Tom Fried Thai Egg Rolls Tom Ka Gai 402 Kee Mao Noodle

Stopped for a to go lunch. The area was clean, bright , and straight-forward on where to order. The menu had a variety of items. They had an amazing kunvh studied that even applies on weekends. For the lunch straight-forward, which is about only $13.95, You get a choice of listed items for each category: an app, an entree, and a drink. I got the thai eggroll, the entree that's like drunken noodles, and the thai coffee. I also ordered a side of tom kha soup. The egg roll and dipping sauce was perfectly cooked, the noodles were so tasty and the soup was good. The Thai cute was tasty, it's a combo of the coffee and a sweet cream. What a good little pick me up. The girl at the cashier stand was very nice and helpful. The wait was only a few minutes. The boy that brought it out for me was very nice too. The other customers were friendly and we had a good chatwhile I waited. They said they also come about 30 min from where they live to get Thai food this place. Will be back!

Lemongrass Thai has been around for years. The last time (before yesterday) that I ate there was back in 2007-ish. It was delicious then and delicious now, with great service. This is a great spot for lunch or dinner-they have a wonderful lunch menu, each dish only $13.90 and includes your choice of an appetizer and drink. The appetizer options included a spring roll and Tom Ka Gai soup. Both were excellent, but the soup was outstanding. Dinner prices are reasonable as well. They do have a limited wine/beer menu. The seating area is small, but cozy and informal. There are a few tables for patio/outdoor dining if the weather is decent. It is located in a strip mall, so the "patio dining" is not private- but still relatively quiet. Whether you want to dine in or takeout, I highly recommend this Thai restaurant.

Good Thai food. Good service. You can pick your level of cury heat, spice. A must go to place, if you like Thai food.

I was hungry I took a bite. Great flavor. If you like spice ask for 2 or higher. Beef Pen Beef Panang

This restaurant is so cute and intimate. They had soft music and ambient lighting. It is perfect for a couple or date. They have a fairly steady stream of takeout orders and so i was able to get a sense of there usual customer base which seems to be older. I say this because I realized in hindsight I should have asked for more spice and different veggies. The flavor of my meal was excellent, but I tend to be more adventurous. I don't think there regulars are the adventurous sort. Moral of my story ask if you want something more adventurous or spicy. My husband got the duck and he ate his and finished mine. Nothing more to be said, he was beyond satisfied which really was my goal. Definitely a mission accomplished.

Tried Lemongrass Thai for the first time and had takeout. The Yellow Chicken Curry was delicious. The bowl wasn't completely filled but still a good size. I would order again. Intimate size restaurant and good customer service.

The chicken pad thai here is amazing. The noodles are perfectly cooked and tossed in a tangy tamarind sauce with just the right amount of sweetness. The crushed peanuts and lime add so much flavor.

I've been a regular here for a couple years. I LOVE this place. The Lunch menu is perfectly priced and portions are just right! The food is delicious - fragrant, light, fresh and a very appealing presentation. The service is friendly and welcoming. I love them all- from the servers to the kitchen they aim to please. I always eat in because the food is piping hot when it leaves the kitchen and tastes best this way. Because the restaurant is small, comfortable, quiet and relaxed though, take out is definitely a good option and I always see a lot of people picking up their orders. This is a family run business and you can tell from the minute you enter this establishment that they care about each other almost as much as they care about their patrons. This place is a gem in North Raleigh- don't miss it!

Ask the Community - Lemongrass Thai Restaurant

    Do they take reservations?

No for dinner it opens at 5pm it will be full up possibly before 6pm

Can you customize a dish? Example ? Chicken pad Thai with no egg or tofu added ? Do they use MSG?

I think so but I'm not sure, you should ask them.

