Food is amazing. Allison is great. I came second time just because I had really good experience with her. She is so polite and kind! I absolutely loved it!

Great stop off after running an errand near the Wisconsin border. Glad to see a Bibibop and the service was good here and the standard of Bibibop was like other places I've been too, good, quick, accommodating service and excellent food that doesn't disappoint. It was great to come here at the beginning of December where they busted out the Christmas tunes that gave the place a nice holiday ambiance. My parents who were with me also appreciated the quality and quantity of the food, great job Bibibop for maintaining your quality of food and service consistently at whatever location we're at. A kind server came and offered us lids to take home what's left. Kind attention to details.

Looking for something healthy? This is soooo good! This place has fast service and the flavors are very unique. The sweet potato noodles are delish, highly recommend!

I've been to BIBIBOP a few times and always love the different combinations of bowls I get. This time we went in a late dinner. The staff was super friendly and greeted us right away. I tried their Korean beef with half purple rice/ sweet potato noodles. That base combination is undefeated. I chose a few of their hot options, and among their cold options, I got carrots, corn, egg, cheese, cucumbers, cabbage. They have a nice size selection of what you can include in your bowl. For my sauce I got their yum yum sauce and gochujang sauce. We dined in, the establishment was clean. There is plenty of parking in the lot. I love that they offer free miso soup with your meal. Unfortunately, because we were in late, they didn't have anymore of the passionfruit lemonade, which is my go to. To end our dinner we had the snickerdoodle cookie and it was oh so tasty. A great way to end a fantastic meal.

This should be at the top of your list for a quick and easy lunch while out and about in the Libertyville/Vernon Hills area. A "build your own bowl" style fast food restaurant. The food is fresh and high-quality. Lots of yummy vegetable toppings to add to your bowl and great vegetarian or vegan options. I got a small bowl with the spicy chicken and it was enough food for two meals!

Absolutely massive bowl completely filled (the original size)

We got two original bowls and two cookies tonight. We both couldn't believe how huge the portion size was of the bowls. They have a variety of options including tofu, kimchi, noodles, etc. the sauce comes on the side which is was nice as my husband and I combined our sauces. They also have an app where you can earn points and super easy to order from. The only fast casual restaurant in the area that is strictly GF; two thumbs up.

Fresh options - build your own tasty bowl! We were really impressed with the fully customizable bowls at BIBIBOP Asian Grill in Vernon Hills. You choose your proteins, bases, toppings and sauces or go with the Chef Curated Bowls. There are three sizes--original, small or the new size--Bibicup, which is a lighter portion with 1 base, 1 protein, 4 toppings and one sauce. This is set up like Chipotle-- you place your order at the counter and pick your ingredients while they assemble your bowl. I went with the Bibicup, filling it with greens, sesame broccoli and topped with Korean BBQ beef. I thought the size was more than enough, it was overflowing and it certainly conquered my hunger. The ingredients were crispy and fresh and the sesame ginger sauce was nutty and savory. The beef was tender and nicely seasoned. My friend chose a small bowl and added sweet potato noodles and organic tofu. They were really impressed and compared it to a restaurant in DC they frequented, Seoul Spice. The size was really satisfying and they took the leftovers home. I really liked the variety of healthy options, such as different sizes, healthy assortment of fresh prepared veggies, the option to add different sauces and especially since calorie counts were provided. The dining area was clean and well spaced. Flowers on the tables were a nice touch. Bathrooms were clean and the staff was efficient and friendly. I would take off one-half star because we visited during dinner, and though the staff was working hard, they needed some additional help.

Our bowls, and my hibiscus lemonade, which was really great. I refilled and took it home, and enjoyed it the next day.

A great place for a tasty, quick Asian bowl. I chose the cauliflower rice as my base (yum!), one of five choices, as did my husband. There was a small up-charge for this, but it was well worth it. I had the chicken as my protein, and he had the spicy chicken. Mine was very good, and he liked his, too. The toppings are added similar to a Chipotle or Subway, where you go along the line and tell them what you want. There are several choices of hot toppings (e.g. potatoes, broccoli, bean sprouts), and several choices of cold toppings (e.g. cheese, corn, cucumber). I thought it was interesting that bean sprouts were a hot topping, and corn was a cold topping. I would have expected the opposite, but they were both good. At the end, you choose up to two different sauces. I tried the ginger teriyaki and the sesame ginger, and the combination of the two was flavorful without being overpowering. Parking outside is ample and easy, the restaurant was spotless, and the staff was very friendly. We're looking forward to going back and trying it again, and are hoping one will open even closer to our home before very long.

We came by for dinner after shopping nearby and wanted a healthy option but also was craving Asian style food. We remembered that bibibop just opened up here and decided to come by and try. This used to be Qdoba's location but they renovated and it is so much brighter. There is plenty of parking and it was quick to get our food. When we walked in, we mentioned it was our first time trying the food. The staff helped walk us through and made various recommendations on their favorite items. I ended up getting an original bowl with half streamed rice, half sweet potato noodles, broccoli, bean sprouts, corn, kale, egg, carrots, and steak. They also had a variety of sauces to pick from. I got the teriyaki sauce and the yum yum sauce on the side to try. And yum yum it was! They also had coke fountain drinks, but my favorite factor was that they had so ice tea and lemonade options. I already can't wait to come back and try other variations, and maybe one of their curated bowls!

