Mashed potatoes ($5 small) in to-go container. That's an entire top layer of meat gravy.

It's not all smoke and mirrors, but it's maybe a bit overrated on Yelp. Smokeshow BBQ is maybe the 3rd name at least that has appeared on this musical chairs of a business on an otherwise nondescript stretch of Gibson Rd in Henderson. My friend was nice enough to pick up a sampler of sorts, although all items are priced a la carte here (no combos, oddly), and bring it over to my place for us to divvy up. Brisket ($9 for 1/4 lb): specifically, the sliced brisket which barbecue enthusiasts tend to prioritize. Moderate smoke and pulls apart well. Decent on its own and better with both the regular BBQ sauce or the mango habanero. The BBQ sauce is a little sweet and a little tangy, while the mango habanero is very fruit-forward and saves the medium spicy kick for a few seconds later. Pork Belly ($7.50 for 1/4 lb): decent smoke and not too much fat, but also much less tender than you'd hope for, even resisting metal forks when it cools to room temp. Pulled Pork ($6.50 for 1/4 lb): not amazing, but certainly tender and not dry. A better choice than the pork belly if you have to pick one. Very reminiscent of the smoke on the brisket, so they probably really only have one wood and one smoker. Wings ($10 for 5 wings): a bit rubbery and whatever. Really needed the BBQ sauces to help. Mashed potatoes ($5 small): the typical American puree rather than a buttery French recipe or a chunky take, but with an interesting meat gravy that adds enough richness to make it interesting. Coleslaw ($5 small): creamy style slaw, but much more watery than I was hoping for. Absolutely vital for adding freshness to all of the above items though. Banana Pudding ($6.50): a stunning conclusion with creamy pudding, intense banana, and rich crumbled vanilla wafers. I remember trying a banana pudding specialty shop that wasn't this awesome. They did run out of both sausage and ribs by the relatively later time of day on this Sunday. That's too bad because I know my friend always tries the sausage at BBQ joints and I like to try ribs. Smokeshow is a great banana pudding spot where you can find some solid opening acts as well. Hopefully they'll have all the proteins in stock the next time I decide that I wanna have banana pudding.

BEST BBQ you will EVER have! Everything is made in house and to perfection. Joe and his crew have great customer service and kill it with their Pit Skills! You will find yourself saying over and over this is the BEST! Highly recommend. You're welcome in advance :)

One of the best smoked BBQ I've had this year. Ambiance was casual and quiet place to have late lunch. Price was reasonable. Smore cheesecake wasn't available for dessert. It was sold out by the time we were ordering. BBQ sauce was great with sandwiches but pulled pork was bit dry. Coleslaw was in my sandwich so it was bit messy to eat.

What a fun little BBQ spot! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in, which always makes the experience even better. The brisket and pork belly were both cooked perfectly! Tender, flavorful, and definitely the highlights of the meal. I'm honestly not a huge BBQ person, but I really enjoyed everything we tried. The tacos I made with the brisket turned out amazing! If you're looking for a great local BBQ place with good food and friendly service, this one is definitely worth checking out.

Get the beef rib it's huge, perfectly smoked, juicy, and charged on weight-it isn't on their menu IFKYK!! and the cole slaw is its perfect mate!! The staff is amazing and sweet and so attentive what more do you need? Why are you still reading this? Get there!

Just tried Smokeshow BBQ and I have a serious complaint... it's 40 minutes away from my house. Absolutely disrespectful to my gas tank. Now that we've addressed the real issue--this place is legit. The fatty brisket might be the best in town. Juicy, packed with flavor, and melts in your mouth exactly the way brisket is supposed to. No shortcuts, no dryness, just straight-up BBQ done right. Their in-house pickles deserve their own spotlight. Not some throwaway side--these are mandatory. Throw them on a brisket sandwich and suddenly everything makes more sense in life. Sausage links? Not your basic jalapeño cheddar situation. These have a unique flavor that actually stands out and somehow makes every other sausage link feel like it's been phoning it in. And the mashed potatoes with rib gravy... ridiculous. Creamy, peppery, rich in all the best ways--like comfort food that hit the gym and came back stronger. Overall: incredible food, great addition to the BBQ scene, and unfortunately located just far enough away to ruin my self-control. Will I drive 40 minutes again? Without hesitation. Probably already planning it. Highly recommend!

We were in the neighborhood and decided to try this BBQ spot. We already have a favorite place a little farther away, so we weren't necessarily looking for a replacement, just something new to try. The restaurant itself is very clean, which makes sense since we learned they've only been open for about six months. Even the bathroom was a pleasant surprise. We were greeted by the two gentlemen working behind the counter, and the setup lets you watch the food being prepared, similar to Chipotle or Jersey Mike's. We decided to sample a good portion of the menu: ribs, a brisket sandwich, banana pudding, a cornbread muffin, collard greens, potato salad, homemade lemonade, and French fries. I'm not sure what we were expecting, but we were completely blown away. Everything was delicious, but the collard greens absolutely stole the show. The ribs had just the right amount of sauce and smokiness, and the brisket sandwich was packed with perfectly smoked meat. Every item we tried was excellent and had zero complaints. Next time we'll work our way through the rest of the menu, but based on this visit, I can't imagine we'll be disappointed. If our second visit is as good as the first, Smokeshow may end up replacing our longtime favorite of 10 years. We can't wait to bring the family when they come to visit!

