I was looking at cleaners around my area, and I came across this place. I immediately went to their website, and browsed through the prices, which seemed reasonable. Today, I went to pick up my 9 pieces and I was overcharged on everything. I told the front desk lady about this, showed her what the website had online, and she said she apologized but those prices were not updated. She stated that these prices were from a few years back, and she would communicate it to corporate. This is false advertisement, so I hope they do update them and stop lying to potential new customers. I see no reason to come here other than the location. I dropped off 8 pieces on a Thursday and they offered pickup on Monday. I asked for Friday and they said yes (?). I picked up on Saturday and they upcharged me for my cashmere sweater. Nowhere on the price list does it say cashmere is an up charge on sweaters. I said it's not clear and the rep said she agreed. I waited ten minutes for manager approval (frustrating) and they offered me store credit. I wanted my $ back for the up charge, not a store credit. I do not recommend coming here. Therefore, I am very picky at choosing my dry cleaners. Fortunately, I found it at Bibbentuckers! This location is convenient to home. At the drop of a hat, I can drive on over to drop off a stained item. Never had I had a problem of their promise date and time of when to pick it up! Being a consistent customer, I appreciate them having all my likes to my clothing and contact info on file. Dropping off is easy with last name and phone #! Forgetful I can be of dropping the items off and also yeah, forgetting being simply told when it is to pick them up. I now retreat in asking for a ticket when I drop my clothing off - problem solved! UPDATED: Mike from Bibbentuckers called to apologize after I posted this review. He was genuine and kind, and offered the kind of customer service I had been missing when I first called about the dress. While it turns out that this particular dress (despite the care label) qualifies as formal so the $50 fee was accurate, Mike said they should have made this clear upon drop-off of the garment to avoid any unhappy surprises. They are refunding the amount for this dress, which I appreciate. If you do choose Bibbentuckers, I recommend asking on drop-off what your total charge will be per item so you can make an informed decision about how much you're willing to pay for dry cleaning. Because of the apology and the good job they did cleaning my items, I'll consider coming back for standard cost items (blouses, suits). --- After a dry cleaner closer to home messed up two expensive items, I came to Bibbentuckers. Had a dress dry cleaned on my first visit with no issues for around $18. On my second visit, my husband dropped off a suit and two dresses. No one reviewed the pricing or told my husband that one of the dresses would require "special handling." I was anticipating the same cost I paid before, as no one made any mention of these items being "special." Lo and behold, when I went to pick up the items today, I was charged $50 JUST FOR ONE OF THE DRESSES. The total for 3 items was a few cents shy of $90. Perhaps this would have been understandable if the dress had unusual beading, sequins, a large tulle skirt or difficult stain -- but this was a totally standard simple long dress from David's Bridal, not a freaking Chanel (see pictures uploaded to this page). This one dry cleaning experience cost half what I paid for the stupid dress. The tag even said that, while dry cleaning was appropriate, it could also just be hand washed separately !! I called Bibbentuckers an hour after pickup once I realized how much that one item had cost. I was unhappy but not rude; the woman on the phone didn't even apologize. All she said was that it was a "formal dress" that required "special handling," despite the standard care instructions on the tag. Wow! What a disappointment! Just left this dry cleaners that calls itself a"premium" cleaners but can't deliver on anything! How is it that a so called "premium" cleaners can't clean a designer dress? A couple weeks ago 11/5 my husband took my designer dress which is part of my work uniform to get it cleaned along with all of his work suits. A few days passed and they called and left a voicemail letting us know that they wouldn't be able to clean my dress unless I gave consent so they'd have a release on file. My husband did not see the voicemail since they seem to never change his phone number to his current number. He has requested to change the number on his account for ages! They can't seem to update his contact info either. My husband went and picked up his items gets home and realizes that my dress hasn't been cleaned. He then returns to drop additional dry cleaning off and speaks to the employee about why the dress wasn't cleaned. The employee said that she needed a release on file to repair the small hole and to clean the dress. He gladly gave her the consent and was assured that the seam would be repaired and the dress would be cleaned upon his return. To his dismay, he inspected the dress at the cleaners this morning 11/24 and noticed that the dress still hadn't been cleaned or