Kibbeh is great! Takes 15 minutes to make.

We have been here a few years ago and remember that the food was great so we decided to stop in tonight because we were in the area. My husband ordered the combination platter and it was filling and delicious. I ordered the lentil soup and two falafel and one kibbeh. Not many restaurants serve kibbeh anymore... I was so excited to see it on the menu! It was delicious! The line was long but it moved very quickly. We will definitely be back again! The restaurant is large and very clean!

Yesterday I came to pick up my order. I ordered through their website. Oddly enough my order was to the Glenview location not the one in wheeling. Thankfully the cashier was able to make my order at the wheeling location instead. They have the best customer service and the ability to make my order relatively fast even though it was ordered to the wrong location. I was delighted by the items I got which were great portions and were delicious. The restaurant is fairly busy but they are great for take out.

I've grown up going to the Pita Inn in Skokie, but since moving to Wheeling this location is much more convenient. I often visit during lunch during the week and grab their business special lunch. It's such great deal for SO much food. It's enough for 2 meals and you get a little bit of everything. Once you walk in they have arrows on the ground still from the pandemic but it's actually super helpful when they get busy because it keeps folks in line. Once you get up to the counter and order, you let them know if you're dining in or ordering for carry out. The food comes up at the counter when your number is called and you're on your merry way. The food is great and consistent for the price. Fast and easy if you're in a rush, and the staff is great at communicating and getting you things you need.

ordered the chicken shawarma entree for dinner via uber eats pick up and loved it! there is a generous amount of chicken and the sauces are great. the hot sauce is pretty hot but i love mixing it with the tahini. my husband got the combination feast and he is a fan! his favorite of the protein is the beef. can't forget the pita - i wish there was more of it so i can fit all the chicken/rice/lettuce into them. this place will definitely be a go-to meal spot!

We live nearby and pick up dinner from Pita Inn regularly. Even when there are lines, service is quick and food is consistently good. Salads from here are a favorite of mine, as they contain more than standard offerings. Chicken, rice, falafel and hummus are also favorites.

Casual ambience, quick service, and good food. First time here ordering the combination feast with a side of chicken Schwarma sandwich, fries and lentil soup. Everything was good. The place is clean and busy. I enjoyed the pita, nice and warm. I would eat here again if in the area.

On the expressway on my way to visit family and noticed a Pita Inn as I was passing through Wheeling. Prior, I visited another Pita Inn location in Skokie, on several occasions for lunch and dinner. It had been years since I last ate there so I decided to check them out. After reviewing the menu, I noticed the same menu options as the other location. I ordered the Combo Plate, included shish kabob, shawarma, kifta kabob, grilled chicken and falafel with rice and a salad. The meal tasted just like I remember.....Delicious. The beef was cooked well and tender. The chicken was prepared with Mediterranean seasoning and spices. I was a huge plate, only enjoyed half, the rest I had taken to go. I didn't realize there was more than 1 Pita Inn location, glad I came across it. Yummy

Pita Inn, possibly the best mediterranean restaurant in Chicago suburbs. If this isn't on your usual palate, I highly recommend you experience it at least once in your life time. Ordering the pita and hummus is a MUST. The pita is served warm/mildly toasted and goes great with their variety of hummus choices. I normally stick with the regular hummus and you cannot go wrong with this. Their beef and chicken shawarma are full and flavor and incredibly fresh. We ordered the spicy chicken entree for the first time which had a powerful kick. The entrees come with rice which is VERY filling. Sandwich's are also incredible but don't come with rice unless requested. Also tried falafel for the first time EVER and was pleasantly surprised. This is a meatless option and tastes amazing. Crispy fried outside with warm filling, truly delicious. Overall, I love Pita Inn. Can you tell? We've been coming here for decades and their consistency and quality has stayed the same.

At the end of the meal, my husband wanted a coffee and the waitress said there was no coffee and the machine was broke. Service was ok. Waitress forgot our drink. Not very attentive. Dining area is small but cute. They are planning to expand the dining area so there really isn't much of a market anymore. Prices are pretty high in comparison to most Turkish/middle eastern restaurants. They do give you yummy bread and Babaganoush. I want to try it again in hopes that other menu items are available.

My Shrimp Kalamakia was nicely charred and seasoned, I squeezed some lemon and it provided a nice tang over the seasoning. The Lemon rice pilaf was soft and cook just right and was nicely balanced. I had one Saganaki Ball and it was delicious. My son had the Pork Gyros said it was really good and the Tzatziki sauce was creamy and rich with flavors. As it turned out, it was just light rain the entire evening on Father's Day, but we didn't regret the change at all. Although the restaurant was not filled to capacity, it was bustling with many families celebrating Father's Day, creating a festive vibe. It's the first time that we met the owner, Daniella, who's so warm and welcoming. She invited us to choose from available tables in three different dining areas. We selected the table right by the lounge that had a large TV, homey décor, couch and cocktail table. It was also right by the big window overlooking the small and charming front patio. Our server, Chis, was very friendly, pleasant, and attentive. I ordered a Lemonade ($3), my husband and daughter each enjoyed a glass of Mer Soliel Reserve Chardonnay (2 for $26). We shared a Grilled Octopus ($22) which was cooked to perfection. The warm, lightly charred pita points paired well with the creamy and tasty beet hummus. I had a Slow Roasted Lamb Shank ($39) which was tender and full of flavors. It was a very generous portion that I shared a big piece with my husband; and still had leftovers to take home. It made a delicious lamb sandwich for my next lunch. My husband liked his Spiked White Fish ($29) so much last time that he ordered it again. Our daughter enjoyed her order of Rigatoni Sausage ($23), another generously portioned dish that she couldn't quite finish. By the end of the meal, we were too full for individual desserts, so we shared a Crème Brûlée ($8), which was the perfect sweet ending. All in all, it was a wonderful dinner. Crispy, cheesy, garlicky. Need I say more? Get some extra garlic on the side if you wanna take it up a notch. Fried halloumi: 4/5. These are like a soft mozzarella stick, so tasty. I did come after the normal lunch hour rush, but it was still a little busy. I ordered a falafel sandwich which I was really looking forward to eating a pita, with lettuce and tahini sauce. When my number was called, I walked up to the counter and asked where my food was and apparently someone took my item. They said they will make it again and since I was in a hurry, I grabbed the item and didn't double check what was inside :( When I finally got to my destination, I was given just falafels :( They were decent, but when I was expecting something else, that's why I give this place a 3 stars.
