I waited about 12 to 15 minutes so if you're ordering over the phone and it's a large order take this into consideration. A drink was offered while I wait. The customer service here is fantastic! The atmosphere was upbeat and the decor was great! My coworkers and I enjoy the food, macaroni and cheese was pretty tasty. For the meats we had. Brisket, pulled pork, ribs, and everything was delicious. We really like the barbecue sauce. This is my favorite bbq place. I will forever come here whenever I'm in vegas now. I literally never liked brisket until I had it here. So juicy and tender The side all are really tasty. Pls do better. :)* Note: We tried Wild Fig BBQ recently and it's the BEST here in the valley that we've had in a LONG time! Pls don't waste your time or money at Big B's! This was the third time giving this establishment a try, and it will definitely be the last for me and my family. The first time, not so bad, so we decided to try again. The second time was by far the worse, as not only was most of the food dry and proportions inconsistent across plates, but a HUGE metal object was lodged and found in one of the macaroni and cheese sides. (We later found out that it had been from their refrigerator and had broken loose.) The third time was us giving it another try after the unfortunate metal in the macaroni and cheese incident, and that turned out to be torture! Upon finding the large piece of metal in our macaroni and cheese, we reached out to the store and spoke with a VERY pleasant manager named Pablo or Paulo, I believe. He was a rock star and willing to help, stating that he was very sorry and wanted to both remake our meals and refund our money for our visit, but he thought it best to reach out to his boss and have her to rectify the matter. Within a short amount of time, we spoke with Natalia, who was friendly enough, but not empathetic or seeming like providing superior customer service was a top priority for her or Big B's BBQ. In hindsight, we wished that we had dealt strictly with Pablo regarding the matter. Pablo seemed to truly grasp the severity of the situation and our concern that this foreign object had been found in our macaroni and cheese and had we NOT seen it, by the grace of God, we could've been SEVERELY injured, could have choked and possibly had died! (It seems dramatic, but it could've been a reality... please view the images of the metal piece). Natalia did apologize for the issue and explained what the piece was and where it has came from, but it was more matter of fact with a tone that was very formal, again, which lacked empathy. Natalia offered to give us two plates on a future visit for the trouble with no mention of refunding us, like Pablo had suggested. We initially declined, as we did not want to try this place out again after that issue, especially thinking in terms of sanitation and cleanliness, and we were okay with the decision. Natalia insisted on giving us the two plates, and so, we decided to accept the offer for a future return. Natalia instructed us to text or call her at the provided number when we'd like to receive the two plates and said that she'd be sure to get it all setup for us at the restaurant. We weren't thrilled to have to go about it in this way, but there seemed to be nothing else that we could do at that point. Fast forward a bit and we had been running around all day for Christmas and nothing had been cooked for dinner or decided on, so we thought that we'd give Big B's the opportunity to make it right with the two plates. We text Natalia a very friendly text with the details of what we'd like for the two plates, and we receive in writing what one would expect after communicating with her via telephone... the message was short and dry. We provided her with a time that we would arrive for the meal and upon arrival the meals were not completed and the staff had no clue what we were talking about. We showed them the text from Natalia, and they contacted her regarding it and decided after that they would make the plates (see pics), but what we received was awful! We received a tiny amount of turkey, a small handful of pulled pork and a few thin pieces of brisket. The only great thing was the cream style corn. The plates looked like they were incomplete, thrown together and not the proper portions for a three meat plate. Natalia did reach back out to us to ask how everything was, but tbh, we felt at the time, silence was golden because we had nothing good to say about the experience. On top of the scare with the metal object on our second visit, we were made to feel humiliated on the third one, which was intended to make up for the second visit! All in all, we would never return to Big B's BBQ for another insult. We're sure that our review and lack of patronage will not stop it's growth or hurt its bottom line, but it should be said that ALL customers deserve better than what we received on three visits there. We deserve stellar, safe service without compromising. Big B's BBQ dropped the ball several times and could use more training on proper sanitation, cleanliness, customer service and follow-through. With my close family member having more than 35 years in the service industry, and thriving at what she does, I have seen first hand how you should handle such situations and provide proper expectations and resolutions and this definitely was not it. read more

