Thanks to my Yelp friend Tora introducing me to Bianca!. She said there's this awesome restaurant she wanted to try. They have a take out window called LA Finestra, which sells their pizzas, bread, and sandwiches only open on Wednesdays. Aside from buying the takeout, we ate at the restaurant and enjoyed a delicious meal. Those who know me know I am a snob when it comes to my French and Italian cuisine, especially with the sweets and pastries. This place did not disappoint! Food and pastries were authentic and delicious! Must get the table bread basket. Extensive of different kinds of bread with butter. Take out Must try, the spicy salami pizza, honey croissants, and the banana loaf bread. You can park at the Platform parking structure, but Bianca does not validate. Came in for the bakery and pastries and left happy until I ate it! I got a meringue cake, alfajore cookies, and a fruit danish. I'm pretty sure the cake was spoilt as it tasted like sweaty dirty socks! I was so shocked such a nice place with such beautiful pastries could make something that tastes so rancid!!!!! The cookie was good and unfortunately the only thing that was edible. The danish tasted really old as well. I arrived in the afternoon, around 2 pm, and went to the restaurant side. There is another door/option for the cafe, which is what I originally intended. I didn't expect it to be so confusing finding the correct entrance, though I'll blame my mix up on the impending rain. The inside was very lovely and felt pretty upscale. It reminded me of the Beverly Hills Hotel restaurant a bit, actually. I ended up getting a decaf coffee (though the restaurant menu didn't have coffee/cafe drinks listed), one spinach, and one chicken empanada. The empanadas were tasty, but very small and not what I would have expected for $16. The coffee was surprisingly really good, I'm not used to decaf being so rich and flavorful. Overall, I am glad I tried. I definitely plan to come back for the bakery/cafe in the future. I don't know if I would frequent the restaurant again as it was too overpriced. read more

The latte was excellent, probably one of the highlights. I also really enjoyed the Cacciucco. The broth was rich and flavorful. The Bolognese, though, was just okay. I had been looking forward to the veal bolognese, but it didn't quite live up to expectations. We ended up spending about $70 per person. I went to Bianca for lunch today with a friend and it was such a cute spot! The outside area is lovely and feels like a little European getaway. I had the French onion soup and it was delicious and perfectly filling (I wasn't super hungry and this was the perfect thing to warm me up). The cheese was so yummy and the bread made the soup. My friend got the tomato bisque-avocado toast. I was surprised when the toast came actually submerged in the soup itself (I was expecting it to be on the side). She seemed really happy with her meal! We grabbed some cookies and bread to go at the end and I am so glad we did. The chocolate chip cookie and the double chocolate cookie are both sooooo good - I would def get more desserts next time! We found this place on Yelp when searching for a good brunch spot in the area. We ordered a few chef recommendations including the spicy southern fried chicken burger, peach salad (my friend), spaghetti and a few others. The burger is great and the bun is slightly crispy which is exactly I am looking for in a gourmet burger. The sauce is well balanced with a slight tanginess. I wish the side fried potatoes could be a little more though. I also ordered an Americano. Interestingly they served you a shot of espresso and let yourself add hot water to your like. Appreciate the touch. The place can get busy on a weekend. We only called 15 mins prior to our arrival without reservation, and were pleasantly surprised we had a seat once we checked in. read more

We only went to the bakery but it had such a great vibe. It's reminiscent of some French or Italian bakeries you'd find. The pastries were all amazing and they had a wide variety. Your neighborhood lunch spot. I snuck away for a long lunch with my team to this spot in Culver City. I was delighted to find that the restaurant was filled with people making a quick stop, families enjoying a nice meal, and girlfriends catching up. The staff were attentive and careful to give us room to chat. The food was carefully plated for us after we mentioned we planned to eat family style. Though I was reserved at first as the prices are on the slightly more expensive side, the prices ended up being reasonable and fair given the location and the service we recieved. A seriously delicious breakfast in Culver City, complete with a full-sized bakery with many to-go options as well. I am in the area often so have been wanting to try Bianca for awhile. Parking is extremely easy in the parking garage directly above Bianca. We spent about 90mins @ brunch and our parking was only $2. They have