Nice breakfast spot with plenty of choices from simple eggs and biscuits to wonderful huevos rancheros . Eggs were cooked perfectly. Pleasant waitstaff.

Fantastic restaurant with Great ambiance, service and delicious farm fresh food. Went on a Monday morning, wasn't too crowded. Delicious Coffee and they had honey and heavy cream.... I ordered the Low Country Skillet and it was large enough for two, came with biscuit and homemade blueberry jam! Perfection!! Hubby ordered the Creole Omelet and it was fab! Lots of shrimp and a light creole sauce.... highly recommend this spot and we'll be back

This place was fun, funky and offered really good food! Our server was so good, and handled our large party very well! She was so interactive and I loved that she was very sweet to the kids we had with us! Everyone loved their meals! I'm sure I would visit this place again if I'm in the area! Plenty of parking but lot gets full with other businesses so may not be as close to door. Can join waitlist online prior to arrival to help with wait. Was seating fast during busy Sunday brunch time. What a great find! We try to stick to non-chain restaurants and while this is a small chain it was totally worth it. I was hooked when I saw the Hangtown Fry and tomato gravy on the menu & they did not disappoint. It was actually so good that we went back a second time. My husband got the huevos rancheros both times!

I got the Mother of all biscuits, which is a dill chicken breast, cheese, and buttermilk biscuit. I wished I had upgraded the biscuit and made it a dirty bird (hot sauce, bacon, and honey) because it was dry and salty. The dill flavor stands out and differentiates the chicken from all the other chicken biscuits places. However, this needs to come with gravy or at least make it another add-on/upgrade.

The jack benny, a version of eggs benedict, was so delicious! The wait was minimal, even to get seated and receive our food. I also had an order of the vietnamese cold brew, and I strongly recommend! Check this place out if you want to enjoy a nice brunch.

Food was hot, flavorful, and delicious! We have been to multiple Big Bad Breakfast locations without disappointment! Our service was amazing by our waitress. I forgot to get her name, but she had glasses and dark burgendy /red-violet hair! Our food was out within 5-10 minutes of ordering and came out perfectly. Highly recommend this location! read more

Wow, everything was really delicious. I wish that I took photos. Service was friendly and the food was great. We ordered the shrimp po'boy & biscuit and gravy (sausage)w/ fried egg. Greeted at the door, immediately seated, asked about drink orders by our server and were given time to look over a delicious-sounding menu. Fabulously comfortable and fun setting. Our table ordered a traditional breakfast with scrambled eggs, a spicy breakfast sausage link and wheat toast with strawberry jam; breakfast hash with oysters; plain pancakes with crispy bacon and the special granny smith apple pancakes. Big Bad Breakfast is my favorite Chatt breakfast spot. They have terrific servers, unique breakfast choices along with the standard fare and are consistent. They also have a bright cheerful interior and offer outdoor seating in front and on the side, plus a bar with seating. We go there about three times a month. read more

We happen to get Cathryn for our server and she was on top of everything considering how busy it was for breakfast. I had never tried grits before or the tomato gravy. Cool spot, great breakfast! They have a large selection so it's easy to find something for everyone. Good coffee drinks, I got the Vietnamese style and was very pleased. I will say the oysters were almost lacking flavor, couldn't used either some seasoning in the batter or perhaps a nice sauce to bring it all together. Overall I would recommend this for a quick breakfast or brunch for anyone, it's a nice addition to our Northshore eateries. read more

Since it was our first visit and everything on the menu spoke to us, she helped steer us in the right direction. I ended up ordering the pistachio croissant, and honestly... I'd go back for that alone. It was warm, huge by croissant standards, and absolutely heavenly. I even grabbed another one to take home because Future Me deserved a little happiness too. We also tried the raspberry lemon danish, which was a delicious combo, but the pistachio croissant stole the show without breaking a sweat. We started with the poutine, and while it wasn't the traditional version I've had before, it was incredible. Instead of cheese curds blocks, it came with pulled pork and melted cheese, and somehow it just worked. Comfort food with a little Southern flair. For breakfast, we had the ham and cheese omelet with breakfast potatoes. It was exactly what you want it to be--classic, satisfying, and impossible to regret if that's your usual order. I have eaten at this specific restaurant over 15 times. The quality of service has gone downhill since it first opened. The girl at the front counter took my phone number and name 3 different times. Then she called out my name incorrectly and I almost did not get my table (Valentine's Day after waiting for 45 minutes). The girl that delivered the food to our table flung the plate and half my fries went on the table (Nasty). She did not apologize or offer to replace fries, but simply walked away. The waitress came to our table after we finished eating. We almost decided to get up and get our own water and coffee refill. I will be eating at Milk and Honey and First Watch. The added little muffin I didn't expect was a nice touch and delicious. The collard greens were SO GOOD. I'd get them again. So flavorful and cooked well. The beets were fresh and the goat cheese carried so much flavor. For the desserts, we got the carrot cake with pecans and chocolate cheesecake. Both were soooo good. I would get both of them again, especially the carrot cake which was so warm and moist. And the candied pecans were such a nice complement to the cake - not too sweet at all. The ambience is super nice and fresh, and our server was so sweet and engaging. The hostess as well. Everybody there was so nice and welcoming. They validate parking if you park in the garage nearby!

So we arrive just about 15 minutes early but were immediately seated. It was a bit confusing about where the host stand is since there are two entrances... but no problem because the owner was at the bar to greet us. The customer service is top tier! The venue is beautiful! But the food ... left something to be desired. I ordered the pot roast based on recommendations from the waiter. He also recommended the greens over the green beans. I also added a side of mashed potatoes and fried corn. So first, the plate came out messy (see pic). It would have only taken a second to wipe off the edge of the plate. Then the pot was appeared shredded and covered in thyme and rosemary. Both over powered the meat. I'm wondering if I had the last piece and they covered things up with the extra seasoning from the bottom. My friend also ordered the pot roast and although hers was also chopped, she did not have as much thyme and rosemary- although she complained that it was too much. Next the greens tasted unseasoned and undercooked. The fried corn was not fried but were kernels of sweet corn in some type of cornstarch slurry - awful! The mashed potatoes are boxed but edible however the white gravy was not good. I missed on the menu that the gravy is white - it should be brown. Finally, we received a piece of cornbread- it was very dense but sweet. My friends liked it but I did not. My friends had a mix of feelings from "it was good" to "just ok but I won't take my left overs home." Needless to say I also did not take my left overs home. One saving grace about the meal was the fruit tea! It was delicious! I also ordered two chocolate covered strawberries for dessert and I wished I ordered more! Since it was four friends birthday- the singer (yes there was live music) called out their names and sang a rendition of "Happy Birthday". This same singer had the room up and dancing on several song! She did a wonderful job. Plus the restaurant provided a free dessert to each of the four birthday friends! They all enjoyed their desserts! So the verdict... the venue is beautiful and a vibe for a Saturday night but unfortunately I won't return for the good. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. The patio is so peaceful and creates such a beautiful view of the water to enjoy while dining. And of course our fav peanut butter cream pie dessert was the perfect ending to a lovely Thursday lunch.