Big B's is one of my favorite BBQ spots in Vegas. The employees greet you right away and treat you like you're family. You order then pay and grab an open table and they bring your food to you. On the day we stopped in, we ordered a kids meal with turkey sliders and fries and a one meat plate with moist cut brisket with baked beans and corn for the sides. The food is always good and flavorful. The meats have a great smoked flavor and the bbq sauce is good. All of the side dishes I've had are really good. We got the 3 meat combo with ribs, tri-tip and delicious smoked turkey along with sweet tea for a drink on Thanksgiving Day! So glad this place was open on a holiday and it's near by my place. When traveling we like to sample local BBQ and this place has a lot of good reviews. The cashier patiently explained to me how to order and she was friendly. It's a cute Texas themed place with license plates and picnic tables. We split a 2 meat plate and I was surprised that I could add beef ribs for just $5 more. We had sliced brisket lean and the 2 beef ribs. The brisket was well seasoned and cooked. It was a bit dry but that didn't take away a lot of the enjoyment. The ribs were nicely charred and the crunchy bits were very tasty. But they were a bit tough for my taste. Sides we had were fries (5*), beans (4*) and creamed corn (5*). And the portion size was decent. We were not impressed with either sauce, but sauce wasn't needed so it wasn't a problem. They have a fancy Coke machine with all of the options. For sides, corn bread and corn on the cob Overall, every cut we had was juicy which was the most important thing. The main knock was on flavor. I visited this location for the first time and found it to be an enjoyable experience. The chicken, turkey, and baby back ribs were all cooked and tasted just right. So good that I didn't even use the barbecue sauce that came with the meal. The staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful in selecting from the menu. The place was clean, with a moderate noise level during lunch. The two minor downsides were that we had to sit on hard benches and that the salads were made with cheap iceberg lettuce. I recently visited Big B's Texas BBQ and had a great experience. What I liked: I really liked the atmosphere. There was an enormous amount of space and I really liked the theme, including license plates from all over the US, and flags representing every Texas university. Our servers were very friendly and accommodative too! I was initially going to get the baked beans, but after seeing other customers with the fries, I asked if I could swap it, and our waitress let the cooks know as soon as possible. In terms of the food itself, the meats were very tender, the sides were delicious and not too salty, and the mustard and BBQ sauce at the tables complimented our food well. What could be improved: Though the meat was very tender and had a smoky taste to it, I felt like there wasn't much flavor and I had to use BBQ sauce or mustard for almost every bite. Otherwise the sides were great and I think everything else went well! Overall, Big B's Texas BBQ is a place worth a visit. Would I return? This is a 4.5 star place and I am the worst reviewer (see my pic). But I know a bit about BBQ and love smoked meats and sides. I ordered two meat plate with moist brisket and hot link. My sides were bbq beans and fried okra. The moist brisket is the way to go. So flavorful and juicy...I liked that the smoke is not liquid smoke that is over powering. The hot link can be spicier in my opinion. The baked beans are good with two types of beans. It is on the tangier side because I think of their bbq sauce. The fried okra is awesome, with a good crust but tender inside! The mustard based bbq sauce is good with the brisket. It compliments the fattiness of the brisket. I am not always a fan of mustard based bbq sauce but this one is good. The bbq sauce is I think more vinegary than tomatoey. It is definitely tangy! The portions is definitely filling! Next time I am trying their ribs! This place will hit the spot if you are looking for quality bbq without the super sugary sides and sauces. The smoke is on point and savory. As active military, I rarely get a break, and this trip was meant to be a much-needed moment of relaxation--which unfortunately, this meal completely ruined. We ordered the ribs, and when they arrived, they were visibly undercooked. We politely sent them back to the kitchen to be finished. The second time they were brought out, they were not just cooked, but completely burned. The outside was charred and bitter, making them inedible. It's disappointing to see such a fundamental error happen twice on the same order. A good BBQ joint should be able to get ribs right the first time, or at least correct the mistake without serving charred food. This was a huge letdown. We left feeling frustrated and hungry.
