Came for the Taco Tuesday special. The place seats about 14 outside and about 28 inside. Most of the chairs are stools. So if you need back support, only one table inside had chairs with backs. The rest were outside. The $7 Tuesday special includes two tacos with a choice of either pork (2 kinds), fish, or chicken, and a fountain beverage. Any other choice is an upcharge. You can choose a flour or corn tortilla. Chips came with our meal along with a smoky not-so-good-tasting salsa. The salsa verde in the bottle on the table was better. We got the carnitas and the al pastor tacos with cooked onions and cilantro. The latter was our favorite. Our bill was about $15 for 2 specials. You easily could double the order to get a heartier meal for only $14 each. For us, it was a late lunch and just right. Service was fast and friendly.

Great taco Tuesday! Incredible value and delicious, AUTHENTIC Mexican food. This was our first try and we will definitely return. Good menu, friendly, happy staff. We tried 4 types of tacos, al pastor , carnitas, pollo with corn tortillas Mexican style, and one American style on flour tortillas. The tortillas were amazing and all the fillings flavorful AND FILLING! Not your typical tiny street tacos for their Taco Tuesdays! I took a raco picture but it didn't show up!

Love this place. My husband and I are regulars as we come here about every week for tacos, tostadas, burritos and their horchata. One of the best. The service is quick and you get free chips and salsa if you dine in. It does get busy depending on the time you get there so there may not be a table for you but there's wall seating. It's also pretty cold inside so I always bring a sweater when dining inside.

We were visiting the area for a day trip and wanted tacos so Yelp led us here... it was an easy and fast lunch option. Service was friendly as you order at the counter and food came out quick. Food was decent, nothing life-changing. I was surprised at how big the tacos were. I tried the elote which was somewhat bland so I wouldn't get that again. Our meal came with chips and salsa which was nice. Bien Chido is a great neighborhood/local faster option but probably not something we'd do again when we are back in the area as it wasn't that spectacular.

This restaurant has good reviews, however, for me it wasn't all there. Located in a shopping plaza, but it has welcoming look. Before entering, right outside on the sidewalk they have few tables where guests can stay and eat, seating is also available inside. I placed at order while inside for the 3 taco special, which comes with a small side of rice and beans, and of course 3 tacos of your choice and optional flower or corn tortillas. I choose el pastor and 2 carne asada, with the corn tortillas. I found the tortillas were very thick, and very chewy. The meats were ok, a bit on dry side. The rice was good, the refried bean, again, dry and very heavy. The meal was served with a few sauces that had good flower, and you can see bits of the charred remains from the peppers and tomatoes through out. The special also comes with a free bottle soda, or fountain drink, I choose the classic glass bottle coke, because it is not often many places offer bottle coke. Staff were friendly. The wait time to get the food is a bit long, for only myself and one other person that was ahead of me, I waited a good 15 min before my order was ready. Interior was kept clean, and organized which I always appreciate. If I ever return, I'll definitely leave an updated review. I wish my experience as my first time here were just as great as most of the other reviews I read about this place.

Well, I was in the mood for Mexican food and saw this place last week and decided to try it today. Nice little taco shop with several tables in the outside patio, which was filled with customers eating. The counter employee assisted me with ordering from the inviting menu the Carne Asada (steak) soft taco for $4.50 and included a side of baked chips and salsa. Within three minutes, my taco was brought to my table with the chips. Now, for the price, this was one of the smallest tacos ive ever purchased (pic provided). I litterally opened the taco in front of the server and chuckled. Thankfully the chips and salsa were added. Aside from the issue with the size, the taco was excellent tasting - the steak, onions and cilantro were fresh and the El Yucateco chile habanero hot sauce that I added, was a perfect blend of spice and heat. The bathroom was clean with common tile flooring.

World's smallest burrito. $13 I come here all the time, prob 1x a week, and it's now become a huge disappointment with portion sizes decreasing severely. Chicken was also super dry. Average size hands for reference.

