None of their sauces taste good at all. Vinegar overpowers their sauces. More bitter, less sweet. If you don't eat pork, don't get these beef ribs. Almost always overly charred/burnt, not tender or meaty, very salty, and don't taste smoked at all. I have them 3 chances and even went to the Sahara cimmaron location before making my judgement. Brisket was dry and also salty. I'm sure the other meats are good if you're into pork and chicken. I'd rather use no bbq than any of their sauces. read more

Ordered a ton of food from here hoping to have a great experience, but found myself not really digging everything. I will say the Ribs were definitely the best thing we had! Ribs were cooked just right and they didn't skimp on the meat, which I appreciated. The brisket was ok; it was a little dry, but flavorful. Pull pork was juicy, but could have used some more seasoning. Out of all the sides we had, the cream corn was definitely the best! If I had to do it over again, I would just order the ribs and find sides from elsewhere. Definitely worth trying...Go check this place out! read more

first time visit - expected more but got less... the serving sizes are small to say the least but the price is not equal to the portions served ... the tri-tips (actually a tri-tip) was very dry... tasted as if they used liquid smoke instead of actually smoking it in a real smoker... the briquet was moist but that was all it was as it tasted like liquid smoke as well... we then went to road kill grill and ordered the same items - their portions were at least double and had a natural flavor to everything... sorry but being new to vegas made me try both but one made me make the other as the best... sorry to big b texas but it was not worth the trip... read more

What happened to the FLAVOR? The brisket is tender and moist but there wasn't any flavor on 8/14/25 at the Sahara location. That was disappointing. I hadn't eaten at the St Rose location for a year or more because the brisket lacked flavor. Even SALT would've been helpful. Had I soaked it in sauce, it may have been better. Okay, I would have to try them again and dine in. Like genuinely dine in. I was stopping by to get a to go plate, but ended up sitting in the restaurant to eat some of the food. Now, it was amazing!!!!! I say I need to go back to get the entire dine in experience. Next time, I will order in, have my food brought to me, and sit enjoy my food without rushing. Visited Big B's around 4pm on a Friday afternoon after work. I was excited for some Texas bbq coming from someone who visits Texas quarterly. Entering the restaurant it was quiet with only a few other patrons in the large space. The restaurant smelled great with meat, smoke, and wood in the air. I ordered a 3 Meat plate and chose brisket, beef ribs, and jalepeno and cheese sausage. Bear in mind they charge $5 to select ribs for an option. The plate comes with 2 sides which I chose pasta salad and Cole slaw. Along with a fountain drink the total with tax and tip came out to just over $40, not cheap for a single person, but also to be expected for some good bbq. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed when the tray was set down in front of me with 2 pitiful strips of dry "fatty" brisket, incredibly dry beef ribs that were about 90% bone and 10% meat. The only good meat out of the three was the sausage, it was really delicious. The coleslaw tasted generic and the pasta salad was surprisingly good. I don't see a reason to return unless portions increase or I'm just in the mood for a good sausage. read more

