I think I went in with higher expectations for this place. The service was excellent. The workers were quick to answer questions, take the order and offer water while I waited for my to go order. The food, I think I would do without the ton of salad I got in my bowl next time. I think there was so much salad and not enough rice that the ratio felt off. The lamb I got was really good though. The spicy tzatziki was different but I think I prefer the traditional instead. Next time I'll try the sandwiches and maybe it'll be a better ratio. read more

What an awesome addition to this area of the suburbs. Yeero Revolution offers well priced variations of gyros in large portions at a very reasonable price. Though it may seem unusual to dine next to a gas station, don't let that deter you from visiting this spot. The parking is plentiful, there is minimal cross traffic, and you get a full fast casual experience when you dine inside. In fact, the decor inside this restaurant is a bit nicer than average for a restaurant in this segment and the service is both quick and friendly. The food here was surprisingly good for me. Not only are the portion sizes large but the food is fresh, flavorful, colorful, and has good textures. In particular, the YR fries give a good mix of everything you could want in a dish. The fries are super crispy (even after 10 minutes), the meat is piled on generously, and the onions & green peppers are fresh flavorful. This is a fantastic comfort food for anytime you're craving something savory. The yeero flight is also an excellent way to try out their different meats, all of which are tender and flavorful. This is provided with a generous amount of sauce and condiments. Overall, worth a visit for a delicious meal if you're anywhere in the area. OK, my boyfriend and I came here for lunch and we were the only people eating food. The only other people were just gambling as there is a section that is over 21 for that in the restaurant. The food was adequate but the meat as the other reviews said was little pieces and considering that we were the only ones in there and I could see the guy slicing it not fries were OK. read more

Was feeling peckish this day and always was interested trying this Street fair spot when wanting to have a gyro's. Place was quite easy to access & convenient. Was extremely clean & well lighted. Service was top notch! I don't eat as much as I used to, so wanted just a Gyro with everything on. Friendly staff & easy to engage. Wanted to know if there's anything else I wanted with my order, but was not that hungry. Have to say I'll be returning again. We first had their food at as catering at a graduation party. I didn't know what I would expect when visiting their location at the Ricky Rockets in Buffalo Grove. I was thinking it would be a lot like the Buffalo Wild Wings Go next door which is mainly take out with a couple tables to dine in. However, when we arrived, we were the only people in the place and the owner was working the register. He was genuinely happy to see us and explain everything, They look at their food as traditional street food, so of course we needed to know about sauces and different dishes. We started with the saganaki bites. These are their take on mozzarella sticks instead being triangular and made with rich, Greek saganaki. You can choose your own dipping sauce between lemon aioli, tzatziki, revolution sauce, or a standard lemon (to squeeze over the top). The revolution sauce is their take on a tangy honey mustard sauce. Spoiler Alert: It's damn good sauce! My wife and I both got chicken bowls, but I took out all the fixins and left just the chicken and rice (with extra rice) and she had all the fixins left in (lots of veggies). We both loved our meals. And they give you so much of it that we both took food home. It's quite rare for me to bring food home, so I was happy to have this treat another day. Throughout the meal, we spoke with the owner and learned about his background, about the restaurant, how a lot of the recipes are his family's recipes, and more. I was excited to try out Yeero Revolution as it opened recently. My husband and I went there on a Tuesday evening. When we entered we were warmly greeted by the owner. We ordered the gyro flight with chicken, pork, and beef/lamb gyros in the flight. This was a great opportunity to try several flavors at once. I liked the beef/lamb the best but all the choices were good. All of the toppings and sides were plentiful, fresh and flavorful. We also ordered the YR fries, which are French fries topped with gyro meat, onions, tomatoes, green peppers, and Tzatziki sauce. The French fries were cooked fresh and stayed hot the whole time we were eating. This is a restaurant that I look forward to coming back to. I highly recommend Yeero Revolution! read more

I've been a fan since they were in Evanston, how exciting that they are now close to be again. When craving gyros, this is my go to for a quick meal. They are located in the strip right off of Lake Cook Rd by the gas station and the big car wash. There's plenty of parking and they have a big menu with tons to choose from. They recently opened and are still working out the kinks but the food is still as good as I remembered. I ordered the Chicago Yerro sandwich which has fries on it & is wrapped in a pita. The portions are huge and you're bound to be full no matter what. My husband got the Yeero fries which you got to choose what time of protein and sauce you want on it. I also wanted to try their crunchy pita which came with a large tub of tiziki to dip. I'm a sucker for sauces so it was a win for me. The food came out quickly and was super flavorful, and the staff was extremely kind and knowledgeable When you ask questions. Really good! This place was really good! I had been wanting to try this place for a while and yesterday, I was finally able to stop by, The inside of this place was big, bright and had a lot of natural light which was appreciated since it was a beautiful bright and sunny day. The lady who took my fiances order and my own order was nice. We were hungry so we ended up ordering a: spicy chicken Yeero meal, Chicago yeero meal, pork souvlaki and baklava cheesecake. When we came in, it was about an hour to an hour and half to closing time at 8 so there was a bit of a rush. The lady who took our order was nice but she did let us know that they no longer had any pork souvlaki so she asked if we were okay with chicken, we said yes. Due to the rush, our wait time was around 15-20 minutes. When we got our food, it looked delicious and tasted even better but the tray really reminded me of a school lunch tray. Anywho, my fiance and I both agreed that the yeeros were very tasty. The ingredients were fresh and the veggies had a nice crunch. The yeero meat was succulent, juicy and very tasty. Not too salty and had a nice kick of spice. My fiance enjoyed his tzatziki sauce on his yeero and I had the spicy tzatziki which added a nice punch to the meal, I really liked it. The fries weren't overdone but it wasn't anything spectacular. The yeeros were definitely the start of the show here. The cheese baklava was so good!!! It was decedent and creamy. Just the right amount of sweetness that would satisfy anyone's sweet tooth, really really good! A nutty flavor balanced with the creaminess of the cheesecake. Wonderful pairing! The only issue I had was that when we finally got our souvlaki, we were given a pork one instead of a chicken one which was interesting given that the lady who took our order said that they were all out. We didn't think anything of it so we had put the lemon on the skewer and we're going to bite into it and then the lady came and apologized telling us that she gave us the wrong skewer and took it back. It was very..interesting. I know it wasn't her fault and I know things can get busy but like..at least double check what you are serving your customers before you do it. What if we had eaten the skewer, would she have taken it back? Also like....you said you were out and then you gave us, most likely what was your last pork skewer by accident?!? Uhhhh, just not a good look, especially for a first impression. She was able to rectify the situation and gave us a chicken skewer which was good but honestly, one skewer is $7. That's a little steep in my mind for one skewer. I think next time we're around the area, we'll skip it. All in all, it was a pretty good experience despite the snafu. The decor is bright and clean. We would definitely come back again because the yerros (besides the skewer) was just too good to be missed. Highly recommend! read more