TL;DR: Bien Chido is a fast casual counter burrito place with cute ambience but limited seating, offering solid traditional tex-mex and Mexican options. (Price point: $) My experience: I ordered a Chicken burrito for takeout on a Saturday afternoon. Food: 4/5. The burrito tasted like it had quality ingredients and was fairly well wrapped, but a little soggy on the bottom towards the end. It came with a spicy red sauce and sweet green sauce which were delicious. Other than the burrito, the menu had a variety of traditional tex-mex and Mexican fare at decent lunch prices and offers daily specials. Service: 4/5 Counter service staff were quick and attentive and got my order out quickly. Ambience: 3/5 Due to the size of the space, seating options are limited and seated parties have to deal with constant traffic at the counter. Food is prepared to go, even if you're planning to eat in, though dine-in does come with a free basket of tortilla chips. The space is decorated with cute Mexican-themed decor, if you're able to get a seat. Free parking is available in the strip mall parking lot, though it's very busy so it can take a minute to get a spot. What I would recommend it for: a quick takeout lunch if you're craving some tex-mex fare.

This place is amazing, never disappoints. I've always wished they had one in Pembroke Pines as there's only 1 in Plantation. My favorite is the sope, but they are all amazing! The employees are very nice and the seating is small inside but they also have outside, and the music has always been good.

Wow, finally a decent authentic Mexican spot I've tried so far. I've tried many places from Miami, Homestead, and Broward county. And this was so good. I only had a Gordita, but honestly it was the best so far. It was fresh, the masa was well seasoned, meat was delicious, had the basic toppings in a Gordita which made it even better. I could tell it was crema and not sour cream. I love the idea that they keep it og with ingredients on the tacos (cilantro and onion) and cater to the gringos (lettuce tomato and cheese) which I found hilarious. Chips and salsa to start at no charge, and the bottled salsas were so good. Spicy and tasty. I ordered a michelada with my food which was delicious as well. Definitely can't wait to come back and try the rest of their menu!!

Came here on Taco Tuesday and tried their steak tacos. They were delicious! We ordered them on corn tortillas which were very good. As part of their Taco Tuesday deal, you can get two tacos and one drink. They had sauces on the table which were also great. Service was pretty quick. There's seating inside and outside. Bathroom was clean as well. I would come back!

Some of best tacos authentic Mexican tacos in Broward! My wife and I found this spot a few years ago and have made it a tradition to stop by once a week. The soft corn tortillas with flavoring options for your filling from carne asada to al pastor keep us coming back for more.

I went back again and had the carne asada and carnita tacos. The ingredients are good quality and full of flavor. You receive free chips and salsa when dining in. There are two sauces besides the salsa that are all fresh and delicious. The dining room is very clean. There is indoor and outdoor seating. You refill your own drink. The staff is friendly and efficient. I love tacos and give this place a thumbs up. I will return again and again! read more

04/2020 We picked up a to go order for a friend and decided to order our own steak burrito just to try it out too . We really enjoyed the burrito and it was so filling that I could only eat half . You might think this to be over exaggerated, but this taqueria is one of the many reasons I won't ever move from Plantation! There hasn't been an item on their menu that disappoints. Authentic flavor and great customer service make this place an any-day-of-the-week dinner. This little joint is amazing. The food is fresh and full of flavor. We started with the Mexican corn, which was outstanding . What a great little Mexican restaurant tucked away in a strip mall on West Broward Blvd. I found it through Yelp and was not disappointed! Bright cheery, if a bit stark, it was clean and the staff was friendly and informative. We ordered 2 carne asada (steak) tacos, the Mexican way, on corn tortillas with chopped onions and cilantro, and the 3 plate dinner with rice and beans (again carne asada). My only request was for light cilantro as too much makes me sick. We sat down at an available table (I agree with another Yelper- not a fan of the chairs) they brought up free chips and salsa. Not a fan of the salsa but the chips were good. We had our food within 10 minutes. The tacos were bigger than the street tacos I am used to but had really good flavoring. The 2 corn tortilla were stuffed with steak and onions and cilantro. My tacos were great - but my request for very little cilantro was confused as there was SO much cilantro i spent 10 minutes trying to pull it all off - but wasn't able to succeed. After we sat down, there was suddenly a line of 20 people to order take out or eat in so I didn't want to interrupt the guy at the cashier to make new ones. I will be careful the next time that is very clear. They had 2 fresh sauces, Verde (mild green) and Red (slow burning flavor) so I tried the red and a few drops on the taco were amazing!! Small portions of rice and beans came in 2 small salsa type bowls. Cute, but awkward to eat. Food kept falling off the fork. They might want to rethink that in the future. Overall, we are very happy we "found" them and plan to go try almost everything on the menu!. read more