Noodle Blvd is located in a spot that you could easily miss, but it's easy to get back on track. I pulled into the gas station parking lot beside the restaurant, then just turned right into the restaurant parking lot. The parking lot is fairly small, so be warned about that. My friend was there when I arrived, and he sat at the bar. When I walked in the door, I was greeted with smiles and waves. It was very inviting, which is fitting for a ramen restaurant. My friend ordered us Lychee Margaritas, and oh my goodness, it was so good! We decided to visit right at opening on a Saturday, so the bartender was still preparing some of the ingredients needed for the margarita. The bartender informed us that it's usually better once a key ingredient sits for a while, but I loved the drink regardless. I ordered edamame for an appetizer, which came quickly and was good! Since I've never had ramen before, I asked our server what he recommended, and he told me about some of their most popular dishes. He told me the N9. Chicken Curry Ramen was a favorite of his and the patrons, so I decided to order that. It came quickly, and I was immediately in HEAVEN upon my first bite. I loved every bite after! I decided to play it safe with the spice and got level 2, but I can definitely go up a level or 2 since I love spicy. Highly recommend, and I will be back! Worth the drive from Clayton, where I live.

The short rib ramen was good, but the noodles were short, like they were cut or made short on purpose. The shrimp shumai was disappointing. Small bite sized portions, but they were soft. After cutting into one, I found out that they use rice as a filler with a bit of shrimp. I've never seen rice used in shumai, unless it's Shanghai sticky rice shumai. Also got a unagi don togo, it was good, just a bit small on the portion of eel, but it's hard to mess up an unagi don.

I came right before a show at the Alamo Drafthouse around the corner, which makes it the perfect night out for dinner and show. It looks like a lot of people order takeout here, but they have ample tables and do offer an excellent dine in service. I loved their green beans and eggplant. I ordered the lo mein, bamboo flounder fish, and a side of fried rice. Unfortunately, the lo mein was extremely greasy, the fried rice was overly salty, and the shrimp was hard, overcooked and not fresh. When I informed the waiter that I would not be eating the lo mein due to its condition, I was told that I would still have to pay for it and that it did not matter whether I liked it or not. He initially refused to remove the dish from my bill. After eventually taking it off, he told me that he never wanted to see my face again as I was leaving. What disappoints me most is that I genuinely enjoyed this restaurant and had been a repeat customer. The decline in food quality combined with the way my concerns were handled has left a very negative impression. Unfortunately, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Room for probably 3 diff groups of people to eat. There were tables to seat 4, two tall stool seats by the window facing the parking lot, and a tucked away spot with a folding chair beside it and had cups of utensils on it. I ordered the cold flour noodle with sesame sauce and the shaanxi mutton soak buns. Both were tasty and the cold noodles were refreshing. The employee described the mutton soak buns dish as a soup soaked pancake which is pretty accurate. It reminds me of a rice porridge but with chopped dough instead of rice. The restroom is in the back through the kitchen which is kinda cool because you can see them rolling out all the round flat bread that they use for the dishes. I'm guessing it's what they use for the rougamo (I've seen it at other Chinese restaurants described as a Chinese hamburger) and the shaanxi soak buns. It almost has a gnocchi type of consistency. It isn't your average fried rice and stir fry type of Chinese restaurant so if you're looking for something like that it might not meet your expectations. I would definitely come back to try other menu items. Also, get the plum juice. It's delicious!

The restaurant is "cute," with neon, sushi cats, and TVs. Quiet when it's empty, loud when there are large tables. Both the tonkatsu and shoyu ramens tasted fine if a little too salty. Salt was, in fact, the primary flavor. The broths had nowhere near the richness and depth of flavor that should have been present. The noodles were appropriately bouncy and were well cooked. The appetizers were also just okay. It's hard to screw up edamame and they didn't. They were served hotter than usual which was actually very nice. The furikake fries are overrated. The fries themselves are good and beautifully crispy but that's due to the light coating of cornstarch or rice flour on the fries. That helps give them that extra boost. The furikake itself doesn't stick to the fries and just falls to the bottom of the dish, adding absolutely nothing to the fries. The restaurant seemed understaffed. The server did his level best but was spread too thin. All in all, decent food but Miso Ramen by the bus station is much better.
