Tonight we were jonesin' for delicious ribs and chicken. We found Big B's and called in an order for a family pack that included a whole chicken, a full rack of baby backs, three large sides, rolls and sauce. We drove out from Yorba Linda and were not disappointed. The ribs were crispy, tender, juicy and flavorful. The chicken juicy, smokey and delicious. We loved the potato salad and homestyle beans. Everything homemade. When I came in to pick up, the cashier and employees were so grateful and kind. Please support this terrific restaurant. There were a group of friends sitting in the parking lot eating take out from the restaurant in lawn chairs, all six feet apart, clearly they enjoyed their fave bbq spot too. read more

OK, I'm a believer that not everything is always perfect so I will try again another time but stopped by today and got the chicken and rib combo and an order of onion rings . Comes with two small sides and I asked if I could upgrade one to a larger size which I was told no. I told her I would have no problem paying the difference of course and she said that she couldn't do that so that's fine. Coleslaw and baked beans were very very good. Onion rings were absolutely amazing as well. The quarter chicken was a very small drumstick with thigh attached. OK I get it. No worries. Ribs were four bones. Chicken and ribs were good, not the best but good nevertheless. My problem comes that this order ended up costing me $41. $41 is more than I pay at Lucille's and I thought Lucille was expensive. OK, I get expensive as well, it's a different world. But the workers (two girls and one guy at the grill) acted as if I wasn't even there. Never asked if everything was OK seem to be bothered when I asked about upgrading the coleslaw and then when I cleaned up my table threw everything in the trashcan which is 2 feet away from where the girls were standing ,, nobody even said thank you ,have a great day or anything. Staff , work on your Customer service . You probably shouldn't be having a very involved conversation about your "previous life" and not able to address your customers. By the way, the only customers in the two table dining room. Sadly, my two star rating does not come due to the food, but more to the entire experience. Very small restaurant. Only two tables and a few bar stools at a counter. Really not the place to go for dine-in. I tried the chicken salad sandwich for lunch. It was acceptable. But, truthfully, would not re-order. The potato salad was rather bland and tasteless. Perhaps one of their other sides might be a better choice. read more

My first time being here and let me say I was surprised very much by their service and food. My boyfriend has know this place for like ever and we felt like having some beef ribs and came over to Big B's and saw they had curbside service. Right away we were greeted by Jared with such great personality, great smile, very polite young man. He helped us with the menu, we didn't have to wait too long to get our order. We parked and had a dinner date in the car and with the rainy day, it was just perfect. But damn those onion rings were huge and delicious. Our food had great flavor period. Definitely will be coming back. So go check them out and see for yourself what we're talking about and give them a review. First time going to this spot, my son had mentioned that he has been here. He loves the food. So after hearing that, I had to try it for myself. He was right, the food here was delicious! Our pickup order was finished earlier than expected, which was great for me, I was a bit ahead of my schedule. Once we got home and laid out the food, I was like shazam! I recently ate here with one of my friends. It was such a small spot, only 2 indoor tables and 2 outdoor benches. I ordered the bbq beef sandwich with a side of baked beans. The beans were terrible, the worst baked beans I've ever had. They were like pinto beans and didn't taste like bbq sauce. Bush's baked beans would have been 10x better. The sides were pretty small. My friend ordered the pulled pork with sausage. She took out food for her dad and he didn't like it. I definitely would not come back here. read more

I was told about this place from a lady at work and last night we were craving bbq so we made the short trip! Being from the south, it's hard to find bbq out on California that even slightly resembles what I'm used to, but this place is pretty close! I had pulled pork sliders with fries and beans! I was nearby and thought this would be a decent lunch spot. With decent average reviews, my friend and I decided to give it a chance. I am not sure the average is accurate, so based on the fact we will not return, I am giving a 1-star. The inside was clean and charming, but for $36, we weren't impressed. Overall the food wasn't appetizing. The BBQ pork sandwich was too salty and wasn't that great my friend only ate half. The chicken breast plate wasn't that great either. I ordered the chicken and ribs lunch combo. I got a roll with butter and fries for my side. The BBQ here isn't a low and slow cooking style they cook the BBQ like you would in your back yard. The chicken lunch was tasty and done perfectly. The Rib lunch was small (only 1/3 rack) and a little dried out but not terrible tasting. --Covid safety review-- The server was exercising covid protocols wearing mask and gloves. It was sort of sad to experience this location after almost 30+ years from being away from it. First of all, the customer service was good but could have gone without the cursing behind the counter between the employee's working. Secondly, the ribs were just ok and the bbq sauce was way too salty. I actually had to stop eating the ribs without the sauce after the second rib. It was just way to salty to eat. I've loved this spot for years now but today I was a bit disappointed... I called in my order but when I came in to pick it up I noticed all employees cooking and touching food had no gloves on. The germaphobe in me immediately freaked. It's only sanitary issues. The guy touching and arranging my sandwich had just came from the back outside and didn't wash his hands. Seriously some of my favorite bbq. Its all about that sauce. So one thing always drives me nuts about BBQ - almost everyone wants to make everything sweet. So its basically sweet sauce, sweet beans, sweet rolls, sweet coleslaw. This place has the best tangy savory sauce and well balanced sides. (No offense the sweet lovers). We moved away from Cali about 8 years ago and keep coming back here every chance we get when we are in town for work. Every time it pleases. Good folks, great food and decent prices. We had been craving a good some good bbq so Big B's is always a satisfying option. We called our order in and picked it up in 15 min so we could stuff our faces in the comfort of our own home. My husband and I ordered a full rack of ribs (next time ordering 2), hot wings, and fried zucchini. I'm a sauce person, so I personally love their tangy bbq sauce, I pour it all over their fall off the bone ribs. I also love their watery ranch, it's so good with the chicken wings and fried zucchini. We come back every time we want to pig out! Great food + great prices = outstanding value! My new "go-to" place for great bbq! Went here for the first time today. The guy behind the counter was prompt and friendly in taking my order. I ordered the "Baby Back Rib" family dinner. Large amount of food comes with this meal, easily enough to feed four adults. The ribs were moist, tender & delicious! For my sides, the Becket Beans were good and the coleslaw was excellent too! You get three sides with the family dinner and I thought the macaroni salad was decent, but will probably try the pasta salad next time. Only complaint is that they apparently do have hot links but they aren't on the menu... How you guys gonna sell them if you don't put them on the menu...? As noted in other reviews, no indoor dining really. It's definitely more of a takeout place, which is probably why their prices are so good especially compared to nearby places like Blake's Place, Leadbellys Barbecue and Meat Up BBQ... I have found my New BBQ spot I ordered the combination dinner ribs and chicken,the ribs were fall off the bone, chicken was tender juicy with a nice outside rub the sauce was tangy their BBQ reminded me of a mix between Kansas and Memphis their sides were tasty loved the macaroni salad,cole slaw needed a little more sweet cider vinegar,pasta salad was good, fried zucchini was excellent breading was spot on better than farmer boys I think,and dessert brownie with ice cream so delish I will definitely be placing another order from here read more
