I've had this place bookmarked ever since it came across my TikTok feed! I'm a huge Mediterranean food fan, so I recommended it to my friend Angie for her birthday dinner. We made a reservation in advance for a Friday night and ordered a variety of dishes for the table along with a bottle of wine. Interestingly, the power went out on the entire block during our dinner, but luckily we had already placed our food order. We ended up getting some extra candles for better lighting, and the staff was incredibly accommodating throughout the whole situation. They even gave us a free glass of wine for the trouble, which was such a nice gesture. All of the food was delicious. Some of our favorites were the Wagyu kabobs, tuna tartare, Greek salad, and tzatziki. Despite the unexpected power outage, we had a great experience and would definitely come back again!

The food itself is genuinely great, that's the only reason this isn't one star. We came in a party of 10 for a birthday and left feeling nickel-and-dimed at every turn. Our server, Ula, had an attitude from the moment we started ordering. When we tried to order our appetizers alongside our cocktails, even though we'd taken the time to write the whole order out in our notes app to make things easier for her, she got short with us, telling us instead that it would be easier for her if we placed the full order all at once. She then took forty five minutes to bring us replacement lamps after we found ours were already dead when we sat down, something that should've been caught before we were ever seated, leaving our table lit by nothing but the outdoor heaters for most of the night. The menu design itself is a little baffling too. The starters (hummus, eggplant) don't come with any pita, the flatbread is a separate $8 add-on with just one piece per order. For a table of 10, that meant ordering 13 flatbreads just to have something to scoop the dips with, $78 on bread alone. The flatbread itself was incredible, but having worked in the industry myself, I don't get why they wouldn't just build the bread into the price of the starters instead of nickel-and-diming it separately. The real problem is the billing. When they ask still or sparkling, they do not mention the still water is $11 a bottle, or that tap is even an option. It wasn't until later in the meal, when we kept asking for more water and they started bringing it out in a pitcher, that we even realized tap was on the table the whole time. 6 bottles later, that's $66 on water alone that we would have skipped entirely had anyone said a word. Looking at other reviews, this is not new. Multiple people have complained about this exact same water issue, 3 reviews dating back over a year, and the manager has responded each time promising they'd do better. Nothing has changed. We also brought a birthday cake, which staff walked out with the candle lit, set on the table, and left for us to cut and serve ourselves with plates and forks they handed us, then charged us $30 for a cake cutting fee. On top of a 20% large party gratuity, which is standard and fine, they tacked on an additional 4.7% service fee. When we pushed back, Ula was dismissive, at one point visually frowning and saying she "felt for us" and that if it were her restaurant water would be free - then only comped the cake fee, leaving the water charges and extra fee intact. The water is free though if you mentioned tap alongside the still or sparkling options! Great menu, good vibe, but be ready to interrogate every line item before you order anything, and don't expect much warmth from your server if you do.

Alisa, a standout Greek restaurant, consistently impressed us with each dish. From the dips, we savored the hummus and romesco, while the Greek salad could have benefited from a bit more cucumber. The seabass crudo was a delightful surprise, and for the mains, we opted for the octopus and lobster orzo. Our attentive server ensured that each plate was cleared promptly as we finished our meals. The restaurant's interior and outdoor seating exuded a beautiful design, and even the bathrooms were adorned with high-quality Le Labo products, showcasing their attention to detail.

It's worth the hype my friends. The staff: incredibly friendly, helpful, and patient with the hungry Friday night crowd. The vibes: whether you're sitting outside, inside, or near the bar, it's excellent. The food: everything was delicious, but my callouts have to be the flatbread, spicy feta, chicken skewers, Wagyu skewers, and roasted potatoes.

Delicious food, beautiful vibe, friendly staff. We had a fantastic dinner at Alisa last night. We arrived just before 8pm on a Saturday and were seated within 10 minutes without a reservation. We got a drink at the bar, staff was friendly, and some really nice Greek wines available. As a Greek, I'm always skeptical and while it wasn't my yiayias cooking every dish was absolutely delicious! They were also very busy and the service was fast, attentive, and friendly. Spanakopita - fantastic, crispy, flaky, savory, very good! Romesco, confit leeks - really tasty, the pita was the star here, would likely switch to the tzatziki next time. Lamb chops - these were cooked PERFECTLY! Tzatziki was so good, I would absolutely not miss these. Lobster orzo - it was so perfect, seafood was fresh, but it's a very rich dish we couldn't finish it - it was good. Baklava - this was my favorite desert, never pass up baklava. Cheesecake - so lovely, we mentioned we were celebrating our 12 year anniversary and they brought this out with a candle on the house - it was so so so good! Overall, very impressed! Would definitely return, also it got very busy after 8pm I'm so surprised we were able to get in! Reminded me I need to brush up on my Greek.