indoor seating options, but we chose to eat outside because the weather was perfect this past weekend. Our server was very polite and all of our drink and food items arrived quickly. We started off our meal with a Chocolate Croissant and some Caramel Lattes and both were fantastic. The croissant was especially good and perfectly flaky. I ended up getting a few to go after we finished our brunch because it was that good. For our meal we chose the Scrambled Eggs and the Croque Madame + avocado. The eggs were cooked perfectly and she enjoyed every bit of her meal. I ordered the Croque Madame and it was fabulous. Petit Trois still has my all time favorite, and favorite in LA, Croque Madame, but I would say this version could count as my 2nd or 3rd favorite. I order it often all over town so that's saying something. I definitely would recommend and will order it again next time I stop in for breakfast. Overall a great breakfast, brunch, or lunch location. The bakery has a ton of great options too so it's easy to stop in and leave full with a big bag of treats. The food and pastries at Bianca were incredible -- no complaints there. This was our first visit after a strong recommendation, and while the food quality was great, the service really let us down. We were dressed casually and seated in a corner, far from other guests. When we asked if we could enjoy some pastries at the table along with our breakfast, the server said no -- takeout only. We explained our situation but were still declined. We ended up getting the pastries anyway, and it quickly became clear we were being treated differently. The staff kept checking in on us as if they thought we were going to leave without paying. It was obvious that, because we were in casual clothing and tucked away in the corner, we were under constant observation, which made us feel very uncomfortable. I think our local hosts could have perhaps over-hyped this place. Although the foods brought out to our table were delicious, the overall experience was quite "without". We started with a basket of their bakery breads and a delicious focaccia (FUGAZZETTA) and finished with just ok plates and service. Our service was decent and there was plenty of staff . . . all running around hurriedly. If you blinked, it was gone off the table. "Hey, where did the very small sample of the ok chimichurri go?" Our table was served a flavorless French onion soup that I witnessed large amounts of salt and pepper (our guest took the back off the shaker 'cause it wasn't coming out fast enough). Then I tasted it, claiming there was now some of the flavor it was lacking. The Milanese was very simple and plain, but served with an egg on top (Croque Madam-style). The best plate was the Branzino served cut without the head then plated minus the bones. Very flavorful and nicely broiled, just without the presentation. The Branzino plate was also served with roasted simple cauliflower, broccoli and some attempt at the Argentine puffy potatoes (I forget the name). Really solid pastries at the bakery!! There is an extra fee if you want to eat the pastries at a dine-in table, but there is also a small counter by the door where you can hang out for a bit. Very friendly staff, felt like warm family vibes :) They gave me a huge shiny box for the pastries which was a vibe. The light and fluffy vanilla cannoncini was my favorite, but the pumpkin loaf came really close because the pumpkin flavor was strong in the best way. The honey croissant was probably my least favorite, mostly because I personally prefer flaky and light croissants. The ricotta cheesecake was also great. Bianca, in Culver City has been on my list for a while. The establishment has a bistro feel, with French, Italian and Argentinian dishes. On the day I was there, the chefs were Italian and Argentinian. The French contribution comes from Pierre, a friendly host and a master in customer gastronomic hospitality. There is a bakery section in the restaurant and both indoor and outdoor seating. A well selected playlist of French songs permeates the air (even in the restroom). I was there for lunch, on a week day and the place was busy. The menu immediately provided several dilemmas, because of the fine eclectic selection of European foods. I started with the Tomato Bisque - Avocado Toast. The toast was made of country loaf bread, perfectly crisped and colored, topped with avocado and a nice and runny poached egg. This presentation was elegantly sitting in a pool of tomato bisque. The toast was not soggy and all the ingredients blended in culinary harmony. My empanada order followed (you get to choose two). For me it was beef and corn, both very tasty, however, the latter being my favorite (creamy and excellently prepared), I finished off with the almond and fig crostata and asked for it a la mode. They said, why not, and brought out a serving of vanilla gelato. Both the desserts were exceptional. Service was extraordinary, the food fantastic and the ambiance optimized for a delightful dining experience. Undoubtedly, one of the best all round restaurants in the Los Angeles area. read more

