I decided at the last minute that I was in the mood for Thai and as always Lemongrass did not disappoint. Their ordering system is super easy, you order online and pay and they text you when ready. Super easy and quick. We started with tom yum soup, it had shrimp and was great flavor. Then we had an order of summer rolls. I could put that peanut sauce on everything. Then we shared the rare beef salad. I asked for mild because when I get it as is ( spicy) my nose and eyes don't stop leaking. Mild was perfect. Next time I might try mild plus. Imagine not having fried tofu as an option. Never have I ever been to a Thai restaurant where that was not an option. Yes it used to be. They pretended covid was the reason why, and that was six years ago. What's your excuse now? This establishment has had my favorite dishes for around 15 years. Somehow, after handing the business down to their children, they've made cheap substitutions. Who would have guessed? It's a shame, this was my favorite spot for so many years. On a brighter note, the pineapple fried rice is still unique in comparison to other establishments. I don't even bother ordering that elsewhere after making so many attempts to find something similar. Edit: I think I was a bit harsh because Lemongrass also has always had my favorite pad thai and not having tofu as a protein choice was a huge blow to me. Stopped for a to go lunch. The area was clean, bright , and straight-forward on where to order. The menu had a variety of items. They had an amazing kunvh studied that even applies on weekends. For the lunch straight-forward, which is about only $13.95, You get a choice of listed items for each category: an app, an entree, and a drink. I got the thai eggroll, the entree that's like drunken noodles, and the thai coffee. I also ordered a side of tom kha soup. The egg roll and dipping sauce was perfectly cooked, the noodles were so tasty and the soup was good. The Thai cute was tasty, it's a combo of the coffee and a sweet cream. What a good little pick me up. The girl at the cashier stand was very nice and helpful. The wait was only a few minutes. The boy that brought it out for me was very nice too. The other customers were friendly and we had a good chatwhile I waited. They said they also come about 30 min from where they live to get Thai food this place. Will be back! read more

Always a story from me! Years ago, my partner in dining and I tried this place; he didn't like it, I was indecisive. But with him, if HE didn't like it, you were done. Fast forward to about a month ago when a friend was going to be nearby and wanted to try it. I had taken the time to look over the menu and saw the lunch specials, which include salad or soup or a spring roll, your entree and a drink. We arrive with my youngest granddaughter in tow because I saw they have mac and cheese as a child's choice, and since it didn't come with a drink I let her have mine since I mostly drink water. That day we made a HUGE mistake by trying out a couple of the appetizers before our food came out, the chicken satay (just okay imo), the crispy fried noodles (strangely enough very good, since they taste very fresh and it's almost like they use fresh oil) and the shrimp shumai (I really liked these, but my friends said he'd had better, but my first try, so good to me!), so then our starters come out, soup for him and the salad with ginger dressing for me. By now, we're full.....yep, as I said, we didn't need all that food! That first trip I'm unsure what main he got, but he got the soup with the shrimp in a clear broth and he must like it because he has gotten it every time since. The salad is just a salad but it's really fresh and crisp and that dressing is good. I got the yellow curry as my main, but too full to enjoy it. I ate it for dinner that night though! I've tried the yellow curry, the Kee Mao noodles, and yesterday went for the Pad Kra Prow, and let me say, I'd get any of those again, plus I'd like to try the green curry............maybe the pineapple fried rice........life is hard when you have to choose.............I mean, why can't I get them all and be miserably stuffed? As an FYI, I get the unsweetened tea as my beverage when there and he gets the Thai coffee. Their unsweetened tea is good, I add one of those bad for you sweeteners, Splenda. Obviously the Thai coffee and tea you don't get refills.........but how you can drink more than one of those coffees is beyond me....................I'm just going to stuff my face with the food! read more

