Great NY style pizza. Having grown up in New York, this is the closest to the real thing. They also make a great calzone.

I'm org from NY & have been In Co for all of 5 months and counting. NY Is known for some great food ( Of coarse In my oppinion) and after searching for some great Italian food/ Pizza, I was disappointed with my findings. Being I have picky palate I must say after more than one recommendation to Big Bills, I'm glad I drove the 30 Mins out of my way for what I believe was AMAZING food. It's not NYC pizza!! You know how you try to make pizza at home but never comes out tasting like real pizza??? Well, welcome to Big Bills. I just moved to Colorado from NYC and I know NYC pizza. It's my favorite food. Big Bills has no flavor. The sauce is tasteless. The dough is garbage. They do have some decent memorabilia which is why I even gave it a star. Want my advise???? This place was a big surprise to me. I've never had authentic New York pizza before, and this was exceptional pizza. I loved the garlic knots -- warm and garlicky. Yum!! Big Bill's is heaven on earth for Italian food. No fails: Garlic knots, they are warm, garlicky little rolls of perfection. Big Bill's ranch dressing is amazing. For salads, and if you like it on your pizza, there is nothing better. I compare ranch everywhere else to their ranch here. Slices! Big Bill's lets you get slices to eat in or to go. I sometimes will get two different slices, my two favorites are chicken and jalepeno, and then a slice of the combo. I've had the sicilian pizza once, and it was very good also. It is huge! So order it if you have 5 plus people, or be ready to take a lot home. My newest discovery is the chopped salad. With the ranch on top even I finished my salad, and I'm not really a salad person. We've only gotten take-out, and didn't get pizza, but my ravioli were delicious. My boyfriend felt that his lasagna had too much cheese, and I'm curious whether the ravioli (cheese only) were actually made in -house, as they were very uniform, but overall the food was excelled and well-priced. Great pizza! I always miss the pizza from back east, but eating here reminds me of home!

With the hype surrounding this place, I was ready to be blown away. The fam decided on wings and a combo pizza to go. The wings seemed sweeter than most pizzeria wings (the bf reminded me that it's the pizza I needed to focus on). After tasting the pizza, I was impressed with only a couple of things. My top Yums about it? The crust/dough was delicious and cooked wonderfully. The amount of toppings on the combo were pretty impressive. And the pieces of sausage on the pie were great. Downside? The onions were burnt and I could have used a bit more sauce (sauce was tangy and tasted fresh). All in all, I would definitely eat here again! Will need to try their sammichs soon :-) read more

Had been recommended to Big Bill's by a local. Couldn't have been more pleased! The pizza was delicious from sauce to crust. But this isn't the main reason for my 5 star rating. While the food was solid, their service was even better. We were greeted by a warm and friendly lady immediately upon entering the parlor. We were taken to our table immediately, after which they took our beverage orders. When I let our server Ainsley know that we were first time patrons interested in some recommendations, she brought us a full order of garlic knots to try! She was incredibly friendly, and with the help of some of her associates, stayed on top of our beverages the entire time we were there. Before we left, we were even offered a Girl Scout cookie :). Probably one of the best pizzas and garlic knots I have ever eatten. Truly a fabulous place. The best part is they're not a chain! I'm a fan of supporting local businesses. Got takeout from here for the first time. Being a Saturday, the takeout wait was super long. We waited an hour to pick up our food. The place was packed inside and the two individuals in front of us had their meals refunded because the staff actually forgot to place their pizzas in the oven. Needless to say we received our food and immediately left. We should have checked it. We got home to find that my husbands pizza was missing all the toppings he'd ordered. My individual slice had a fistful of veggies thrown on it that unfortunately weren't even cooked. The Caesar salad I ordered came with lettuce and blue cheese dressing. Needless to say, a poor excuse for a salad at all, much less what I'd requested. Called the restaurant to request a resolution to a disappointing meal and the manager notified us that the veggies on pizzas were never cooked despite other Yelp customer's photos indicating the contrary. Ultimately we were refunded the items we had issues with and that's why I've allotted 3 stars. While they went above and beyond with a resolution, I'm still disappointed because I didn't have a great meal like a lot of these other reviews indicate I should have. I don't live here so I can't say I'll ever be back, I had just hoped for a better experience and was really let down. read more

Easily the best pizza in South Denver, if not Denver overall. Big Bill's does New York pizza justice and has a no-frills approach. The restaurant can be extremely crowded, though a brisk (and friendly) takeout business helps considerably. Sandwiches and pastas are offered, but it's best to stick to the pizza--it's what they really do well. Their sauce and crust are savory and shouldn't be overshadowed by an abundance of toppings. This is far from my first bite at Big Bills but I must have failed to review this wonderful spot! Being a favorite for locals and visitors alike, it can get pretty crowded for lunch on on weekends. That is because the pizza is just that good. While I love love love their pizza, occasionally I venture out and have my other favorite...the lemon chicken. It has great flavor and I don't feel quite so naughty as when I finish off 3 or 4 slices of delicious pizza pie!
