The Not So Good: Overall, the food is too salty! I've never had salty coleslaw before, so that was weird. I took a couple bites of the coleslaw and baked beans and tossed the rest. The hot link was also salty with a strong black pepper flavor. I guess I expected spicy hot to come from chili peppers, so didn't care for it. On the other hand, the cornbread was dense, chewy, and didn't taste good. The fried okra had zero flavor (also no sauce), although I doubt a sauce would've improved it. I Asked what to order she gave me the typical most expensive options and not what was best to eat, Alot of off duty cops inside the restaurant which made it uncomfortable and i overwhelmingly felt like a real minority for the first time in my life even tho im american born, and the way they just kept staring Which is what probably made the food not good. Hands down the BEST BRISKET I've EVER had. By a lot. And I eat a LOT of bbq being carnivore. Tri-tip was very good, links very good, hubby gave the stamp of approval on the mac and slaw. None of their sauces taste good at all. Vinegar overpowers their sauces. More bitter, less sweet. If you don't eat pork, don't get these beef ribs. Almost always overly charred/burnt, not tender or meaty, very salty, and don't taste smoked at all. I have them 3 chances and even went to the Sahara cimmaron location before making my judgement. first time visit - expected more but got less... the serving sizes are small to say the least but the price is not equal to the portions served ... the tri-tips (actually a tri-tip) was very dry... tasted as if they used liquid smoke instead of actually smoking it in a real smoker... the briquet was moist but that was all it was as it tasted like liquid smoke as well... we then went to road kill grill and ordered the same items - their portions were at least double and had a natural flavor to everything... sorry but being new to vegas made me try both but one made me make the other as the best... sorry to big b texas but it was not worth the trip... read more

Honestly, kind of a letdown. Everything here is super under seasoned -- like they just forgot the salt and spices. Brisket, ribs, sides, all pretty bland. Should anyone ask where you can get good BBQ in Vegas, 3 places come to mind including Big B's. You can buy meat by the pound, sides by the pint/ quart or half pan or get combos. They have chicken, smoked turkey, hot links, tri tip, brisket, baby back ribs, beef ribs, pulled pork, po boy, salad, and brisket sandwich. For sides they have corn on the cob, creamed corn, corn bread, Mac and cheese, bbq beans, coleslaw, French fries, green beans, fried okra, side salad, pasta salad, and potato salad. I got food to-go. I wanted to sample a little bit of everything so, I got the 3-meat plate combo with pulled pork, brisket, and ribs. For my sides I got mac and cheese, and French fries. They give you bbq sauce. All the meats were delicious. The meat on ribs was so tender I could lift it up and the meat would fall off the bone and nothing would stick to it. Yes, you will need the bbq sauce and make sure you mix it enough. The fries were good, and the Mac and cheese was pretty good. I tried the pecan pie. And I love a good pecan pie. However, their pecan pie didn't have much pecans, the pie crust was a tie bit salty and the filling didn't have much flavor. Skip this next time. read more

Epic fail. I'm staying at my daughters house which is a good 20 minutes drive. I came here today to get a brisket burger which is AWESOME. Unfortunately for me, they did not have any burgers thawed out at 3:46pm??? I guess I need to find another place to satisfy my cravings today. This is the Henderson location. When you first walk in you get immersed in a wonderful smoked meat smell, I'm surprised the smoke alarms are all not going off! The aroma envelops you and are a great prelude to the wonderfulness to come. The service is typical of most bbq places you would encounter in Texas bbq restaurants. Tables with various dipping sauces and a roll of paper towel when you indulge in eating and getting your hands and face full of sauce. I ordered the brisket and baby back ribs plus sides of corn and their wonderful beans. I really wanted beef ribs but they are having supply chain issues getting the beef ribs, I guess I'm not the only one that loves it. Their prices are very very reasonable for the work and love that goes into smoking the wonderful meats. The brisket was moist and thinly sliced, I'm used to slices thicker but now i know to let them know ahead when I order. The baby back ribs were moist but a little overcooked for my liking but then again most people think my food is undercooked. Great service and atmosphere. The price is reasonable the portions are a little small on the Texas side but the quality is good. Only issue is my brother's beef ribs were a little overdone or they reheated from the night before. I will be coming back to try the ribs myself. I would give it a 4.5 out of 5. read more