Was on that side of town wanted some Pad Thai! Walked in order. I have a sever nut allergy. Specified I had a nut allergy and no peanuts on my pad Thai. Drove home 20 mins in traffic to dig in and the first bite was grossly and tasted like a peanuts. My mouth and throat started tingling, and I threw up!!! So I started to dig through my food. And there was a peanut in my food. Called and spoke to the manager who handled it poorly. She tried to argue with me that whole peanuts aren't even by the crushed peanuts at the restaurant?? So I had to put my clothes back on and drive back 20 minutes. For her to then apologize after showing her a peanut in my food and refunded my money. Thank God I didn't keep eating or I world have spent the night at the hospital! Woke up this morning pissed writing this review thinking about calling a lawyer. They could have killed me with their negligence! Won't ever eat there again. That has never happened to me after specifying I have a nut allergy. read more

Lemongrass Thai has been around for years. The last time (before yesterday) that I ate there was back in 2007-ish. It was delicious then and delicious now, with great service. This is a great spot for lunch or dinner-they have a wonderful lunch menu, each dish only $13.90 and includes your choice of an appetizer and drink. The appetizer options included a spring roll and Tom Ka Gai soup. Both were excellent, but the soup was outstanding. Dinner prices are reasonable as well. They do have a limited wine/beer menu. The seating area is small, but cozy and informal. There are a few tables for patio/outdoor dining if the weather is decent. It is located in a strip mall, so the "patio dining" is not private- but still relatively quiet. Whether you want to dine in or takeout, I highly recommend this Thai restaurant. read more

We ordered online. I would like it if they rated how spicy the different dishes are, because I ordered something that ended up being way too spicy for me. It was the Panang Duck, which was too chewy. It tasted like skin, not meat. I'm sure some of their dishes are ok, but the online menu doesn't give one an idea of how spicy it is. read more

This restaurant is so cute and intimate. They had soft music and ambient lighting. It is perfect for a couple or date. They have a fairly steady stream of takeout orders and so i was able to get a sense of there usual customer base which seems to be older. I say this because I realized in hindsight I should have asked for more spice and different veggies. The flavor of my meal was excellent, but I tend to be more adventurous. I don't think there regulars are the adventurous sort. Moral of my story ask if you want something more adventurous or spicy. My husband got the duck and he ate his and finished mine. It's a small restaurant so the ambiance is intimate. We ordered a curry, a noodle and a stir fry. The food was freshly made and the presentation was very good. The panang curry was on point. The grilled duck stir fry was good but I would have preferred to order the fried duck instead. The pad woon sen noodles were good on flavor but the execution could have been better. Lots of chicken but needed some additional noodles. Overall the food is very good and like anywhere else you just need to order the dishes that you eventually will prefer. What a wonderful experience. We came on a Saturday evening at 6 for the first time. The waitress was probably the most friendly server we've ever had. We had our toddler with us which is sometimes an anxious experience and she was so sweet to him. It was a small restaurant with many people but they were able to still seat us right away. Everyone who came in while we were there was able to be seated right away. The menu had many options, I went with the traditional pad Thai. I believe the default comes with shrimp but I asked for chicken instead. Hubby got the beef panang dish. While they worked on the entrees they brought our salads with a delicious ginger dressing (there's more dressing options) and fried noodles. The fried noodles came with a sweet and sour sauce that was divine. I had to stop myself from eating too many because I was already getting full before our entrees came. The pad Thai was very good! It came with a sliced lemon. It was perfectly flavored with the right amount of sauce, not dry. It was a big portion and I had to bring home leftovers that I can't wait to demolish. The beef panang dish was amazing. The flavor really surprised me with how great it was and it was saucy which is a plus. The waitress came and checked on our toddler a few times and actually helped him eat his vegetables. He got a chicken dish with rice, broccoli, and carrots. He ate almost his whole plate- why can't he do that at home?! I can't wait to go back. We came for my birthday dinner and I truly picked the right place. But somehow I like the chocked tasted with their peanut dressing. Pad kee ew - stir fry noodle with eggs and chicken. Just like drunken noodle. Very good flavor. Pineapple fried rice - good portion size, I didn't care much for the pineapple which is out of a can. My son said it's too sweet. But the fried rice has a good flavor. I got take out here for lunch and hands down it was one of the best pad see ew dishes I've had in the area. The noodles were not rubbery at all and the broccoli was cooked perfectly. The only downside was the Thai iced coffee which both looked weird and tasted weird. Maybe they were just having an off day with the coffee but my food was wonderful. read more