This place feels like is beginning to loose its quality. The tacos here used to be great, but the last two times we have ordered, we have noticed that the quality is gone. I'm not sure if they are getting lower quality meat to increase their margin or plain laziness and sloppy preparation. Our carne asada tacos were full of fat trim mixed with the meat, about every bite had an rubbery piece of fat. I sure hope the owners read these reviews, I hate to see this place fail read more

Absolutely authentic Mexican food at a modest price. Can't wait to go again. I had the 3 taco special with 1 shrimp, 1 steak & 1 el sabor pork with rice and beans and a tamarind Jarritos. Such nice size portions. Got the feeling they do a huge take out business, as cars kept coming and going as we sat outside with our 2 dogs. This is a hidden gem in a popular shopping area in Plantation Florida. Staff were so personable and interested in how we found out about them ( we are from NYC) , how we liked the food.We could tell everyone that works there is proud to be a part of this family business . I have heard of this place a few times. I passed by it a few times as well. So I was like, another wanna be Mexican place So I heard others talking about it, to include Mexican friends. So if the Mexicans are raving it, I should try it ... so I did I got hooked on the sopes, the tacos. Their sauces are superb and the burrito is really good. I have had taquitos, but I think my batch was over fried:( The drinks are reaaaaalllly good Since I have tried this location, I have not stopped. Great place!!! read more

My boyfriend and I love coming here for taco Tuesday! They have a special of two tacos and a drink for $6. We drive over 20 minutes and it is always worth it. I love the al pastor, but lately the barbacoa has become my favorite. I also love that they double wrap their tacos, because their corn tortillas are amazing. There is indoor and outdoor seating, but I always find it's really cold inside. read more

Best Tacos we have had outside of Mexico Tried this place for the first time and the food was excellent. On Tuesday you get two tacos , chips and a soft drink for 5 dollars. Small but intimate place. Staff is very friendly and the owner Julian was very nice and informative. We will return to sample more of the menu. The guacamole was top notch and the chips freshly made. read more

I am giving it five stars because the tacos, the chips and guacamole and the service is amazing. We also ordered elote and that I was extremely disappointed with. In Mexico they roast the corn and it's still crisp and crunchy. This is boiled corn on the cob with some toppings. The corn is soft and the toppings are lacking. They are not topping with fresh queso. I would not order the elote again. The tacos though are amazing. The corn tortillas are grilled just right and the cilantro and onions do add to the authenticity. I will definitely be back again. Plus they have Coca Cola made in Mexico which uses real cane sugar. Makes a difference. I would recommend everything except the elote. read more

Perfect little gem with fast service and very good food! Customer service is always attentive and nice. Tastes as authentic as you can get and much better than larger chain restaurants. I was a first timer, this past Saturday. As soon as I walked in, I noticed how clean the restaurant looked. The employees were friendly and were following COVID-19 guidelines too. My husband and I started off with chips and guacamole. Now these chips were really great! They had a perfect crunch and weren't oily. The guacamole was bigger that I imagined and it tasted great. For my meal, I ordered Tacos with arroz, frijoles & Jarrito. For all 3 tacos - I had them the Mexican way, with carne asada as the choice of meat, on corn tortillas. The tacos were piled high with meat. They tasted very fresh and were possibly the best tacos I've had. The texture of the refried beans were a little different than I'm used to, but not in a bad way. The beans weren't completely mashed up. They were somewhat, still in the bean shape. But, they tasted good! The rice was pretty decent. I think the price was pretty spot on, as the food tasted of quality and the portions were bigger than I expected. The tacos would be the reason I'd go back. I didn't need the rice, the beans and the drink. But as it was my first time, I'm happy to have tasted more than just one thing on the menu. read more