I came in with my boyfriend for a quick bite before other plans on a Sunday afternoon. It's busy but nothing crazy. We sat at the bar, and nobody else was sitting there. We ordered a $10 basket of bread and $18 empanadas (pricey but whatever). It took 15 minutes to get a basket of bread and it was cold and old. I'm talking nowhere near being toasted or warmed. Why did it take so long? Not to mention that it's clearly discarded scrap bread. I'd be embarrassed to serve it for free if it was my restaurant. The 2 empanadas were fine I guess. They were obviously small and overpriced for what they are. All the drinks are undeservedly $20+. Waste of time and overall a very stupid experience. It should be one star but I don't know. The people working there were fine enough. And it's pretty. I recommend Roberta's across the way instead though. read more

I love Bianca. I do. Mainly for the amazing desserts and baked goods. I finally enjoyed a lunch here although the food was pleasant, I could pass on dining in. It's just not really my vibe. Would be great for a ladies la-di-da luncheon for sure. Service out on the patio was OK. There were definitely other patrons who seem to be of more importances than us. But the win is definitely the café desserts and breads. There is a quick pick up window that has a small menu of pizzas sandwiches, and such that changes regularly. I've never been excited by the window menu. I've ordered birthday cakes, three times from here. They have all been amazing. THE FOOD: Bufala alla Caprese - Ratatouille style veggies with this glob of sheets so delicious. Melanzane alla Parmigiana - eggplant Parm twist the cheese and sauce, overpowered the eggplant still tasty very light dish. Spicy chicken sandwich - A solid sandwich. Not spicy at all. Since we had a group we hit it with the family style ordering, so lets get to the food: Cocktails of all kinds: Standard mixologists behind the bar. Nothing out of the ordinary. Straightforward cocktails. Bufala Alla Caprese: A solid dish with good Mozz. Worth a buy. House Salad: Its a salad and it was good. If you need greens grab one. Baby Kale Nicoise Salad: Another solid choice for greens. Pretty refereshing. Daily Special Ribeye(cant remember the cut): A solid steak, cooked well, but a bit bland even with the accompanied chimichurri, so nothing to write home about. Branzino Al Forno: A bit bland on flavor, and quite a small portion for the price. Would skip this Risotto: Not a big fan of Risottos, but this one seemingly had some flavor: Cacciucco: This probably had the most flavor out of everything that we ordered. They had a generous portion of seafood in it, and the tomato saffron broth was good. Overall everything was OK. For the value of the meal I think you might find a more enjoyable flavorful meal on the other side of the building. I'd probably say come here for the bakery items and anything baked. I would probably go back to try their pizza since their croissants are so good. For now, most of the meal was bland, so hoping your meal gets a more flavorful punch. read more

We decided to try out Bianca's. This place is right in the downtown Culver City arts district. The ambiance is lovely and I'm sure people looking for photo ops love this place. From the gold utensils to the colorful plates, it's very chic. It was also surprisingly child friendly with lots of families inside which was shocking for the prices. I think this place caters to mostly international tourists. It's unfortunately very high priced for the amount of food you get. Almost $5 for a cup of coffee that is not refilled. While the food was good, it was not the most memorable that I have had in Los Angeles. There pancakes were good, but Nichols are better and more filling. My husband ordered the eggs Benedict that came with almost no bread and one of his eggs was too uncooked to the point where he was not comfortable eating it. Needless to say he was still hungry when we left. I ordered the Spanish tortilla which was notable and filling, but reminded me of a quiche and would have been great with a little salad on the side to accompany the bread with tomatoes. We did order a baked good and that was delicious. We may return for the bakery, but probably not too often for the regular breakfast service as it is just a little too high priced in our opinion to still leave hungry. read more

