9/2/25 Anything you get here is super delicious! Staff very friendly, lady who helped was fluent in Spanish!

    Full Slab lunch

Order the ribs for dinner! Family owned. Fast and friendly. Eat in the kitchen or the bar.

Stopped by for lunch and for the same price as most fast food I got a real meal. Can't beat that.

Stumbled upon this BBQ joint while looking for a new bakery in the same shopping center. My hubby loves BBQ, so we came back today to try it out. The place itself is small with 2 four top tables and a counter with stools along the side; there are a couple of picnic tables right outside if you prefer to eat al fresco. Hole in the wall comes to mind. BUT, the food was on point. My husband ordered a full rack of ribs and an order of onion rings that we shared. He was completely focused on his food and enjoyed every last bite! I ordered the pulled pork sliders ~ 3 sliders served on soft & fluffy (Hawaiian?) rolls with a generous amount of meat in each one. The pork was tender and flavorful and came with a cup of BBQ sauce for dipping. I chose the baked beans for my side. The onion rings were a good size portion and were my favorite part of the meal. One of the things I look forward to at BBQ places are Mac & cheese and cornbread; unfortunately, neither are offered here

BBQ Pork Sandwich - Thinly Sliced tenderloin pork served on a french roll w/ pickles and onion + includes a side (mac salad) $13.45

I tried Big B's Barbecue for the first time on Fri, 5/19/2023 for lunch with my coworkers. Customer Service: It took a while for the waitress to get to us after we were seated. It also took the food a while to get to us. The waitress had some recommendations for food, but she wasn't too attentive or checked in with us too much throughout our meal. One good thing is that the sauces were self-serve on the side so you can grab them yourself. Food: ++BBQ Pork Sandwich - Thinly Sliced tenderloin pork served on a French roll w/ pickles and onion + includes a side (mac salad) $13.45 - I was disappointed in my sandwich. The sliced tenderloin was tasty, not dry but the bread itself was a little dry. The size was not that big. - The Mac Salad was also very mediocre and a bit bland. Nothing about it stood out and I was quite disappointed since I should have gotten something else like cole slaw or fries that would have better complemented the sandwich. -I also thought this meal was a little pricey for what you get. Like although you get a side with your sandwich, both portions are not that big, to begin with. I also would not consider myself able to stomach huge portions, but yeah I wasn't that full after finishing my meal. Environment: Basically a bro's bar. Lots of CSU Fullerton decor, various Hollywood and sports trinkets. Although every inch of the walls was covered, everything worked and added to the restaurant's character. You could see where the owner's passions/interests lie and it's pretty cool to see it in person. There are also games available along with multiple tv screens so I'm sure this place is packed when there are games playing! All in all, I'm not very excited about Big B's. I can see the hype, but it's not for me. I'm interested in trying their other bbq items (just 'cause I've heard good things) but sadly, I would not choose to come back to the location itself.

    Close up of ribs.

They have good hours. Open 7 days a week from 11am to 9pm. Slightly different times on the weekends. You can get it served next door at Brian's while you enjoy a drink. They get to you pretty quick and you are served within 10-12 minutes of ordering. I had the ribs lunch (under $20) and it came with a side. The Baby back ribs were tasty and tender. The potato salad was good also. The bbq sauce was right on as well. I had to request that my table be wiped clean, as this was my only negative. I will return and try the chicken next time.

Mediocre at best and very expensive for what you get. Ribs used to be very tender but tonight they were kind of chewy.

Delicious and mouth watering BBQ. Fish taco Fridays are great with a pint of IPA or whatever quenches your thirst.

Ask the Community - Big B's Barbecue

Do they sell chicken ala carte?

I don't think so, but they do catering, so it might be on their menu?

    How is the coleslaw?

Didn't sample but potato salad is excellent.

The inside of the restaurant looks like it may have been recently updated ~ it's nicely arranged with a good amount of seating. Orders are placed at the counter and your food is brought to your table when it's ready. Since it was our first visit, the lady at the front was happy to answer our questions and make suggestions. Everything is freshly made to order, so be prepared for a short wait. Plates come with a cup of egg drop soup (which came up piping hot and was very flavorful) that is served to be enjoyed while you wait for your main dish. My foodie friend ordered a fish dish with the Java rice. I chose the beef rib plate and also went with the Java rice. Siopao was a new featured item and apparently they're known for their bibingka, so I added those as well because at this point, why not right? While my friend enjoyed her fish, she said it could have used more seasoning and she wished that she didn't have to pick out the bones. My beef ribs were SOOOO good!! And the Java rice had a really nice flavor that went perfectly with the ribs. Since we had so much food, we split the siopao (a steamed pork bun), and I can't even begin to describe the bibingka ~ it was rich and delicious, with a slightly sweet & creamy filling. I'd have to have another one to better describe its flavor more accurately. I'm so glad to have discovered Tony's! I can't wait to go back!!!

We entered with leftovers from Din Tai Fung, and rather than simply asking us about the bag or explaining the establishment's policy, she immediately accused us of bringing alcohol inside and turned the situation into an argument. The way she spoke to us was rude, accusatory, and completely lacking in professionalism. The interaction was so unpleasant that we decided to leave immediately rather than stay and spend any money at the establishment. What made the interaction even more frustrating was watching her immediately turn around afterward and warmly hug another customer as though nothing had happened. The stark difference in how she treated us compared with other guests made the entire interaction feel especially hostile and unwelcoming. Someone working behind the bar should know how to communicate policies to customers respectfully without immediately making accusations or escalating a simple situation. Management should seriously address her conduct and whether this is the type of customer service they want representing Bourbon Street. After this experience, I have no intention of returning.

Jacob took my order shortly after I sat down. His demeanor and self presentation were well suited for this bar & the line of work. I don't drink much, so I simply asked for a pineapple juice. Jacob poured the glass, served the glass, and took my money more expediently than most bartenders--even during a slower time of night. The juice kept me loose too. 5 stars.