This little taqueria dishes out a whole bunch of flavor! Located in a shopping center off of Broward Blvd, a few blocks east of University drive, don't miss it if you are a taco lover! Lately, my company has been working in Plantation, so I am spending a lot of time at the building department and in the area. I've had a lot of excuses to visit - and I have been taking every opportunity! The space is fairly small - they have 5 or 6 tables and a counter to eat at with lots of colorful Mexican decor. You order at the counter, and if you're eating in they give you a number to take to the table. Once you're seated they deliver a small portion of chips and salsa to nibble on in the very short time it takes them to prepare your food. They have a wide selection of Mexican favorites. NOT your typical Americanized Mexican, the food here leans toward more traditional Mexican street fare, featuring a variety of protein choices such as Barbacoa, carnitas, chorizo or Al Pastor prepared in several different ways, such as Tacos (Mexican or American style), burritos, sopes, or Tortas. Each preparation comes with it's own various fillings etc. There is also a great variety of beverages - from fountain drinks, to Mexican Sodas to Horchata and jamaica and more. I am a Taco guy - and I love their tacos! Prepared Mexican Style if you please. I usually go for two Al Pastor and one Chorizo tacos. The Al Pastor is really good - savory and delicious with a kick of pineapple tartness, and while the chorizo isn't cooked to a nearly-crunchy state like I've grown used to it, it is flavorful and satisfying. The red and green taco sauce on the table perfectly compliments the tacos - and while they have a bit of heat, don't be scared to try them or you will miss out! For my beverage, I usually go with the horchata or the jamaica - though the Jarritos tamarind soda is another favorite. Very much one of my favorite places! CHECK IT OUT! read more

No complaints about Bien Chido! NOTHING beats their two tacos, a drink, and chips for $5! Literally nothing! You can get your tacos American (lettuce, tomato, cheese) or Mexican (cilantro, lemon) style. Both are delicious! I highly recommend the barbacoa tacos in either style. Their tacos are full of flavor, and of course everything is served right away so it's nice and hot. My coworkers also frequently enjoy Al Pastor tacos as well. The guacamole is also very fresh. The service is quick and friendly. This place is small and gets packed FAST. The wait isn't too long and while seating is limited, everything moves pretty quickly. 11:30-11:45 AM is a good time to come for lunch before the crowd rushes in. This is definitely going to be my go-to taco place from now on. So happy that this place is nearby work! read more

We have been visiting Bien Chido since 2019 and they have been amazing every time. My family and I love having those spontaneous Taco Tuesdays there. It's always full and such a nice atmosphere. Service is quick, food is great....We love it!! read more

I'm always in search of good, authentic Mexican tacos and thanks to my fellow Yelpers I found this place. I opted for the 3 tacos combination platter which came with rice and beans. I tried the carne asada(steak), carnitas(pork) and the barbacoa(braised beef). You have a choice of getting them Mexican style, with cilantro and onion, or American style with lettuce, tomato and cheese. I opted for the Mexican style. Have to say that I enjoyed them all but the carne asada was my favorite. The rice and beans that came with them were excellent as well. I ordered a side of guac and it was well seasoned, with nice chunks of avocado and not too creamy. They offer many varieties of Mexican sodas plus fountain drinks as well. On Tuesdays they have a Taco Tuesday special where you can get two tacos and a drink for five dollars. Great place for some authentic tacos! read more

