Not to be confused with Beyonce Burger, where they serve lemonade, and will let you stay and eat even after you disrespect them and secretly eat at other burger joints behind their back. Personally I would go beyond Beyond Burger for a burger. Sat that 10 times fast. It wasn't awful but it certainly wasn't amazing. And the milkshake wasn't really great either. I'm pretty picky about my burgers, and in a city where Lankford and Tookie's and Killen's all make excellent versions, as well as Stanton City Bites, it takes a lot. Certainly Lankford is the gold standard for burgers anywhere, not just in Houston. So BB had a lot to live up to. And it didn't. The burger didn't really do it for me. A little bland and lacking taste. I don't make burgers so I don't know what the problem was. I just eat them. However the decor is great, and considering it's kind of in the middle of nowhere (but on the way to Galveston, where most food is iffy), it scores points. So I will give it a four. Just about. And I do like the self-service bar element. A lot. For all the condiments. I said condiments. Get your mind out of the gutter. I love the review that says: "Best chicken sandwich I've had in a long time. Better than Five Guys, Whataburger, In N' Out"... (which all have sh** chicken sandwiches, and iffy burgers to boot). Buns are definitely not fresh. My bison meat was extremely chewy. They forgot my blue cheese on my burger. The fry oil is old and saturates the fries.
