Last week, on Thursday, our family visited with my Dad for an early Father's Day dinner. Upon arriving we were quickly seated (love the online waitlist), and just as quickly had our drink order and then food orders taken. When our salads arrived, my Dad had taken a bite, maybe two, and then it got caught in his throat resulting in him choking and ultimately being sick all into his salad bowl. (I need to pause here and be very clear this was NO fault of TXR- we later learned at the hospital that evening that he had a medical issue resulting in muscles not working appropriately for swallowing). It is what happened AFTER this that is earning the 5 stars. We immediately notified the server of the issue, asked to change our order to a 'to-go' order, and took the family and food on the go so that we weren't disrupting any other guests moving forward. At no point was our waitress or any of the staff rude or short- nor did they express frustration with the situation- which I know was definitely not expected. The food was delicious when we finally ate it and my Dad is healing well after a couple days in the hospital to figure out what was going on. The food is ALWAYS good... steaks are great as is the herb crusted chicken. Italian dressing is top notch (wish they would start bottling and selling it!). read more

As we all know it's hot out in Vegas from June to September I've been wanting to try the family meals for awhile now. I spent $48.76 for the chicken critter meal. Ordering was easy and pickup was easy as well. The pictures on the website are deceiving. They make you think you are getting a tray of chicken and salad. When I got there the rep said they ran out of tops to the trays I find that hard to believe. It's more like shrinkflation. Same price smaller amount. This was my first time at Texas Roadhouse! I know, I know. We had an amazing experience! My mother and I had just got started on our trip to New York, wanted a place to eat before checking in to the hotel by the airport. We both got a side salad, shared the 10oz ribeye, with Mac n cheese side and broccoli. It was more than enough food! I definitely put down about 3-4 rolls as well, but don't judge me!!! I couldn't help myself! Our server was amazing! He was so quick and attentive, I wish I had gotten his name for a shout out! I'll see if we can narrow it down, he was working in the far back section by the restrooms almost against the wall he had the 3 tables in a line. We were there 5/27! Had such a great experience at Texas Roadhouse! This was my first visit to a Texas Roadhouse. The ambiance was awesome--lots of TVs everywhere to keep track of the games, cute western decor and the music keeps the energy up. And just when you're mid-bite into their OMG, sooo goood rolls.....the music shifts and suddenly the entire staff is perfectly synchronized in the aisles, doing a line dance. It adds to such a fun, high-energy environment. The bartenders and servers killed it with the great service, and the food was so tasty. On top of everything, the whole establishment was noticeably clean, even though I heard that people can throw their peanut shells on the ground! Definitely coming back soon! read more

Excellent food, excellent rolls, excellent atmosphere & excellent service. Jason was our server. Those rolls, mmm, with the butter. Stopped at one. The onion blossom appetizer. Delicious. Stopped after a few bites. Better to stay within my limit. $17.95 - chicken fried chicken, white gravy, 2 sides: salad- house - blue cheese dressing, & seasoned rice. I finished the salad, mostly. I always cut my chicken fried chicken in half. I took a few bites of the rice. The flavor was excellent. (Yes, we had leftovers.) I was at around 7.5, but the ice cream put me at 8 - 8.50. It was my husband's step-dad's birthday. (*Cake at their home a little later.) I always recommend this place to other people because it is consistently good. My first time ever at a Texas Roadhouse and I have heard that this place is pretty good and it definitely was a good time. Came here for an early dinner and the parking lot was already full and already a line inside. We had to wait a little bit but once we got sat down they gave us their homemade bread with this delicious sweet butter yum! Service was super quick and friendly. We ordered the blossom appertizee which is deep-fried onion sliced up. This is a must order! For a garden salad to have some vegetables and also a small size steak because I didn't want to be overly stuffed. You get two sides for every entree so mine was a salad and a baked potato. The chili was tasty and I would for sure come back! The noise level is a little loud though. But overall the food was pretty nice. read more

We had a great experience here! As expected from visiting other Texas Roadhouses, it was loud, high-energy, and pretty packed when we went, so we did have about a 20-30 minute wait for a table when we arrived. Antonio was our server and he was awesome!! Super funny, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. My mom asked if she could get mushrooms that weren't smothered and/or sautéed in butter and oil, and Antonio actually worked with the kitchen to have some made specially for her (which they typically don't do). That kind of effort really stood out and made the experience feel extra welcoming. Since it was Wednesday, I asked about the Wild Wednesday $13.99 8oz sirloin deal we had at other locations, but learned not every Roadhouse location offers it and this one doesn't. That said, they did have dine-in early specials, which was still a nice option. Food came out quickly and everything was cooked perfectly, especially the steaks! If I had one tiny complaint, it would be that my baked potato wasn't quite as encrusted in salt as I've had at another location, but it was still tasty and hit the spot! We had friends recommend this place as their favorite Steak house when near Vegas, and they were right! Perfectly cooked rib eyes, rolls that are to die for and delicious sides. And the $5 margarita was a nice surprise. We started with the fried giant onion (Cactus Blossom) which was so good. Well. If i could describe this restaurant in one word it would be.....LOUD. Possibly chaotic. I'll elaborate.....I went on a weekend night and the music, chatter, crowd, staff singing happy birthday to people filled the air. there were so many staff running around filling orders i didn't understand how they did it. Listen....the service was quick enough despite the crowd, which was impressive. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed but managed to keep things moving smoothly. The atmosphere might not be for everyone, especially if you're looking for a quiet dining experience. However, if you're in the mood for a lively environment with good food options, this place delivers. It's probably best to visit during off-peak hours if you prefer a more relaxed setting. Overall, it's worth trying at least once for the food alone....The menu had so many decent options and it made you want to try them all. The meal i had was very tasty! read more