Today we DoorDashed and, to my surprise, my food was not acceptable. I had the Chicken and Pulled Pork two-meat plate. When I bit into the chicken, I found the meat around the bone to be raw! Not pink, not red; RAW! (See photo.) The styro-foam container with the Chicken and Pulled Pork was full of grease (see photo); so the meat also tasted of grease. I won't be ordering take-out or delivery from Big B's again. Additionally, the corn on the cob was a little undercooked; it had no seasoning at all. No butter, no salt, no pepper, nothing. Best food at best prices. I paid $16.99 for a burger and 2 sides. The burger had a generous meat patty, My first side was Potato Salad, It was good, and had celery to give it a good crunch. My second side was French fries, it seems like it could use some more flavour but also seemed homemade. My colleague and I happened upon this restaurant after a long day attending a conference. The front face of the restaurant stuck out as it was surrounded by bland office buildings. The inside is differently styled from other restaurants...lots of knickknacks, picnic tables and benches for groups and some smaller tables with lots of open space. Ordering is super simple...line up, order at the register and pay. Nothing fancy. My colleague and I separately order a three meat combo...and we both regretted it because it's a lot of food! I put a nice dent in it (during dinner) but I ended up taking the rest back to my hotel and having some brisket for breakfast! Lol I think you get a lot of food for the money and for me was a great value. Ultimately, I can't say anything negative about the bbq; great flavor and falling off the bone tender. My only thing is the over all lack of restaurant service...that's their concept, everything is self serve which I'm not a huge fan of but that's just my sensibility. Stopped by out of necessity on Thanksgiving. We had to find dinner on our way to visiting father in hospital. The staff was so amazing - kind and patient with everyone. The food was only eclipsed by the staff. We had the 3 meat plates, a brisket burger, and a rack of ribs. Generous portions and amazing flavor. Some of the best brisket I've had in a long time. The spot is one of the better Texas style BBQ in Vegas. I recently went for take out - I ordered a half pound of brisket, two leg portions of chicken, and a #6 sandwich with brisket. Keep in mind - the associate will ask if you'd like the brisket lean or more fat. I ordered it with more fat, as that's where all the flavor is. Brisket was delicious! The fat was well distributed and tasted smoky in all the right areas. It didn't need BBQ sauce in my opinion, the flavors enhanced with mustard. The chicken was well cooked, juicy, and tender. I want to think it's Rotisserie style. The sandwich was delicious too, very simple: bread and meat. Adding either sides into the sandwich or barbecue sauce is your choice. This is about 8 minutes away from my house and I had to give it a try. This is low quality meats. I rate my entire meal 2 out of 10. This is definitely not some Texas bbq. For how much I spent here, it was not worth it all. Not even my corn was good, just plain simple corn, no flavor. The order came with 5 pork ribs which was a good amount but they were really dry like they'd been sitting out for a while. The moist brisket was definitely the best, super juicy and flavorful. Pull pork was very bland no flavor at all Potato Salad was sour and the potatoes weren't cooked very well Creamed corn felt like it canned or frozen Coleslaw was sour and you don't get that mmm out of! We are definitely not coming back here. There was a reason why at 7:30pm the store was dead so that should have gave us a point to not try it. Very disappointing 4th of July dinner. Invited friends who had never been here. They,too,were disappointed. Arrived at 6:30. Sign at the entry to the line said "No Brisket". That is what my wife and I had been craving. As it turns out that is what our friends wanted too. I'd understand if it was 8 pm on a normal weeknight. Not 6:30 on a holiday. That's just poor planning or poor cooking schedule. After ordering and paying.....go to get drinks. Wife wanted sweet tea. That was out. The soda machine had many flavors out and I heard several people..including our friends..frustrated because it forced them to a choice they didn't want. Food arrives at the table....with the server telling me oh we are also out of turkey.....and asking what else I wanted. Very disappointing. I don't mind paying $50 when we are getting what we wanted...but when it's not what we wanted....not very happy about that. Our friends spent about the same and were disappointed too. They suggested we go to Bell's next time. Saw quite a few employees working but nobody really stood out as leading/managing what was clearly a dinner disaster. We ordered the three meat platter (brisket, baby back ribs and hot links) with sides of corn on cob, fried okra, cole slaw and seasoned fries. The meal was extra large! The platter could easily feed three adults! The brisket was ordered "moist" per service clerk and it was just as promised! The baby back ribs were slightly seasoned and the meat was fall off the bones! The hot links were tasty and not spicy hot. The cole slaw was on the sweeter side to balance off the spicy bbq sauce. Corn was a bit overcooked and a little mushy. The seasoned fries were savory and a large portion. The fried okra was crunchy and we topped it with ranch dressing. The self serve drinks includes several ice teas and a carbonated beverage service that included Diet Coke with orange and vanilla. Delicious Diet Coke combo. We also ordered a slice of apple pie. The slice was Texas size! The pie crust was a bit soft to my taste. The apple filling was nice and not too sweet. They will heat the pie up if requested. Didn't really care for the barbecue sauce nor the excessively fatty brisket. The fries and macaroni and cheese were fine. But I have to mention (without getting inappropriate) the fact that me, and two other members of my party had... let's just say stomach issues after dining here.
