fluffy. I could just do an egg and cheese burrito to be honest, and probably love that. Eggs were solid, considering they were liquid eggs(I'm pretty sure). I had cheese in almost every bite. It was put together well also. All in all, I'd give it a solid 7/10. I was mainly disappointed because people overhype EVERYTHING here, and I kinda knew that, but when putting that aside, it's a good burrito. Will it change your life? No. But it's a solid option if you have $10 bucks and not a lot of time. I will go so far as to say that this burrito is better tasting and put together than their sandwich options. Anyway, it's worth trying. NOTE: this is mostly about the breakfast option, I will post another review(when I go back) to talk about my overall experiences at this location.