It's me again, I am back! I'll be honest, reading some of the reviews and some of the responses, I was not expecting to write another review for Big B's- let alone a positive one honestly. One of my main concerns were if I were to get any reaction/messages from the other owner, Natalia who was supposed to be my first contact. Natalia did in fact contact me, she messaged me on Yelp, and called me as soon as she had the chance. Speaking to her was very different than when I spoke to her husband. She made sure that when she called me it was a good time for me, she asked if it was okay to text me when we communicated, asked for feedback, and made me feel heard with the feedback I had for the staff, food, situation, and also even asked what I would do. She made sure to acknowledge and respect the fact that I have had experience in the food & beverage industry and could not stop apologizing for the unfortunate incident I had at their location. Natalia has been keeping in contact with me over the fall, she has offered medical services and assistance, and has been nothing but respectful, kind, and has made time for me when I have a question or a concern. She has also invited my family and I back to try their food again and again, and I have advised we will think about getting back to Big B's. Now on my end, as I said in my original post, the food was not the best bbq I had- but both Natalia and Brian did take my opinion into consideration and have taken responsibility for their faults. She has been very kind, and I cannot thank her enough for being an amazing source for me to be able to reach out to about the issue I had. Overall, if you have an issue and provide feedback, whether it be here, or directly on the phone with them, in my personal experience and opinion they are a family who wants success for their business, and I wish them the best! The facility was clean, organised, and had plenty of space for larger groups. 1/2 rack baby back ribs: the meat fell off the. One and the fad dropped off my chin. The bbq sauce is served in a bottle and I suggest you use as much as you like. The red sauce was excellent. 2 piece chicken: tender and juicy on the inside, crispy and flavorful on the inside. Big B's has some of the best BBQ in Vegas. I really thought I had reviewed this place years ago, because we've been customers off and on for at least 6 years. Anyhow, we dined here last night at this OG location and it's been awhile. The brisket meal that I had just reminded me of how delicious their food is. I had the 1 Meat meal with mac n cheese and cole slaw, plus added cornbread. This is such a terrific meal and it was served up so fast. Some BBQ places have great meat but the sides aren't so good; that's not the case at Big B's as their sides are great, too. There is plenty of seating here which has made it perfect for group outings with our friends. I'm glad to see that they're still around and still serving up wonderful BBQ. read more

Visited Big B's around 4pm on a Friday afternoon after work. I was excited for some Texas bbq coming from someone who visits Texas quarterly. Entering the restaurant it was quiet with only a few other patrons in the large space. The restaurant smelled great with meat, smoke, and wood in the air. I ordered a 3 Meat plate and chose brisket, beef ribs, and jalepeno and cheese sausage. Bear in mind they charge $5 to select ribs for an option. The plate comes with 2 sides which I chose pasta salad and Cole slaw. Along with a fountain drink the total with tax and tip came out to just over $40, not cheap for a single person, but also to be expected for some good bbq. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed when the tray was set down in front of me with 2 pitiful strips of dry "fatty" brisket, incredibly dry beef ribs that were about 90% bone and 10% meat. The only good meat out of the three was the sausage, it was really delicious. The coleslaw tasted generic and the pasta salad was surprisingly good. I don't see a reason to return unless portions increase or I'm just in the mood for a good sausage. read more

Keep in mind - the associate will ask if you'd like the brisket lean or more fat. I ordered it with more fat, as that's where all the flavor is. Brisket was delicious! The fat was well distributed and tasted smoky in all the right areas. It didn't need BBQ sauce in my opinion, the flavors enhanced with mustard. The chicken was well cooked, juicy, and tender. Ordered a ton of food from here hoping to have a great experience, but found myself not really digging everything. I will say the Ribs were definitely the best thing we had! Ribs were cooked just right and they didn't skimp on the meat, which I appreciated. The brisket was ok; it was a little dry, but flavorful. Pull pork was juicy, but could have used some more seasoning. Out of all the sides we had, the cream corn was definitely the best! If I had to do it over again, I would just order the ribs and find sides from elsewhere. Definitely worth trying...Go check this place out! read more
