THE BEST!!! Friends, a good car person is elusive. Truly. But Chris is amazing. He's not just skilled at car electronics (which he does incredibly well too - I know from my boss's car); he's also the bomb at car maintenance! I am not lying when I say I went to three different mechanics/shops over the last year who caused more damage than they fixed. Every time I left, something new was wrong until the car just started to smell like exhaust all the time, INSIDE! and just decline in performance, quickly. But my car is 18-years old with 200K miles. I thought, "Well, this is it. It's been a good run." Which it has been, even for a Toyota. But Chris brought my old girl back to life. Not only did he fix the ailments, mechanical and electrical, and replace the brakes, etc., but my car actually looks amazing under the hood! It used to look like the inside of an abandoned barbecue under HWY 880, but it looks nice now! You can see where he cleaned up the battery connectors, where the belts look lovely and fresh, and where the new higher-quality exhaust manifold is sitting pretty. That's the thing - Chris didn't just fix and replace parts, he did so with quality parts and cleanly, unlike the last several mechanics. I don't even want to think about the other "new" parts in my car from the last shops that may be inferior (looking at you, front axle). And, my favorite part, he sent photos and videos throughout the process so I could see what damage there was and how the new parts were running! The transparency was refreshing and welcome. I originally brought my car in due to the sound not coming out clearly. I told Chris I had an older after market system. Chris listened and knew exactly what the problem was. He took off my door panel to tell me the original speakers were blown out. It was easy making an appointment for him to replace them. After he replaced the speakers I noticed there was still a problem with the sound. I called Chris to share my concerns he suggested getting the whole car rewired due to the system being older he gave me a competitive price I felt comfortable with. I came on a Saturday to get a quote on a stereo install. John or the person in charge have me a great quote. He said it could be done the following Monday or Tuesday. He gave me a business card and said to call him to choose the day. I left and called him back 5 minutes later and set the appointment up for Tuesday. Things went sideways after this. On Monday they called me and said they overbooked for Tuesday and asked if I could come in the same day. I told them no because I had already moved my schedule around to drop my car off the next day, Tuesday. They said I could bring the car in Wednesday then. That worked for me because it was the day before thanksgiving so I didn't need to drive anywhere. They told me to be there right when they open at 10 am because it's important they start early. I showed up Wednesday morning at 10 am and no one was there. I waited thirty minutes and no one showed up. No one answered the phone. No one called me later to explain why they didn't show up for my appointment. No apology. No explanation. Simply pure unprofessionalism. I would not recommend this place for any work. Service is always a reflection of performance and the service here is the lowest. Imagine what they'd do to your car. read more

I recently got into an accident that wasn't my fault and as you can imagine, a lot of problems came up in proving this to insurance, due to my lack of a dash cam. I reached out to Chris to hardwire a dash cam and he was incredibly responsive and was able to fit me in within a few days. He had the fairest price for labor out of all the businesses I reached out to. So fair that at first, I was honestly a little skeptical but I trusted the reviews. Chris was super cool when I call for the price of labor to install my aftermarket back up camera set for a 2012 audi q5. even when the labor took much longer he still warrant the same time price and apply the same effort to get the job done. I do have to be clear that the kit i purchase did not require a lot of wiring and it is very plug and play but the effort to run the camera and take out the dash is very extensive. i will be back to install an android car play to another car really soon ! read more

I don't give out 5's lightly. They've got to be earned. Chris and Beyond Street earned 'em. Honest, responsive, and thorough, these guys are a class act. I have an older car in great condition, but the "premium" Mark Levinson sound system was sub-par, as sun rots out the subwoofers on Toyota and Lexus products. Add to that a poor design that requires removing the entire rear seat in order to access and replace a subwoofer, and you've got a doozy of a pickle. My pretty nice car felt junky with a rattle and buzz that came from a poorly performing old stock rotted-out subwoofer. Beyond Street was consultative in helping me find a good replacement speaker on my own (keeping the price down), and then did the install job quickly, on time, and on budget and got me rolling again. The car shows no signs of having been torn apart or worked in/on. I'm highly impressed, and will use them for other services (like oil changes or tire rotations), and I most definitely recommend Chris and the team. read more