repaired. He immediately asked to speak to the person in-charge and she told him that they would not be able to clean the dress due to color loss risks. He replied with what about repairing the seam? She said they did not have a seamstresses on hand and that they could not fix it. Her statement was a total contradiction to what the other employee said a few days back. My husband checked his other phone again to see if they had called again to inform us for a second time that they would not be able to clean or repair my dress but there was no call. The lack of sincerity and concern for the position this has created for me has really disappointed my husband. They offered a $50 credit. It takes more than offering credit for their lack of reliability and I can't afford to jeopardize my preparation for my work. I'll be looking for a new cleaners with expertise in cleaning high end designer items. We spend over $600 a month on dry cleaning here but no more! Horrible place that will never own up to their mistakes! Stay clear. We were going here thinking they were reputable due to the pricing. We took very expensive clothing here and never imagined they would be so callous. Be warned, when they destroy your clothes, in our experience, they will not take responsibility. We are outraged at what they did and when asked for them to fix the problem with at least a refund - they refused. Outright refused to own up to the fact that they messed up. We offered to show them that we have no other dry cleaner for these clothes. The manager stated they will not refund and even had the nerve to say they think the clothing was manipulated elsewhere when it left their facility! Why on earth would anyone deliberately destroy their own clothing that cost a lot of money?! That is insane. We will be sharing this horrific experience on every social media platform available to warn other customers. Do NOT trust these liars with your expensive clothes. We are upset and disappointed by this. The damage done has caused a great deal of distress. It is truly unsettling how they get away with this. UPDATE: John, we already spoke with general manager Mike Wilson. He is the manager mentioned above that is refusing to remedy this nightmare whatsoever. He was rude and arrogant to top it off. He was extremely disrespectful. He originally said he would send the clothing to a lab for testing and then called back and said he decided against it and won't take any responsibility. He even had the nerve to accuse us of having the clothing manipulated. DO NOT TAKE CLOTHES OF VALUE HERE. This dry cleaner has ruined multiple clothing items of mine. The items in question have only ever taken to this Bibbentuckers' location. When I brought this to the attention of the General Manager, he simply stated that they must have been serviced elsewhere. He denied his cleaners caused the damage and refused any sort of compensation. In being a faithful customer, the last thing you ever expect is to be accused as the one who is damaging your own clothes. UPDATE: I was contacted by Corporate, which refunded me the amount charged for the cleaning. I will say they did a good good job cleaning the pants, but the person then hanging the clothes was sloppy and caused wrinkles. What was especially frustrating was the attempt by the person who does the suede cleaning to say it was because "that is how the pants were made." No, it is not; it is obvious the wrinkles are due to sloppy work. I am extremely disappointed with this place. I took a pair of synthetic suede pants here and paid $130 (yes, you read that correctly) for a cleaning. I will say that they cleaned them very well BUT when I inspected them, they did not hang them neatly on the hanger and the lay came back with a huge wrinkle on one leg. They told me the manager would take special care of them and would redo them. Just picked them up and the wrinkle is still there. Bloody ridiculous. Thanks for the $130 wrinkle, jack wagons. To start off, they asked me to do this survey by pointing to a link on my receipt. The link was wrong and Bitly gave me the bird. I figured it out - capitalization is important people! I have been using this location for 20 years now, shortly after I moved to Bryan Place and likely around the time it opened. With only a few exceptions (one being my tux shirt for my wedding), your clothes look GREAT, and don't shrink. The actual product is solid. Just don't expect to be appreciated or thanked as a customer. After 20 years I have received exactly one phone call, and it was over some problem with my cleaning about which I have long forgotten. When they offered American Airlines miles to their customers, I signed up and never got any miles they promised. I haven't ever received a thank you for being a customer letter - not even any coupons. And no one in 20 years has ever remembered me, not my name or face or anything. Add to the fact the drive-thru service is maddeningly slow (that giant carousel, I am sure), and I have no loyalty after 20 years. If a new cleaner moves into the area tomorrow that can get clothes looking as good without shrinking them, and can also remember by name and smile as they quickly retrieve my cleaning, I am gone. read more