This just misses the mark in a lot of ways. The space is nice enough. The Chicago Gyro was room temperature and the pita was colder, like fresh out of a refrigerator. Edible, but that was about it. The revolution melt was nice and warm because they heat the sandwich to melt to the cheese at least. The flatbread or pita wasn't good quality. The fries were just ok. The saving grace is the sauce, which we agreed was the best thing on both dishes. Staff were friendly but at 30 dollars they aren't putting out a meal worth coming back for unfortunately. read more

Both times gyro meat was not hot. Pita not cooked long enough. Don't no why they aren't serving it off the skewer. They cut it off, then put in a container sitting. When you order they reheat it from the batch cut off. Not acceptable and won't return. No one knows how to cook any more. Can't stand food that's not hot. Numerous restaurants doing this. read more

Impromptu early lunch at Yeero Revolution in Buffalo Grove, (I was pumping gas and saw it) and I have to say it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked in, the super clean and tastefully decorated space as if I was in a contemporary eatery in Greece. The space filled me with confidence that I was about to enjoy something special, and I was absolutely right. The Yeero bowl I ordered was packed with incredibly fresh veggies, and every bite was bursting with flavor. What really stood out to me were the spectacular spices authentic, traditional Greek street food flavors that made the dish unforgettable. You can tell they take pride in using high-quality ingredients and staying true to the classic Greek experience. On top of that, the pricing was spot on, offering great value for the quality and portion sizes. Honestly, I could eat here a few times a week, no question. Ambiance is nice. Clean and neat. People are great. Friendly. Even offered me a drink while waiting for the food. Very nice of the manager. The food: 2 chicago gyros, 1 fry, 1 small soup was $33. I think it's overpriced for the small size of sandwiches. The gyro meat is flavorful. The pita was barely heated. Practically out of the bag and not grilled but I saw them put them on the grill. Strange. The sandwich was essentially room temperature after being wrapped in foil for 6 minutes on drive home. Such a disappointment. Last time I had it I came home late and I realized that my wife reheated the pita and gyro meat in our air fryer and it was awesome. I should have done that again but why should I have to when I picked it up and drove 2 miles home to eat immediately. The meat itself was cut in small shavings not nicely sliced pieces. It was like bottom of the barrel trimmings. Not impressed. Tzatziki sauce was excellent. Greek egg lemon soup - fair but not thick as some others in area. Lacking much in texture with limited rice and a few small chicken chunks. Flavor was a 3/5. I shared the fries and they were just ok. I would not order them again. Thin and not too crispy. Room temperature also. I'm not sure it's worth heading back with such good choices within the area for gyros. Sorry to say. Turn up the heat! Grill the pita. read more

I have been meaning to try Yeero Revolution and so glad I did. Was warmly greeted when I walked in for carry out. The Greek salad was so fresh and the chicken added (kept on side) was so delicious. The dressing on side is simple and good. I got three meals of food with the salad chicken and a sides of falafel and Tzatsiki. The salad stayed fresh for days. Can't wait to return. Nice establishment and very friendly staff. Wife and I both ordered the "Chicago Yeero". We were both underwhelmed with the quality and quantity you receive for the prices charged. Also, some of my french fries were literally cold to the touch as if they had not even been placed in the fryer and that's unacceptable. I see a lot of high marks so it's possible we visited on an off night. I may revisit again in a few months to see if things have improved. Being a gyros connoisseur, I have had much better gyros at plenty of other establishments throughout cook county. read more

I'm going to preface this with the fact that I waited over 20 minutes for my food and to be fair, I was told it would take that long even before I ordered. That said, I would wait the 20 minutes again for the food if given the option. The lamb, chicken, and beef gyro plates were very flavorful and loaded with meat and veggies. Definitely gave a distinct Greek flair compared to other more Middle Eastern gyro options in the area. The service was great and the owner was unnecessarily apologetic for the wait... the food was worth it!