I was so excited to try this place, after seeing all the great reviews, but unfortunately it was not what I expected. The place is small, there are only a few tables inside/outside. I opted to sit outside due to inside being so full and the only table available was close to the door, but unfortunately it was super hot/humid, and there are no fans outside so I was sweating the whole time. I ordered the 3 taco combo, which comes with rice and beans, I got the Al pastor, Carne Asada and seafood; the beans and rice were good, but the tacos were pretty sad, flavorless and barely any meat. My boyfriend ordered a tostada, which did have a lot of meat, but the quality wasn't great. read more

They absolutely were not, and my friends confirmed the same. I refused to eat them and ended up taking them home for my daughter. What makes this especially upsetting is that this isn't just about getting an order wrong--mistakes happen. The problem is that the restaurant chose to lie rather than fix it. If this had been a customer with a gluten allergy or celiac disease, the consequences could have been serious. Serving the wrong food is one thing; knowingly trying to pass it off as something it isn't is completely unacceptable and incredibly irresponsible.

At one point, we were told the kitchen had prioritized takeout orders over the customers dining inside, despite multiple tables waiting over two hours for food. Our waitress was also extremely inattentive. During the entire 2 hours we sat there, she only came back once after taking the initial order. No updates, no checking in, nothing. The most disappointing part was my daughter waiting two hours for a meal she never even received. Completely unacceptable experience, especially on a holiday where they were heavily promoting the event. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place based on the service and overall management that night.

The reviews punked me good. I mean, I thought I was getting a Michelin-star experience, but all I got were Michelin-tire-flavored tacos! Ordered from this joint due to its rave reviews and now I'm wondering if those were written by taste-blind zombies. I basically became the black sheep of the family tonight, serving up these flavorless taco abominations. The name "Bien Chido" implies awesomeness, but all I got was "Bien Chido-my-money-away". When placing an order for pickup how does it make sense to stand in a line with people who are just ordering there food? Every other time I have placed an order for pickup they used the portable device to charge my card for the food however I think the gentleman was being rude and told me I had to wait to pay as my food sat there getting cold. Absolutely ridiculous process and rude service. If anyone of my employees at my restaurant was to treat my customer like that after explaining that I usually pay for pickup with my card so my food doesn't get cold standing in a line for 15 minutes I would reprimand him and explain how the process is supposed to work. read more

We've been here three times this week! Not a lot of places in Plantation have savory vegetarian meals so we were super stoked to try their black bean burger and veggie wrap. They didn't disappoint! We also had a slice of homemade sweet potato pie that was ahmayzing and we may or may not have fought over the last bite. Pro tip: order the steak fries and add avocado and cheese to your bean burger! Oh and the staff is incredible too! read more

I just ordered a bit of everything on the menu. It came out to about $60, the best money i ever spent, everything that i ordered was delicious, my wife is a chef and very picky , when she was done she said this is her new favorite spot, i was shocked, not because the food but because i know how picky she is, so not only will i be ordering from here alot more but i will recommend this place to anyone. read more

This is an authentic Mexican restaurant. They make the tacos with corn but you have a choice of corn or flour. They have taco Tuesday with a 5 dollars special. They also have a few combos. I had the pick three combo. It came with rice and refried beans along with a drink. I had the shredded pork and the steak taco. Both were delicious. The service is very fast. read more

We go here often. My favorites are the pastor tacos, the sopes, and the birria tacos are good too. The guacamole and chips are also good. I have never had anything bad here, the people are attentive and they try to get you in and out as fast as possible given. They can get very busy, and the spot isn't very big, we usually get it to go. Definitely recommend. read more

Taco's were authentic! The tortillas are amazing. I had the 3 taco combo, Carne Asada, Carnitas, and Al Pastor. The flavor on 3 of the meats are fantastic. I ordered it Mexican Style. The different choices of salsa are perfect. They offer mild from SUPER HOT and everything in between. We will be back for sure! read more

This place is great they bring you chips and salsa which were both delicious, the Mexican corn was really good and 2 out of the 3 tacos I ordered were great. I got fish, chorizo and steak but the steak wasn't good at all I only ate one bite. read more
