Came here to Rosemary Beach for spring break. We wanted to have a good breakfast and Big Bad Breakfast was close by. The place was really cool looking. When we arrived it was a little busy, and they told us it would be a 45 minute wait. We took the opportunity to explore the area and to our pleasant surprise we were notified to be seated within 15 minutes. However, this is where the service became subpar. We waited for a good 10 minutes before the waitress came over and asked for our drinks. It took a while to get our coffee, waters, and juices. She didn't offer cream and sugar, so that added another five minutes to get all of that. My wife asked for water with no ice, but that did not even arrive. She then took our order, and then we waited another 30 to 35 minutes before our food even arrived. I had to keep asking for coffee, and that took another five minutes to get another cup of coffee. When my order arrived, I had asked for no bacon, and sure enough, there was bacon in my order. Then, they were nice enough to remake it. Remember that water with no ice that we asked about? We did not get that, even though we kept asking. I understand it is spring break and we are in a beach town, but these prices for an average breakfast, was pretty high. Four dollars for apple juice for the kids. That is four dollars each for the Apple juice. Are you kidding me? Overall, it was a decent meal and a nice location. Food is great but there is always an hour wait during season. The "join waitlist" feature on yelp doesn't work...? We put our name in only to get to the front and be told they don't use yelp...this is very misleading and should probably be looked into before Summer. If you're up for the wait, it's a great spot for breakfast. read more

The food was very good but expect a long wait. Seemed to be very unorganized at the hostess stand and maybe understaffed on servers. We were told 20-25 minutes and we were seated roughly 55 from check in. The tables up from that we could see weren't getting served very quickly at all, which I'd say contributed to the much longer wait time. We almost walked out but had 7 in our group and we knew by the time we went anywhere else we'd be on a wait there. Was there last week - REALLY need to have a gluten free menu. Its 2018 and there are plenty of options besides eggs. Most folks that are gluten free can still cross contaminate and you are missing a LARGE audience. How difficult would it REALLY be to just have GF pancake mix or bread??? read more

I am not writing this due to bad food. The food here is decent. The ambiance and wait staff are not so great. We were sat at a 4 top high boy near the wall and quickly asked to be moved due to the overwhelming smell of mold and vomit. You would think that after a patron asks to be moved due to a bad odor they would attempt to clean, not here, they reset the table for the next prospective guests. Our waitress was nothing short of brash and unprofessional. Management needs to be aware that this mold smell needs attention. For a $75 brunch with rude staff I would rather eat my weight in waffles at Waffle House and I'd probably have a much more gracious waitress. read more

Bad breakfast is right. Unprofessional and gossiping managers. I ordered a riviera omelet and unlike the menu stated it lacked crab meat and looked nothing like the picture online. I also ordered an additional pancake which was $4 more along with a large grapefruit juice that actually came pint sized in a coffee cup. After picking up my order (a total of 3 orders) I went to the grocery store & later after returning to my condo I discovered that I was missing the additional pancake I paid for. The cashier asked "why did I wait so long? I explained what I just stated and she instructed me to call tomorrow and Abbey will have it ready for me. " I called Abbey the next day (today) and she informed me they would be closing soon and I said I would come tomorrow. At the end of the call Abbey never hung up and I overheard her talking bad about me to another staff member. I called Abbey back and let her know I wouldn't need what was promised to me and that I heard her gossiping conversation. At which point she said she would still do it and I replied "no thanks." Save your time and coins it's an embarrassment to people within the food industry and management everywhere. Most importantly it's not worth the price. read more

Really good breakfast place; and usually not too crowded, especially compared to the tourist trap donut hole.. They pride themselves on everything being made "in house" (the jellies are awesome) but I did see them pour apple juice (generic brand) out of a container. If you arrive before noon on a holiday weekend, expect to wait. The restaurant capacity is 65 with additional outside seating. Food was great; I ordered the Big Bad Skillet, and the rest of the crew had the Riviera Skillet, Cathead Chicken Sausage Gravy Biscuit, and the Big Bad Pemengo Cheese sandwich. The kitchen ran out of biscuits and it took approximately 30 minutes to make more; which was frustrating. But, they were very accommodational, bringing out a dish to tide over my pregnant wife until the biscuits could be made for the Cathead dish. Would we return, absolutely. Sitting outside was pleasant, even in the late summer heat because there are plenty of fans and shade out back. read more

My family and I enjoyed this restaurant while vacationing at 30A this past week. There were 10 of us. We were seated quickly. We choose the outside seating which provided a spectacular view of an amazing pool with cabanas and tons of comfy seating. The food and service were both a 10+! We selected to eat at this same location on day 2!!! With additional family joining later in the week we introduced them as well and the same response was had- food and service both are superb! I was looking for a sandwich for lunch and wanted to try BBB. Entered and it was clean and they were abiding by the Covid-19 guidelines. I was ordering for take out and the staff was friendly. First, they got my order wrong but I can't completely blame them as everyone is wearing masks. But, more places should show the order so the customer can see it to make sure the order is correct. I ordered the shrimp and oyster po'boy but only got shrimp. The menu said it was the best outside of New Orleans but it was average at best. I was expecting some type of homemade bread instead of a bun that was more like a hot dog bun. It only came with 5 pieces of shrimp. After I finished ordering they were really pushing add ons. I did not want anything else, no fries, or dessert. If I did I would have ordered it. All in all, I will give them one more try for breakfast, since that is in their name. Don't go here for the po'boy... definitely not the best outside of New Orleans. read more

