Moo ping takeout. They give you 4 skewers per order but I got hungry so you only see three. They were yummy.

Multiple visits which include both dine-in and takeout warrant a review. I'm pleased there is a solid Thai joint that checks off all my boxes. They are close by, delicious and affordable. My recent visit was this weekend where I treated my parents out to lunch because I want them to try things out of their norm. They loved the food especially the Basil eggplant and the Tofu and Chicken Pad-See-Ew. The Tom Kha soup was new for all of us and had interesting flavor. I like that this location unlike other Thai places offers Moo Ping too which I love. The service was courteous and swift and if you can time it right, parking is available in their lot. Otherwise you'll have to resort to the streets for carryout and dine in.

Mixed Vegetables Entree with beef and fried Tofu appetizer lunch special
    Sonam P.

Came for lunch on NYE with friends around 12:30pm. It was easy to get elated right away and the older lady is super sweet and accommodating. We saw many do take out orders here so they were not that busy inside. The atmosphere is quiet and chill. I believe she is the owner or part of the family and was so kind and attentive. We decided to all order the Lunch Special and she helped give recos like the vegetable spring rolls being more crispy and the different choice of meats that go best with each dish, etc... I got the mixed vegetable entree as I wanted to have all the veggies and decided to get beef as I also got the fried tofu as my appetizer and the Tom Yum Chicken soup. I really enjoyed the stir fried vegetables. The beef was good as it was not that fatty as I don't like the fatty pieces of beef. I could have used a bit more of the gravy/sauce for my rice but the hot sauce helped with that :) I enjoyed the fried tofu with the sweet and sour sauce and the Tom yum soup was very flavorful and perfect to start the meal. It was just the right amount of food for lunch. I'm glad they have the lunch specials so you can try a lot of different things and also don't feel super stuffed after. I didn't have any leftovers. Overall, everyone at our table was satisfied with the food and I would definitely recommend this small Thai restaurant to others.

    Pad see ew lunch special

Did a delivery order here for lunch. The food was delivered in a timely manner. The portions was good, as well as the variety in the lunch special, for $9.50, its a decent price nowadays for what you get. We ordered 2 each of the pad see ew and the pad thai. I ate the pad see ew and it was good. A decent amount of chicken and broccoli for the amount of noodles. The egg roll with the dipping sauce was good too. The salad had a light dressing on it as well. Overall a decent meal for lunch.

    Pad see ewe

My friend and I ordered the pad see ewe with chicken and we both thought it was really good! For $10, the portion size is good and the flavor was good too! The pad see ew was just sweet enough and salty enough for me. The chicken was juicy and the broccoli added a good crunch and texture to the dish. I do wish there was more broccoli though. Overall, the service was good! We called to order and they were quick and polite. And during pickup, it was the same :) Although the strip mall looks a little eh....from the outside, I think the restaurant and the food is definitely worth it to go here!

Tom yum noodle soup April 2018
    Allison T.

I went here years ago because my friend looked up lunch special and they had a good deal. I was in the area one day when I was craving for "Tom Yum Noodle Soup". I called the restaurant to see if they can make tom yum noodle soup because it's a pretty popular street food in Thailand, that happens to be one of my favorite noodle soup dish (other than ramen and pho). I was so excited when the lady said they can make tom yum noodle soup so I was there so quick! I ordered the dish, along with vegetable pineapple fried ice. Out came my dish *tears* Tom yum soup with rice noodles inside. I told the lady that this isn't a tom yum noodle soup. It's supposed to be clear broth. She told me that they didn't have it on the menu, and I said that's why I called to see if you had it. There's a difference between tom yum noodle soup (clear broth) and tom yum soup (red broth typically with shrimp). The taste of the food is ok, but the restaurant is very 90s environment. When I've got, it was super empty, making me wonnder how they survive with business, but I've noticed there were a lot of pick up orders.

It was freezing, so I pivoted and ended up at Umaka Ramen -- honestly, not mad about it. Since I'm currently on a cut, I skipped ramen (painful, I know ) and went with the chicken teriyaki entrée with sauce on the side. It came out on a sizzling plate which made it feel extra legit, and the salad was actually beautifully plated...not just a throwaway side. That said... for $24, I still kinda feel like they should've just included the miso soup instead of charging extra. BUT -- the miso soup? They did NOT skimp. Loaded with tofu and seaweed, super comforting, and honestly one of the better ones I've had. Service and ambiance were both great...clean, cozy, and a nice escape from the cold mall chaos. Overall, a-ok in my book Not mind-blowing for the price, but solid, satisfying, and they gave me exactly what I ordered.

The original talented mom and pop owners retired and returned to Thailand, and best wishes to them. There is a newer menu and it is slightly more limited and doesn't include a favorite of ours, #51 Tom Leng, as that dish apparently was too much work to prepare. Anyway, we ordered a #22 pork hide sun (fried crispy pork with sticky rice) for $12.95 as well as a #35 pad see eiw with chicken also for $12.95. I would say the value was very good and the quality on the average side. The fried pork had good flavor but the sticky rice was microwaved in saran wrap and was a hard dough ball by the time we got home and a big disappointment. This could have been a very nice dish if the rice were steamed and eaten right there in the food court. The chicken pad see eiw was pretty average in taste and content. I would say overall it's a 3.5 rounded up to 4 stars with relative value being their best aspect. Best wishes and good luck in any event to the new owners!

What ails me is a hunger for goat stew, so I'm frequently cured. Quite fantastic, loaded with super fresh leaves that cook down into the wok in 10 minutes and if you are in the know, put off the rice until the very end when, if you eat nearly almost all of it, leaving a scrimp of meat and leaf and a few tablespoons of broth, ask for the kimchi rice, which the staff will prepare at your table with the namesake and an egg. You will feel healthy. If goat is not your thing, the seafood pancakes with green onions are a treat, the chap chae is yum-yum time, and the dol sot bib bim bop is a deep satisfier. I love the skinny little pike makerels (Kkong Chi Gui), especially for lunch. The service is excellent though causal, no pressure. It is often busy with every table eating one of the stews. And, if you are lucky, go in the early afternoon, the place is yours with Chilly Willy and Tom And Jerry cartoons. Tops on my list for overall comfort, taste, cozy, causal dining. Banchan a plenty.
