For the things I ordered (including a bulgogi), they came out pretty fast. So even if you order to-go on the spot, it's not a long wait. Overall, quality and price are very reasonable. Adding meat to your kimbap is a $2 surcharge. It included spinach, carrots, takuan (yellow pickled daikon), and sesame seeds. Yelp pictures show egg as well, but I had it twice and didn't get egg either time. I really liked it the first time, but maybe I was just really hungry that day. Second time thought it was just okay. Good portions, no sesame oil brushed on top (at least neither time I ordered it). Also really liked the japchae, thought it was well seasoned and balanced (not too many or too little vegetables). SPACE// Simple, but clean and bold, bright colors. Mostly counter seating and maybe 3-4 small tables towards the back. Okay if it's just you and a couple friends, but it'll be difficult accommodating a big group. SERVICE// Okay. Quick. Walk in, order at the front counter, then seat yourself. Menu is a little all over the place. There's a paper menu, but there are also pictures along the wall adjacent to the register, as well as a written sign hanging above it. We had it delivered. It was delicious!!! The only reason it got 3 instead of 5 is that they gave us regular gyoza instead of veggie gyoza. My daughter is a vegetarian and ate a few bites before realizing there was pork in the food. That's just unacceptable! Also, the owner accepted this review at four stars with no apology for sending non-vegetarian gyoza. Downgraded to three stars. read more

I thought it was overall really fresh but the oil was overdone. But the noodles, bokchoy, rice, etc were well made and fresh! CONS: * I could have eaten a littttle more food but then again I always feel that way & it was still very filling! * I would have liked the tofu more firm, to be cooked better/crispier..I wasn't impressed. * Oily. enough said, it was not the worst but still a tad overdone with the sesame oil. Delicious Gogi bibimbap! The Korean ajumas making the food were straight out of Seoul, where I lived for 2 yrs. The bibimbap was authentic, though served on a plate, instead of a traditional bowl. Fresh and good korean food. Coming to portland away from NYC, I need some good korean food to make me feel safe and comforted. We ran into this place on our way to Salt and Straw. The menu is pretty simple with 3 choices of Korean dishes like Subway style of preparation. Price comes with salad and soup for around 7 to $9 and I think it's cheap considering tax free portland. this reminds me of how expensive NYC is. this review is for their bibim bap ... the korean girl behind the counter enthusiastically promoted it to us I was a bit skeptical ordering it as i have had my share of bibambap from korea and LA to be a decent judge of both good and bad ones. Its simplisticity means what makes it good is the quality of each of the ingredients that make upthe bibimbap ie the meat, spinach, egg, bean sprouts, carrots and radish. Even though the presentation was a bit off without the traditional stone bowl, the dish came nicely assembled (see pix) and had a nice aroma of sesame oil. The owner provides the bibimbap sauce (gochuchang) along with their house speci al sauce. i didnt really need the house sp sauce and as far as i can tell it had a strong garlic taste to it. The hostess/cashier is a sweet Korean lady who was patient and helpful, while my husband and I were trying to decide on your choices. I ordered the bibimbap & Kim bap. My husband ordered the spicy bul go gi. Everything was delicious! The bibimbap and spicy bul go gi was definitely as yummy as the ones in LA! However, the Kim bap wasn't as flavorful as the ones I'm used to in Sacramento. You definitely need to dip them in the house-made spicy sauce. Overall, we recommend this place. This review is a bit overdue, since I visited Portland in November, but Bibi2go is a solid Korean food option in a cool, shopping-central part of town. What really stood out to me was that it is a family-run restaurant, and the service is amazing. They were playing K-pop music videos, and my friend wanted to know which song they were playing, and the cashier (daughter of the owner) wrote it down for us on a post-it note after our meal. So much food for the price too! I got the spicy bulgogi (it wasn't too spicy) and my friend got the spicy ramen. I do wish they served soondubu though. We were visiting from San Francisco, so we were craving Asian food during our trip and this hit the spot. A friend brought me here after walking around the shops on 23rd. It's kind of a little hole-in-the-wall, with a little counter space and some small tables. What it lacks in room, it makes up for in kindness and deliciousness. The women behind the counter were so nice and I felt like they really cared about the food they made. I had some sort of meat burrito with rice, and it was so huge I could barely finish it there. They had about 5 different sauces in squirt bottles to enjoy. I just really liked this place. There aren't many tables but we were lucky to find an item table for the four of us without waiting. The bibimbap and bugulgi were terrific.