I've repeatedly had poor experiences with Bibbentuckers. I've arranged multiple times for my items to be dropped off after dry cleaning, only for them to never arrive. Additionally, they do not contact you when your items will be running late or when they are unable to treat the items. After realizing multiple weeks have gone by without my clothes being returned, I had to call them only to be told they couldn't treat the garment. Not sure why they would hold onto it and not return it if that's the case. Would not recommend. read more

They lost a $200 Equipment shirt. They iron something wrong literally every time. They cannot be trusted to do even minor alterations such as shortening straps of a camisole. They turn whites to off whites. They occasionally fail to remove odors. They are expensive. I'm giving them 3 stars because I unfortunately have not experienced better here in Dallas. read more

My fiance and I have taken our clothes here for a while and don't really have any complaints. They are usually pretty quick about turnaround and have gotten solid service every time we've taken in our clothes. I love that we have a bag with our card and information on so we can drop off quickly. Every time I pull up, someone comes out to greet us and retrieve my items. It is a bit pricey, especially for wash and fold service. We will continue to go until we have any issues. read more

The other day I had the pleasure of experiencing a new type of dry cleaning with service that left me amazed. I had heard of Bibbentuckers in the past but used my building's cleaner by default. However, after the last few cleanings, having shirts come back with those brown cleaning lines and custom jackets being ill pressed, I decided it was time for a change. I visited the Lemon location and upon pulling up was immediately greeted before stepping out of my car by the front desk person. She asked for my name and was ready to take everything from me then and there. Since I had a ton of items I offered to help bring the items in. Once inside she asked me again for my name to pull my account up. I told her I didn't have one and that this was my first time. Immediately she changed from a returning customer drop off to a new account. She explained the stores process, gave me a new customer price sheet, and then explained the DELIVERY/PICK UP SERVICE. When I asked about cleaning and press process for the jackets, she explained how they will soft press and roll the lapel so that it is curved not creased. I returned the next day to pick up my items and upon pulling up was immediately greeted while staying in my car. She asked for my name and quickly brought everything out with receipts. When I returned home, I opened one of the suits that was cleaned and was very impressed. The jacket was perfect as if it was brand new again. I dropped off a pair of shoes to be shined and repaired. They promised me the shoes a week and a half out. When I returned two days after the promised date they told me the shoes were still out and would be back the next morning (on Saturday). I showed up Saturday morning to find that not only had they not shined the shoes as requested but they had replaced the Nike Air soles on my Cole Haan shoes with generic leather soles. I objected to the "repair" and the lack of shining. I was told that I could speak with the manager at 10am on Monday morning. I took my shoes with me and brought them back on Monday morning (still unworn since the "repair") and found that the manager, Diana, was running late and wasn't in. Lesharon, one of the employees, assured me that I could leave my shoes and she would hand deliver them to the repair place to get the correct soles put on the next day (they're closed on Mondays) and call me to let me know the status. Tuesday evening at 5pm I called the store because I had yet to receive a phone call. Neither Diana or Lesharon were in so Imelda helped me. She had gotten word from Lesharon that Diana was taking my shoes to Nordstrom to see about a solution to the wrong sole replacement and would call me later in the evening with an update. I explained to Imelda (who was the most helpful of anyone I dealt with) that while new, correct soles would be great, they had already kept my shoes for two and a half weeks and are now asking me to go longer without my shoes. I would be leaving in a week for two and a half weeks and I doubt I would have my shoes back in time. They should have called two and a half weeks prior, when I dropped them off, and told me they didn't have the correct soles. Additionally, I reminded her that the first service I requested, a shoe shine, had yet to be completed. The next morning I received a phone call from Lesharon telling me that Diana was informed that I can take my shoes to Cole Haan and get the correct soles put on there at a cost of $85. I was more than slightly irritated. Why would they expect me to come pick up my shoes that they had had for two and a half weeks only to take them to another cobbler and then pay the new cobbler to fix the mistake of the other? I explained to her that I was in the middle of something and would come to the store to speak with Diana directly in an hour and a half. When I arrived at the store the clerk told me that neither Lesharon, Imelda, or Diana were available. I had her call Diana on the phone who then proceeded to tell me that she was the one who had informed Lesharon to call me and tell me to take them to Cole Haan. Keep in mind this is the first I had spoken with Diana. She told me that she was unaware that the shoes had a special sole in them and she will know for the next time. I explained that I am not her guinea pig and she could clearly have seen that the soles were not simple leather by examining the markings on the bottom that said "Nike Air." Due to the time I had already been without my shoes and the fact that I was leaving in a week I requested a new pair of shoes. Her tone had not been pleasant throughout the phone call but at this point she became more angry (wasn't I the one being screwed over) and responded, "I am NOT buying you new shoes." I informed her of my plan to post on story and relay it in any way possible to which she responded flippantly. She told me she could talk to corporate if I'd like and I asked her for the number; I would call corporate. I'm still without correctly repaired shoes. DO NOT SEND ANY LEATHER TO THEM FOR REPAIR/CLEANING...GO AROUND THE CORNER TO KOSTA DINO'S SHOE REPAIR AT 4022 OAK LAWN ACROSS FROM EQUINOX!! I went to Bibbentucker's dry cleaners to have my Tiffany & Co. suede shoulder bag cleaned after it brushed up against my car and got dirt smudges across the front. I asked them how much it might cost and they estimated up to $75!!! Bibbentucker's said it's because they send all their leather to be cleaned to an outside place and have to charge what they get charged. So I told them to send it off and call me 1st BEFORE cleaning it and give me a specific quote....I wasn't about to spent that much on a few light smudges! 2 MONTHS PASSED and NO PHONE CALL FROM BIBBENTUCKER'S!! So I called them and they said it was ready. I asked "does that mean you already cleaned my bag?" and they said "yes". I was angry that they hadn't even approved it with me and expected me to pay $65!! So they said they could only give me 25% off and I had to pay $40!! BUT THE WORST PART WAS THAT MY BAG WASN'T EVEN CLEAN...IT LOOKED LIKE IT WASN'T EVEN TOUCHED!! I walked back in and asked for a refund and they said they couldn't because Dino's has already charged them. But they offered to send it back to Dino's and I said "what are they going to do differently to get rid of the smudges?" and they said we don't know but I would have to sign a waiver if my $1000 bag was ruined they would NOT BE RESPONSIBLE! THE MANAGER AND 2 ASSOCIATES SAID THIS and directed me to Dino's. So I went to Dino's where Frances, a very kind and helpful employee, greeted me and after a pleasant conversation with her, she GRACIOUSLY GAVE ME a piece of suede cleaning eraser because I told her I would like to try cleaning it myself. After taking Frances' advice on how to use the eraser, it took me 10 mins. to completely clean those smudges without damaging my bag! Frances also informed me that Bibbentucker's charged me 4x's what Dino's would have charged! So I don't think Bibbentucker's deserves to make that kind of profit off of work they didn't even do especially for their lack of customer service, poor communication and shady way of doing business ( I doubt they even sent my bag to Dino's due to the little effort it took from me to clean it). I hope it was worth $40 for a bad review Bibbentucker's...maybe next time you'll try not to ripe off your customers for a few bucks. As for Dino's, you can't find a MORE HONEST AND HIGHLY SKILLED SHOP. Frances is very knowledgeable, sweet as can be and will restore your leather pieces for a excellent price. Three stars for A-OK. No doubt, they do a great job, but so do other boutique cleaners. I cannot figure out why they charge a different amount on items. For example, I dropped off several suits and dresses and noticed each item itemized on my receipt. All dry clean items. They charged different amounts for each skirt and jacket...??? One jacket $15.00 another jacket $13.00. Each item is described on the receipt by brand so attention to detail truly exists, but am I paying for the admin with a college degree for itemizing my garments or the actual dry cleaning? You also get nice fancy clips to hold your skirts, which ultimately end up in the trash. Total for the day $198.00. This may explain the big smiles when you arrive. read more