Rarely give reviews especially if negative but there is one word to describe this place- disappointing. After visiting the Oxford location numerous times and loving it I was super excited to see them open at Inlet Beach. The 2 stars is because my husband's biscuit sandwich was good but that's it. The bad experience started when we walked in. We're acknowledged then forgotten about- empty seats galore. Finally seated and order my $6 coffee drink iced but it was brought to me hot. Asked for straws and never got them- found them on the bar and retrieved myself. Ordered avocado toast with eggs fried over well- received the order with cold, runny eggs. Barely any avocado on the toast which was $12. Finally go to pay and the only option for tip is 18% or 20% so $40+ for a terrible breakfast and experience. read more

Great food! No wait at 9:15 am while there was at least an hour line at Donut Hole. Our 3 family members had a variety of breakfast dishes and all were very good. We shared an order of the French toast and it was AMAZING! Quaint restaurant overlooking a beautiful pool! We will be eating here again when we are in the area! read more

To start off I had excellent service when I walked in and was seated almost immediately. Owner was very great! Ordered my food and coffee and I got my coffee and wasn't what I really liked in my opinion I nicely asked if I could switch to another coffee and if I needed to I would pay for both which my server was very kind and let me. A lady with multiple colors of hair came up to me and was very rude on how I wanted another coffee. I'm not sure if she is the barista but this needs to be addressed on her attitude because this isn't the first time i have heard this and then it happened to me. read more

First time visiting this restaurant and when we arrived the wait we were told was 35 minutes. After waiting 35 minutes the hostess (Sasha, who was an absolute angel!) was told by the manager (who came up rudely while we were sitting right there waiting) to add 25 minutes to our wait because their kitchen was backed up. We continued waiting and there was several clean tables as well as waiters and waitresses coming up asking why we weren't being seated along with other guests because they were bored. Sasha went to ask if we could be seated and wait to order and the manager then told her no, and add 20 more minutes. This entire time they were doing to go orders quickly over their guests who were present. We felt as if we were not wanted at the establishment because we had a group of 7 women. We were finally seated and the food was fantastic but the whole vibe had already ruined our visit. If it weren't for Sasha we wouldn't had stayed. read more

I'm giving five stars for the food but not the service. The service was a 1 star review. The waitress was very unhappy to serve us. Starting out the meal I had asked very nicely for a straw when she got a chance and she huffed and rolled her eyes while walking away. She refused to come back and check on us. My group had to go into the restaurant (we were seated outside) to ask for a refill among other things. I wish I could have just tipped the chef. This was the worst breakfast experience I've had in awhile. As soon as we walked in and were met with the smell of rancid mop water we should have turned around. Instead we waited for our table... which was a huge mistake. The menu looks great and honestly the food was okay... but the service was an atrocity. Everyone was running about and looked flustered and angry. Our waitress was stressed and distracted (possibly due to a personal issue). We waited quite awhile for our drinks and order to be taken (and then she ended up dipping her finger in my coffee). All of a sudden she was gone and someone else told us she had left (which is why I suspect a personal issue had presented itself). The new waitress was very friendly- though also seemed frazzled and inattentive. However, her shirt was completely drenched in sweat and it was running down her face. I understand she was working hard and couldn't help it but as a diner it was utterly repulsive and could have easily been remedied with a quick restroom break for a towel wipe and clean t-shirt. It was gross enough that my friend and I had completely lost our appetite and left our uneaten meals to get the heck out of there. I had extremely high hopes for this place, and was very disappointed with all aspects of this- except maybe the presentation. We decided to be on the waitlist for 45 minutes, I thought it would be worth it since so many people were obviously wanting to eat there. I was wrong. We got seated and ordered immediately since we were hungry after waiting. It didn't take long at all to get our food, but the waitress didn't seem to care about our experience too much since she never checked on us. We also spilled out coffee a little and used our napkins to clean up, but she wasn't around to where we could ask for more napkins! The avocado toast I got was the worst I've ever had (and I have had a lot). There was absolutely no flavor and there was only "fluff" with the toppings to make it look pretty. Along with there being no flavor, it was spicy. Not the good spicy with spices, but just randomly spicy. Weird and didn't taste great. My boyfriend got the big bad breakfast skillet, which was better but not great. He said it was chewy and from the bites I tried, it was loaded with salt. Overall, not the best experience. 3 stars since this was only our first time and maybe they had a bad day? Not sure what it is exactly, but I probably won't be spending that amount of money for bad service and bad food (I guess it is called the big BAD breakfast for a reason). read more

Great hidden gem! Seems new, so maybe it isn't popular yet. We also went kind of early, so maybe it just wasn't busy yet. The spicy bacon was delicious! The biscuits were fantastic!!! I could have eaten my weight in them. They have several homemade jellies/jams. I tied blueberry and peach. Loved them both. They seem to have so gray cocktails for later in the day, though I didn't try those. Give BBB a try! read more