We came here to celebrate our anniversary. Kimberly, the hostess, was very sweet and personable and seated us within minutes. Our server Erin was also very sweet and checked in on us often. We started with their yummy Bread Basket and a Burrata appetizer and followed up with a Fettuccine Bolognese and Salmon dish, which was cooked to perfection! Not sure if the staff was having an off day, but the service was very lagging. I had to ask for water a few times and extra butter, which we never received. I made a reservation and specifically requested an outdoor table and a high chair because I have a baby. The hostess confirmed and sent me an email confirmation. Based on her confirmation, I drove half an hour to this restaurant. I arrive to the restaurant and the hostess notifies me that she gave the high chair away. She acknowledged that she had confirmed a high chair and failed to hold it for me. My child cried the entire dinner and I couldn't eat because I had to hold him the entire time. HORRIBLE SERVICE. This used to be my favorite restaurant but recently I had a waiter treat me very inappropriately. The waiter was not happy because I was "ordering too much". I am in town alone without my family so I came here to sit down and eat and enjoy my birthday but it was absolutely awful. I tried to order to-go so that I would have some lunch during the week but the waiter wouldn't place my order because they were "too busy for stuff like that" on this particular day. I then asked him if I could order dessert and he wouldn't even give me the opportunity to do that. He wouldn't even let me order SOUP TO GO! I drive 45 minutes away to go to Culver City to patronize this restaurant and this is how I was treated! Once he saw that I received my appetizer, he just started ignoring me from that point on. He wouldn't let me ask for anything else. I had to catch him in order to get the check! Never have I ever been treated in such a way at a restaurant. After I finished eating, I went to the bar so that I could try to order a dessert since it was my birthday after all. I'm done with this establishment. Obviously spending $200 to $300 dollars a visit does not equate a valued customer. Mind you this is a place that I have flown in from TX to LA just to eat here! I'm gravely disappointed. Literally writing this review as soon as we left the restaurant. This was by far our worst dining experience in LA (if people have an idea of what bad LA service is, this would be it - but it's sad coz we've mainly only had good service since moving here) I'm gonna pull the race or age card here, because we were definitely discriminated against and were the only other Asian (I saw another family on the other side of the patio) & young table at the time. The service we received was EXTREMELY cold. Maybe the server didn't think we would spend or order as much and felt we weren't worth his time. From being told we only had less than an hour and a half to eat by the hostess, to being tucked away in an awkward big table in the corner meant for a party of 6 (we were only a party of 3 with 2 dogs - there were plenty of tables open), to not even receiving a "hello" but a getting a very aggressive "WATCH YOUR DOG" followed by a glare by our rude busser - mind you, my dog wasn't even in a walkway, he was tucked away on the other end of the table and only went up to the busser to sniff him coz you know.. dogs do that? My dog has never jumped on or bit anyone (if he was aggressive, why would we take him out?) - this was the VERY FIRST interaction& impression we received from your staff before even being offered water or anything to drink, to being told by our server Benedict F. that we only had 10 mins to order from the breakfast menu (at 11:12) but not coming back until 11:29 to take our order (breakfast ends at 11:30), and not getting water unless we asked for more (first time around we went to 10 mins w.o water and 2nd time was 15 mins). He was extremely chatty with the older couple behind us but with us he was very short and cold. The only questions we received throughout service was "what do you want" and "are you done." I pulled the discrimination card because we noticed the service towards everyone else around us was different. We saw a party of 4 who got seated at an actual 4 top table (an hour after we got sat - there were tables empty for over an hour) WITH A BIG DOG who didn't receive the same type of service we got. I would say we like to dine out for brunch/lunch often and would spend a decent amount dining out for brunch. Yesterday brunch we went to Dialog and had such an amazing time and received great service there. So much so that we wanted to go back today to take our family who's in town but out of convenience for where he was staying, we chose Bianca and boy, we regret it so much - I would have had a better experience at Pasta Sisters down the street. We spent $127 (before tip) and ordered 5 items (soup, pancake, pasta, salad & a sandwich) for 3 people - I would say most would argue that's on the higher end for brunch. The sad thing is, food was actually decent even though it was expensive. I would have wanted to come back for their cakes/pastries. At Dialog we spent so much less and the food AND service was amazing. We just felt so uncomfortable and unwanted throughout our dining period here. Safe to say we will never be returning. read more