Walking into this restaurant, you feel like you are on a luxury vacation in Greece. The indoor seating is adorable, but the outdoor area is even better. The food was delicious, including the complementary olives and the flatbread, seabass, eggplant dip, and lamb. Even better were the cocktails. The golden hour drink is delicious and it can be seen dotting almost every table. The waitstaff are extremely kind, but also overly attentive. We found ourselves unable to engage in much conversation over dinner because we were being interrupted by waitstaff seemingly every few minutes. Our water glasses were practically overflowing. By the end of the night, it had become so comical at our table, that with my last bite of the meal, I started a timer and within about a minute, the table had been cleared and wiped down. I attached a photo for evidence. The restaurant is essentially perfect, and if they can let their diners enjoy their ambience and food, they would be worthy of a five star review.

Such a gorgeous restaurant. We were seated in the outdoor garden area and it was such a good vibe and would be perfecttt for a date night We started with a spanakopita to share and while it was super tasty and light, it was extremely tiny and doused in some sort of cheese sauce. The spinach filling itself was 10/10 but i have to take away some points for the size and how overpowering the cheese was. 7.5/10 We also ordered the meatballs and chicken skewers and loved both. I preferred the chicken skewers because they were super juicy and flavorful and you get more for the cost but the meatballs were so juicy and super flavorful too. Both were 8.5/10 My main qualms are that they say all their dishes are made to be shareable/family style so I expected the portions to be bigger - especially since each main was about ~30 each. Also every meal was clearly not hot/fresh - honestly warm at best which was really disappointing. Service was also not the best, we waited a while for each dish and had to call the waitress over multiple times because they didn't come to check on us.

Such an amazing Greek spot! I had no idea this existed until seeing it on TikTok. The entire staff was super friendly helpful and attentive. You could tell it was a team effort. As if ambience, I really felt like I was in Greece. The cutest interior, vessels. We easily made a rsvp and were seated fairly quick. They open up at 5pm. We tried the pita, romesco, sea bass carpaccio, lamb skewers and Greek salad. There's a great assortment of wine with lots of different pairings. Do yourself a favor and try this place out. Whether it's girls night, a date or group outing, it will not disappoint!

    Octopus and wagyu skewers

I've been to Alisa many times now -- one of my favorite spots to eat. The food is delicious (I recommend the octopus) and the atmosphere is beautiful. They've always been very accommodating and attentive of my food restrictions too

This is such a cute spot, the front entrance is so unassuming, but as you go deeper into the restaurant, they have quite a bit of a gorgeous indoor seating. Their outdoor patio is where it's at though. It is surrounded with these gorgeous olive trees. Every single bite we had there was so good and fresh and light. My favorite bites have to be the Greek salad, those heirloom tomatoes are so juicy and sweet. And I loved the branzino. It is so tender and has these flavorful garlic chips all on top. The seabass crudo is also so bright and a little spicy. We also tried the flatbread, which is nice and fluffy, and paired well with the hummus, although the hummus was pretty standard. The chicken skewers are also really, really tender, but nothing too special about that either. Service is really quick, food comes out quickly as well, everyone that works here is so nice and on top of it. It is such a perfect spot for a nice brunch!

We went here for my husband's birthday, and it was such an amazing experience. I felt like I was transported to Greece and on vacation. The vibe is amazing from the arched doorways to the deep blue's, comfy pillows and booth seating, and tapestries throughout the restaurant I loved it. Inside there is dim lighting and music so it felt romantic but also lively at the same time. Food was excellent we got the hummus, eggplant, with warm pita, and our main was the lamb, which was so delicious. We finished with the passionfruit cheesecake for Deseret. I cannot wait to come back!