They consistently loose Clothes and burn dress shirts saying it's manufacturers defect. How do 4 shirts with 2 different brands get burned on the seams on same visit? Guess the shirt manufacturers put timers on the seams like cell phone companies put in phones. Seems legit that the seams get burnt out from those 50 hour work weeks it's always pulling. Can I give no stars? Wow! I am done with Bibbentuckers. Supposedly, they are the best of Big D. Maybe there needs to be a recount. There have been three standout issues I have had with them. First, they were going to tailor a dress of mine. After paying far too much money for it to be done, I found out they never fixed it. No one mentioned it to me at pick-up. Great customer service if you ask me. Next, I brought in a few items to be cleaned over the holidays. Upon arrival, I find out one of my expensive tops was given away to another customer. After waiting patiently to hear back for one of the GM's...no phone call. Again, great customer service. Finally, I brought in a brand new dress that got a tomato stain on it (pretty simple to clean with the right machinery if you ask me) and they couldn't get it fully out. Thankfully I checked and sent it back. I will never go back there again other than to pick up my dress and missing shirt. Don't trust any nice clothes with Bibbentuckers. Poor service, expensive and they treat you like a large company does. As if losing you as a client means nothing. read more

Within minutes Bibbentuckers who he uses on a regular basis, towed his vehicle. I just read many online reviews that state many other people had the same experience. This place was great at one time. I went back but it has gone to crap. They have had to re-do all my clothes the last 3 times I have been there. They cant read English or just do not care enough about the customer to do it correctly. Today I get a charge for $66.00 against my card and I have not been in there since 08/05/15. Everyone that works here is very nice, but they may not give you all your clothes; or for that matter even clothes that actually belong to you. Which could be good or bad I guess depending on where you shop. They have called me to see if they accidentally gave me another person's clothes (which they hadn't). The final straw was going to pick up and only getting 2/3rds of what was dropped off. The rest of the clothes were there just not given to me, what if I hadn't noticed?!? I dropped off a few shirts and a dress to be dry cleaned for my engagement photo shoot a 4 days later. One dress had a small stain that I asked them to take care of. I got a message saying that my dry cleaning was ready. Upon pick up, they hadn't done anything with the dress, didn't know why, and were closed the next day. I had to hand wash it myself at home and got the stain out. What's the point a taking things to the cleaners?????? Never again! read more

My wife took her wedding dress here for a cleaning and preservation, and they seem to have done a pretty good job. The dress was clean and placed in and heirloom box (box with a window in the middle to view the dress). It was expensive for the cleaning and preservation, but what do you expect for a wedding dress. I was very displeased when I was charged for a removal of a button without my consent. If it is your policy to removed buttons from garment before you clean them, you really should notify the person first. I was not happy that they removed the button without asking me and then charging me for it. That sweater was not cheap! I think Madewell knows how to sew buttons on. read more