Oh my gosh this place is so good!! I've never been to a Texas Roadhouse before and decided to try it after a long day of shopping. My party of 3.5 were sat quickly and greeted by Mo who was fantastic! Drinks came fast with some bread and honey butter. My 12 oz ribeye was cooked perfectly medium rare. Being an island girl, I thought I'd see what this spot was about. I am happy and kinda sad I did. Now that I have had those rolls, I wish I could forget about them lol. I knew the moment I touched them I would come home and dream about them. It's best for my Waist that I live an ocean away from these rolls, if I'm being honest. They're so soft and squishy but bounce right back. Best when they're warm and fresh with or without the house butter. Still good when taken home but just not my first choice. Ok so now that I've raved about the rolls... the steak was good, the baked potato was good and the ribs were really good. We'd say you can skip the cactus blossom (battered & fried onion). Never even opened the peanuts. Employees were great. But seriously, even if all else were not so great, I'd still come back for those rolls *tear*. read more

Stopped by with a friend and sat at the bar. The bartenders were nice and thank you to the gentleman sitting next to me for treating my friend and I to a drink- double shot of Crown Royal. Took the family here for dinner on a Monday but we still had to wait for around 30 minutes to be seated. The food coming out was pretty fast (15 min wait). But the ordering took a while. The food was yummy but still very salty. The rolls were delicious! The sweet potato was quite good too. The sirloin was cooked medium well but the New York steak strip was slightly well done when we asked for medium well. The New York steak was more chewy and dense. They gave a little birthday brownie whipped topped treat at the end. The peanut was complimentary to take home. They also did this cute little dance while we were all eating. read more

Giving this place a try to see if has improved on all categories Service , food quality , because the last couple times I've been here no seasoning , the steak was very tough and over cooked , and we get horrible service when the staff is young and when we get an older server they rush us. Per usual the restaurant is not your cleanest but it has improved specifically the Henderson location. We had a reservation and we still had to wait about 20 minutes past the reserved time. They are out of a handful of items one of them being the prime rib. So that is a bummer but there are other options. Okay the onion was great as always. The bread was good extremely hot and I burnt the roof of my tongue so it got me wondering if the bread went into the microwave? The ribeye did not get seasoned and it was definitely rare instead of medium rare. Had tons of fat but over it was decent not too tough but not to tender. If your not to crazy about your steaks this is definitely the place for you. The sides are all about the same as everywhere else nothing spectacular. This is about my one time a year fix. read more

This has historically been our favor go to steakhouse, but has slipped the last few times we have went. The last time, I ordered bar drink, 10 minutes later they came out and said, we don't have the right stuff to make it.... Ok, so then I ordered a second drink... another 10 minutes goes by and this time the manager came by to tell me that they couldn't make that drink either... so I ordered a third one.... Just had dinner at Texas Roadhouse on Sunset in Henderson. Had their Sirloin steaks from their Early Dine menu. Our server, Miranda, was very attentive with our water glasses and warm bread. I loved seeing the servers dancing to the music! It was a great experience at this Texas Roadhouse, just as much as the one in Twin Falls, ID. I've been to one other Texas Roadhouse location one other time a few years before coming to the location at Sunset and Stephanie. Having tried it twice now at two locations, I'm starting to think this is just not the place for me. For one, it is too damn loud for me. I don't like loud places. Especially when I am trying to enjoy dinner with my family. Honestly, why does the music need to be so loud? Was the new generation born hearing impared? Yeah, fine, I get this is a "roadhouse" but I value my hearing more than a theme. Sorry, I don't mean to rant. Changing subjects, the food on this last visit was disappointing for me. My dad and step mom seemed to enjoy their meals. My step mom took home some leftovers. Not the mashed potatoes, though. There was nothing wrong with them. They're just true mashed and kind of lumpy. Fine for me but for her expecting creamy whipped potatoes it was a surprise she didn't fully appreciate. As for my meal, I was less than enthused. I had a chicken sandwich. The flavor was fine but the chicken was not pleasent. I don't know if it was a chicken with some years on it or a body builder chicken or what. But it was tough. The meat was almost crunchy. Grilled chicken should not be crunchy. I didn't even finish the last few bites of chicken. I didn't want to. I've had this issue at other restaurants before. I don't blame the eshtablishment. I blame the bird. The evening was not a total bust. The dinner rolls are amazing as is the butter to go with them. The fries I got with my sandwich were good. Service was also good. We had an attentive and friendly server. Our food came out fairly quickly. No complaints there. It is mostly the vibe that I don't like. Like I said, this just isn't the place for me. I was excited for my first visit to Texas Roadhouse. I only heard good things about the place. It was my nephews birthday so decided go there plus none of us been before. I like the vibe from minute walk in got high energy vibe, lots of fun party atmosphere, and got personality. Or if birthday brings out mini Trojan horse with real saddle sit on plus get wear cowboy hat and staff sings happy birthday. If that not personality. The menu is pretty big. I could have whole bowl for meal be happy. The smothered chicken portion size huge all dishes we all got. The chicken perfect nice moist well seasoned and the gravy on top awesome. The BREAD comes with meal. Always had Olive Garden most addicting need make point not overload bed or meal. It honey plus sugar in them. So addicting. Overall great spot!