Great food, beautiful and romantic ambiance, & wonderful service Came here for a date night with a reservation. It was busy during dinner time and were sat quickly. The restaurant is very big with lots of indoor, outdoor, & upstairs seating (not wheelchair accessible) The food was very flavorful and cooked beautifully. The branzino was perfectly cooked! The hummus & puta bread were not too salty or too strong in flavor The wagyu skewers were filling! All the plates are shareable & were filling Overall great Mediterranean food! Will come again

Drinks: 10/10 - if you like cocktail bars this is it...EVERY drink was a unique in flavor and handcrafted by Markley from steep to serve. house-infused liquors and tinctures- ONE OF A KIND BAR Food: 8.5/10 - all around great some dishes better than others Bread & Butter - 9/10 great toasted sourdough with a garlic butter and the butter was perfect salty-addition. Calamari - 7/10 a little too breaded for my liking with the rings and tentacles being a little dry. Deviled eggs: 7.5/10 interesting they were fried, but had great flavor all over Mongolian Beef: 8/10 very good flavor, and rice was tasty, but the sauce was a little salty. Cajun chicken pasta: 9.5/10 chicken was tender, pasta was cooked perfectly, sauce was delicious, and the sausage was a great addition. I'd easily drive an hour from LA again to come here!

Energy goes way up with it though. Music is consistently great and the crowd matches it. Mostly a younger, high-energy vibe. If you actually want to enjoy your drinks and maybe chat with the bartenders, show up early. Once it gets going, it's all motion and noise. It's never disappointed us. You kind of know what you're signing up for, and it delivers every time. Ambiance leans classy without feeling vintage. Dim lighting, a touch of rustic, and just enough polish to set the tone without overdoing it. They've got a patio too, which comes in clutch when you need a breather or want to actually hear the person next to you. We usually do street parking and it's not too bad if you're willing to walk a bit. I've wanted to eat at Kustaa for a long time, so I had high hopes, but unfortunately, my experience…read morewas a major letdown. I visited on a Friday in the early afternoon. It was pretty quiet, yet we were barely greeted by the staff. To make matters worse, another patron was changing their 2-year-old's diaper right there on the patio. It was completely "butt baked" and extremely unappetizing while trying to eat. Food we ordered : * Pâté Sandwich: The pâté itself was actually good, but it was ruined by a ton of mustard. I had to scrape it off just to eat it as the mustard completely overpowered the sandwich. * Salmon Sandwich: Very bland and lacked flavor. Side sales were bland. We had to ask for extra dressing. * Iced Coffee: There was something "weird" floating in my coffee. Between the hygiene issues on the patio, and the mediocre food, I won't be back. Maybe I should have just stuck with wine and cheese.

Cute spot with charcuterie and cheese. I called ahead to make a reservation and when we arrived there, it was an easy process to get in. Metered street parking available. You order with a team member but pay at the counter. The guys there were awesome - super personable and friendly, they were chill to chat with. We ordered the raclette (one each) and a chocolate tart for dessert, which they were kind enough to set aside. Overall, I'd highly recommend for a date night or intimate dinner.

I wasn't sure I would like it or not, but I can tell you I ended up eating it all. It was awesome, every single dish! I'm going here again...even without her haha! We started with the focaccia which was delicious, although it tastes different than what gluten made focaccia tastes like. It was very light and crisp, not as rustic as regular gluten made, and even more enjoyable with the spiced olive oil that accompanied it. As an appetizer we tried the fried stuffed squash blossom with minted ricotta. OMG!! That was SO incredibly tasty! We definitely want that again... and we will later Today! I had the pasta Bolognese and my friend had the fish and chips which we shared and we both loved each of them. The fish was so crispy and delicious and it came with gluten-free fries which were also awesome. We had two glasses of wine which we loved, and we were very impressed with our server, Cameron, who is obviously an expert on their impressively large wine collection. He is a legitimate wine connoisseur. I asked a couple of ridiculous questions, yet he answered them so politely with his highly knowledgable answer. He was such a wonderful SOMM as well as a very friendly and personable server... with a wonderful sense of humor. So. I want people who are not gluten-free to know it's good to try to try this place. Everything is not only tasty but beautifully presented and the room is so cozy. If you're worried about trying gluten-free don't be. I asked Cameron's opinions on the food and I'll tell you he did not steer us wrong. Highly recommended by both of us; My friend with Celiac disease and myself who professors to be 'normal' (not gluten free). Oh.. we could not fit in dessert, but are very sad not to have been able to. There was a a beautiful display of luscious looking desserts that we will also have to go back for tonight, we must try to make room for one this evening or at least take a couple to go. Enjoy it!

It had a good hipster bar vibe to the place. The chicken and waffles with biscuits was very good I will have to come back to try some more things when we are together rushing because they are on the slower side. Street parking in the area is more tough.