    Opening day!

We have been counting down until Bibibop opened in Vernon Hills. And we are not disappointed!! Think of this place like Chipotle for Asian food. Fresh, hot bowls where you decide what you want in them. You pick a base - super greens to purple rice and sweet potato noodles. Yum Then toppings, both hot and cold, and sauces. With two teenage boys, you never know what's going to hit. And bibibop has quickly proven itself a hit! It's also dedicated gluten free, which is awesome for families with Celiac. But if you're not gf, you won't miss a thing. Honestly, if I didn't tell you, you wouldn't have even known this restaurant is completely gluten free. The eating area is super casual but comfortable with sit with your friends/family. But you can just as easily order to go or use their app to preorder and pick up when you arrive.

This is a wonderful restaurant that serves fast casual Asian food inspired by S. Korean cuisine. Their motto is to Eat Well, Be Well. They offer 100% gluten-free, freshly made food (not canned or processed). Their specialty is their bowl dishes with a base of either rice, salad or sweet potato noodles. This location is their first Corporate store. You can customize your own bowl or choose a preset Chef recommended bowl as listed on their menu. The rice choices are either white rice or purple (made with a mix of white & black rice). I like to get a bowl with a base of salad and/ or sweet potato noodles. Then I add loads of veggies from their variety of offerings, eggs, choice of protein (usually spicy chicken and/ or steak) and choice of sauces. Voila - there you have a hearty bowl of delicious goodness. Yum! They also offer miso soup, couple of items for dessert (coconut pudding, etc.) and refreshing drinks variety that includes three different lemonade types and there types of cold teas. I enjoy BIBIBOP's food and look forward to going back there. Their prices are reasonable, the service is good and the food is tasty. Definitely give them a try if you haven't had their food before.

I ordered a bowl with super greens and grains, half steak & half spicy lamb meatballs, and assorted toppings of my choice. They had q nice variety of fountain drinks to choose from. The service was quick and good. My build your own bowl concoction was perfect in taste. I managed to get the appropriate mix of toppings whose flavors mixed in well with the base and proteins. The portion size of the bowl was good as well. Disgusting staff and customer service…read more I arrived at the Vernon Hills location at 9:35 PM with my wife after not having eaten all day. I was fully aware the restaurant closed at 10:00 PM, but I still had 25 minutes before closing. When I walked in, I was immediately met with a nasty look and no greeting. Instead, I was asked what I needed. I was then told they were "pretty much closed" because everything had already been cleaned up and put away. I told them I wanted the Pick Two with a salad and a sandwich. They had nothing but an attitude and clearly had no motivation to make the food. One of them grabbed a to-go container and just assumed I wanted it to go without even asking me. At that point, I simply said, "Just forget it. I'll go somewhere else." It's absolutely disgusting how a business or its employees could treat a customer like this. If you're open until 10:00 PM, customers should be able to order until 10:00 PM without being made to feel like they're a burden. They're lucky my wife was with me to keep me from escalating the situation further because it would have gotten much worse. The chickpea and vegetable soup was packed with vegetables and had a flavorful broth. The ambiance is nice, calm and decorated for Valentine's Day which made me smile. It was light and airy, the decor and vibe I got was similar to a Corner Bakery (R.I.P) and Panera Bread. When we go the counter, the cashier was super nice and we explained to her that it was our first time here and she was kind enough to give us some time to look through the menu. My bf ended ordering a BLT sandwich with avocado and then the chicken dumpling soup on the side. I ended up ordering a New Yorker sandwich with the Kickin Crab Chowder soup on the side. Since we were dining in, we chose a booth and the cashier said that our food would be brought to the table when ready which we were fine with. In a matter of moments, they brought the food out. My bf's BLT looked like a typical BLT but we knew where the action laid is if the bacon was crunchy because (....iykyk...). As soon as he bit into it, (drum roll), the bacon was soggy which brought the whole taste of the sandwich down. As bright and fresh as the sandwich looked, the soggy bacon was a no go. My bf was disappointed as was I but he was hungry so he ate the entire sandwich. As far as the soup went, my bf said it was bland which neither more salt or more pepper could save. As for me, my soup was way too salty and just tasted...off. When I think of seafood and chowder, I think thick and flavorful, this was neither. As a fellow seafood lover, it was almost too salty and then too fishy (...never thought I'd ever say that). Same goes for my sandwich. Although piled high with pastrami and corned beef, I wasn't too much a fan of the taste of the bread or the meat. The pastrami was peppered with too much pepper and then the corn beef just didn't taste fresh. We ended our meal with the Godiva chocolate cheesecake and that was the hit of our meal. Rich, succulent and tasty...it was absolutely delicious! Overall, I wasn't too much impressed with the food. It is a bit steep in price but I mean hey! You never know what like and don't like if you don't try. Maybe one day we'll come back and try some other sandwiches but I don't think it will be anytime soon.
