I'm appending my original review from below and changed the stars from a 1 to a four, because although it was pretty upsetting but since then I did receive a very thoughtful and concerned message from the owner and even a personal call from him. It was quite a change from the employees that I encountered. I felt as though he genuinely cared and made action based on information I had provided. I also couldn't resist going yesterday I was a bit nervous but the girls yesterday were very polite and had a lot great demeanor. Ultimately the smoothies are amazing and so well priced, and the good service is there. But having worked in such similar situations their behavior was not ok especially when your dealing with customers and they seemed way to comfortable acting the way they did. The customer isn't always right but when dealing with a customer the only right way is by trying to accommodate or killing with kindness. --------------------------------- I love the smoothies but that is all. I went online earlier to see what time they closed and Yelp google and their website says summer hours open till 6:30pm. Also the irony for me is I had also pulled up yelp to see the reviews since I was already on the site. Well the only issue it seemed anyone has was with the staff. And they couldn't be more accurate. I showed up at 6:05pm door was open but lights were off, they said oh we are closed. I said well online it says 630pm, response "that's only google and they are wrong" advises it was everywhere pulled it up and showed her. She said oh well we are closed the sign is in the door. I asked if they would kind enough to make one more as It says online 630. They of course said no and just kept referencing the sign (which as I pointed out would only have been seen if you are standing outside people rely on the internet). They refused to help me and of course they weren't polite about it. In the time they spent arguing with me it could all been done. I finally got well everything is clean and the resister is closed (mind you it wasn't closed when I walked in, I've worked retail). They just were very rude and unprofessional, I asked their names and one told me to leave. I asked again and got both of their names but won't put them up here as that's impolite to call someone out by there name on the internet. As I left I said "I heard you guys were bitchy but this was a whole new level", one of the girls proceed to follow me out the door and was like what did you just say ma'am. And I said it again as I wasn't calling them bitchy but I've heard and they exceed that title. I've had another issue with them in the past of rude and poor customer service. I don't know if it was one of these girls but my father had purchased me a smoothie when I was ill a few months back and when he handed it the me the whole bottom fell out and it all spilled. The cap was still on so I know it wasn't grabbed incorrectly. Since it was by no fault of ours we tried to call to see what couldn't be done. Well after trying for ten minutes and with no answer my dad went back. I gave him the cup to give back to show it was our fault. I wasn't there but from what my dad said they basically was calling him a liar and it took a lot of convincing to get a new one(I also asked for another flavor as after cleaning up a huge smoothie mess I was saturated and didn't want flavor anymore but of course that was a definite no). I know people have bad days but I've worked in several customer service places and you just don't treat people let alone customers like that. Maybe they think they it's ok because they do it a lot. A real, all-around, genuine smoothie place in a world overrun by pseudo-smoothie frozen yogurt shops. They make the hard-core protein smoothie and the all fruit + vegetable smoothie. They have the peanut butter + banana and yogurt smoothie. The staff is friendly and helpful and very effiicient. I love this place. I drive 20 minutes out of my way to get a shake after a workout. The value and quality can't be beat. I get a " regular" which I would guess is about a 20oz ( more than enough for me) and it runs me about 7 and some change. The Ironman is my go to I rarely look at the menu anymore. Chocolate, peanut butter, banana, and fat free frozen yogurt yummmm! I substitute the choco syrup with chocolate whey protein and it's soooo good. its hot outside while strolling around white plains on a sunday early afternoon so maybe a cool smoothie will help a bit. inside its a cozy place with some seating around and i see a few friends enjoying smoothies and cookies so i will do the same minus the cookies maybe. i prefer the mixed fruit smoothies and avoid the veggie ones cause i cant drink the stuff without thinking that i am drinking a salad. i aint no expert on this stuff and the health benefits as well due to my community college dropout education but from a taste standpoint i am clear that this place makes tasty fruity smoothies at reasonable prices . the menu board is simple to read and understand which includes whats being thrown in the blender . i am a watermelon / pineapple /apples , oranges/ type of smoothie drinker and by golly thats what i got for my 7 bucks. hope this downtown white plains shop hangs around cause its a nice comfy place to chill and grab a healthy non carbonated beverage. read more

I'm giving this place 2 stars because the juice was good, but I will not be going back because of the poor service. Yesterday, when we were there, there were about 5 customers there. Some who had already ordered and the others were still thinking about what they wanted. When we walked in, we grabbed a menu and decided on getting juices versus a smoothie ( Fruit juices are listed on the menu). One of the girls asked for our order and when we asked for the juice, she said they didn't have juice, but said it in a tone, as if I was asking for something not listed on the menu. So we said okay, kind of puzzled still and asked for 2 smoothies. As if fed up with us, she asked the other girl to take care of us. At the point, we just wanted our juice and wanted to run out of there. The young woman with the long dark hair does not belong up front with the public. She is rude and has a horrible attitude. Went in with my daughter after a long morning of shopping and were wowed by the variety of selections. We tried the juice place down the street last week so we were iffy about this smoothie place, however for the price and quality big apple hands down won us over!
