The staff is friendly from the moment you walk in you feel at home. The salad was okay definitely need to add salt and pepper to taste . The garlic rolls were great fresh and tasty . I ordered the baked ziti with meatballs . I regretted it the moment it came to the table. I tried eating it but it was just sloppy and not so tasty meatballs tasted oily and under seasoned and the baked ziti tasted watery and thrown together . My sister ordered penne vodka with chicken ( the chicken was a bit dry you could tell the sauce was making it somewhat easier to chew. . My wife and I have been coming to Biba's for years, we drove all the way from Covington so that we can have our favorite Italian dish. We had shrimp and scallops in vodka sauce and also they're delicious garlic rolls. My wife and I both wanted good Italian for dinner. I ordered Biba's and went 20 mins later to pick it up. Walked in several bags waiting to go on the bar. Got mine paid and was off. Got home what a mess. I asked for an extra dressing NOPE. Looked for garlic knots NOPE. I ordered Chicken Marsala and asked for Fettucine noodles no sauce. Got reg pasta no sauce 1/2right. The noodles were cooked in water, not a salted water. The chicken dry and NO marsala taste whatsoever. The aluminum container was not sealed right and leaked all over everywhere. It was flat on the floorboard of the car. My wife's Chick Parm was dry and tasteless. This is twice in a row it has been subpar. So, as they say in baseball 2 strikes and I am out. First, my Caesar salad was drowning in dressing. Good dressing, but the salad itself was inedible. I could pour it out onto a plate. My husband's lasagna was frozen solid in the middle. My son's eggplant parm had no breading - just gray layers of eggplant. His side of spaghetti was just noodles with red sauce on top. My lobster special had two lobster tails, still in the shell, so I had to break them apart and get the meat out, and it was rubbery and just hammered overdone (it was the special, no less). No meat at ALL in any of the sauces for the lasagna or spaghetti. Oh, and we had to ask for silverware twice. And the chairs were ripped and needed attention. So bummed. read more

After years of not visiting Bibas as often as I used to, I decided to take my husband here for lunch. During lunch time they were relatively busy for only one server, but the guy did great! Very fast, and efficient with refilling our garlic knots and drinks. For entrees I ordered the stuffed shells, and my husband ordered the lasagna (even after telling him how bad I remembered it to be lol). The stuffed shells were ok. Just a little bland tbh but not so bad I guess. The lasagnas was definitely better than I remembered. Best thing here are simply those garlic knots. That's the reason why I keep coming back here. Got it for catering and everything was bland, missing both salt and basic seasoning like pepper or Italian herbs. All the pasta we ordered came overcooked and mushy, and the lasagna tasted like Stouffers frozen lasagna. Would not recommend, but maybe it's better in person. read more

First off, the attention to service was the most pleasant of all! Our waitress Sarah was the reason the meal went by in a fabulous manner! She was up beat and brought us our meal in the order you would expect. Salad 1st appetizer 2nd main course 3rd and lastly dessert! The atmosphere at Bi Ba's is marvelous, there are pictures of Venecia Italy on the walls which really depicts the food authenticity! Zuppi de pesca was delicious! Fettuccine Alfredo was cheesy and full of chicken just like expected, NOT everything all at once! Most important, the tiramisu was actually moist and had the correct amount of sweetness and can be compared to the one at San Giovanni! I've been enjoying meals from this Italian restaurant ever since I moved near Sugarloaf, and they never fail to impress me with their Famous Blackened Chicken Salad. Ladies and gentlemen, if you love blackened chicken and are curious about how it tastes on a salad, you absolutely have to visit this place. This place is unfortunately going downhill. We absolutely love the food here, it's amazing, however the dining experience is turning into a dump. The floors and most tables were a mess the whole night. The entire restaurant needs a facelift with replacing the carpet with tile, removing the old worn down booths and just adding a little flare throughout the restaurant to make it a nice Italian dining experience for a night out. read more

The meat sauce on the ravioli had a strange smell and taste. Not a spoiled smell but more of a different spice was used that is not normally used in spaghetti sauce. I was excited to try the garlic rolls because they looked really good in the photos and they were good but personally I think they're way better with a sauce of some kind. The highlight of the night was my dish. I really loved the Tortellini Gabrielle. It was delicious! Unfortunately it did take so long to come out that everyone else was finished eating and I ended up taking it to go. Our server was good but I guess she was overloaded that day. We ordered the cheese sticks, they were the same as if I had bought a frozen box and heated them at home. It has been a while since we ate at Biba's in Lawrenceville; probably before Covid. This was our favorite Italian restaurant. They still serve the same huge eggplant parmigiana. It is awesome. The meal comes with a house salad. They give you super abundant salad dressing. Oh, let's not forget the garlic bread. Yum! The restroom is maintained and cleaned. The carpet and walls were updated with new pictures. Our servers, Sarah is awesome. She is attentive, professional, and patient. Cannot believe it took me so long to eat here! Bibas has been in this plaza since the Publix opened prior to the 96' Olympics. Literally!!! Now, I did move out the area, but I still frequent Gwinnett and never stopped in for a bite until today! I ordered online and 1st impression was the packaging. I read previous reviews that mentioned the packaging was poor and tried to make the restaurant seem bad because of that. Everything was sturdy, stapled and dry. Extra support was given between each dish with a section of cardboard box. I ordered Ravioli with Alfredo sauce, Eggplant Rollatini, Side Cesar Salad with Bibas house Vinaigrette and 2 complimentary rolls in the order. Total amounted to about $25 excluding the delivery fees, etc.... Not so bad! Portions are huge. I am STUFFED, and literally have enough for lunch tomorrow! The quality is divine! The Ravioli was so creamy and the ricotta is mixed in with the alfredo sauce into a thick creamy sauce. The Ravioli noodle is delicate and stuffed with Ricotta. You can swap alfredo for the sauce of your choice. I do wish the Ravioli had a bit more herby taste but It was still delicious! Eggplant Rollatini was a perfect appetizer. It honestly could be a meal for a vegetarian. Fried eggplant rolled and stuffed with Cheese, covered in sauce and mozzarella atop! Delicious!!! The rolls are delicious and very "garlicy" and covered in parmesan. And of course last, the salad is like any other cesar salad, but better because of the house Vinagrette. I can tell they use a good quality olive oil and the herbal blend is perfect! I will definitely order again and hopefully dine-in once things calm down a bit more! read more

Very nice people, good food, nice atmosphere except on Mother's Day. They put up extra tables to accommodate large parties, that's fine except there was no table covers which made it feel like an informal cookout rather then upscale restaurant. People enjoyed their food but no one gave their food more then an 8 out of 10. I ordered Veal which I love but this one not so much! Veal was tough, piccata was salty. Heard about this place from a coworker but I live far, far away. Ended up working an event near here and got to try it out. It's in the Publix shopping lot at the far, far end (the red sign is hard to see). Dropped in for lunch. Walking in, place seems dreary. Long bar in front of you (no one was at it) and then a dividing wall with tables and booths. Bathrooms are down a long corridor past the kitchen. Atmosphere here is crap, at least for a Saturday lunch. That's the bad. The good - their prices, Garlic rolls and sauce. We ordered the jalapeño poppers with cheddar cheese to start (wasn't a fan, didn't like the cheddar). The garlic rolls went down fast. Moist and fluffy with just enough garlic and Parmesan in them. Service was great. I order the rigatoni with marinara sauce. The pasta was cooked perfect and I LOVED their sauce, it made my meal excellent! My son ordered the kids 9 inch pizza, and it was pretty large. He also said the pizza was very good (assuming the sauce) but I could smell the crust, and it actually made me hungry. Most of the meals here are under $8 for lunch, and food comes out fairly fast. Great stop for those on a budget and wanting Italian. Lord knows how Italian can be pricey. Make this a stop but don't expect anything with atmosphere. Make sure you have your own good company. read more

Most disappointing fettuccine Alfredo I have ever had. The sauce was watered down with no flavor whatsoever. The chicken was unseasoned and fried (non-traditional for this dish and not specified). I don't know how you can mess up rolls but they too were not fresh and the dough tasted as though it had been previously frozen. If you are craving Italian, Pamendis in Loganville or Provinos in Snellville are far better options. read more

We have eaten at Biba's numerous times. Owners and staff are always awesome. They checked on us during the meal to make sure everything was good. Restaurant is always clean and has a good music. The family loves the Stromboli, so when we went there last night, I was surprised that no one ordered it. We decided to get one to go, so we had something for lunch the next day. Was a little disappointed with it because it looked undercooked and the little bit I tried wasn't good. Went back to the restaurant and spoke with the owners. Without hesitation, they made it right.