Came here on a friend's recommendation about a new bbq spot that opened up. Joe greeted us warmly and said "let me know if you want to try anything." There was a delicious smell of sweet bacon in the air and they said it was their pork belly. Holy flavor bomb! We've come here many times since and the only bummer is we only ever come for dinner after the rush so sometimes they're out of some things. Excellent food, great people, awesome customer service, great vibes, BEST BBQ IN VEGAS. Their loaded baked potato is life changing. Overall 10/10, highly recommend!!! Local owned, go support!

Very impressed. I've had brisket in Dallas and this brisket was very close to some of the best. By far the best I've had in Vegas. If you're looking for a great bbq spot with passionate staff and amazing food done right, this is it. Can't wait to come back and try more.

I'm not usually a BBQ fan... but this place completely changed my mind. From the moment we sat down, the staff was genuinely excited for me to try everything. They were eagerly waiting for my reactions as I tasted each meat, which made the whole experience even better and funnier. The flavor? Unreal. I tried the beef rib, pulled pork, and baby back ribs, and every bite was incredibly flavorful and tender. The beef rib especially stood out. My friend said ribs like that are hard to find, and after tasting them, I believe it. So flavorful. So tender. Melt-in-your-mouth good. What really impressed me was the customer service. While we were there, a customer walked in and the staff immediately recognized him and remembered his drink order. That level of attention is rare these days and so greatly appreciated. Amazing food. Even better service. This place turned a non-BBQ person into a believer.

Pulled Pork Sandwich - $14.00 - 1/4 lb pork, coleslaw, mustard-base BBQ sauce with Fries
    Adriana N.

Food was great! Fries were seasoned which is always a plus in our book! Hubby loved the pulled pork sandwich. I loved the ribs as the meat was so tender practically pulling apart from the bone with ease. Ribs were juicy and not dry. BBQ sauce was okay (I'm a picky sauce eater), I used a BBQ sauce we had at home . Mac n cheese was delish, I ate around the chile bits though. The mashed potatoes were yummy and the gravy was good too! The spread for the cornbread was buttery with a sweet but not overpowering taste and paired very well with the cornbread. Overall everything was delish! We will be ordering again.

Small on the inside but plenty of room to sit down and enjoy your food if you'd like. Staff were super friendly & even let me sample the brisket! Much appreciated & thank you for your service & good food! I got Brisket , Mac and cheese & Mashed potatoes. Brisket was really good, a few pieces I got were dry but flavor is there and definitely worth trying if you love brisket like myself! Overall 8/10 Mashed potatoes were good, lacked salt but that added bacon to it gives them a nice flavor. Overall 8/10 Mac n Cheese just needed a little more TLC. It lacked cheese & was just too dry for my liking. I added cheese to it at home to give it a more Mac n cheese feel to it but it definitely has potential with the poblano!! Overall 5/10

So good! I ordered half a pound of brisket (opted for fatty), large fries, mashed potatoes with beef cheeks gravy, and poblano pepper Mac and cheese for the kiddos and I to share. The brisket was so tender and add the homemade bbq sauce, so delicious. The poblano pepper in the Mac and cheese was my daughters's favorite. My son (6yo) piled his fork with a bit of brisket, mash potatoes, a piece of the Mac and cheese, and then drizzle bbq sauce on it. He said it was the perfect bite. I must admit, the mashed potatoes were the best I have tasted yet. The fries must be cooked in fat to achieve such a nice texture. The gentlemen were also very kind and helpful. Highly recommend!

The sausage was a jalapeño cheddar sausage. For my side, I had mac & cheese and coleslaw. To start off, this is a great place. If I could give it 4 1/2 stars I would but I like to round up. Brisket is really good but a little dry in the mouth. Great Smoky flavor. The mouth-feel was just a little off. It was a little dry, but not bad. The pulled pork was wonderful. Nice Smoky flavor. Nice and tender and juicy. Felt great to chew in my mouth and did not feel dry. A+ for the Pork. The jalapeño cheddar sausage was amazing. Really well done. Flavor was great texture was great. Just a little kick, which was great. I always wish there was more kick, but I understand you got a cater to your customers. One thing I was kind of concerned about was the temperature of the coleslaw. It should be really cold, but it was just kind of a little bit of above lukewarm, but not really cold. Coleslaw should be cold. The mac & cheese was pretty good. Needs a little bit more liquid in it but the flavor was awesome. And it looks like they prepackage the Mac 'n cheese in containers and then sprinkle some cheese on top. That's a nice touch, but it makes the whole container of mac & cheese dry out. They only have one barbecue sauce. It was pretty good. But to me the best way to judge barbecue is if it doesn't eat barbecue sauce. And this did not need barbecue sauce. It was just a nice addition. Great ambience. Great music playing. Very clean and well kept area. I would definitely come back when I'm on this side of town.

After looking through the menu, we ultimately decided on the following 3 Meat Platter: Pulled Chicken, Pulled Pork, and Brisket with Mac N Cheese/Sweet Potato Tots The World Famous Blueberry Chicken Sandwich: Pepper Jack Cheese, Housemade Blueberry Jam, blueberry aioli, and Jalapeno. The service was super quick. I don't think we waited longer than 10 minutes for our meal. It was nice that our meal was served in to go containers as well! The highlight of the meal was the blueberry chicken sandwich. The chicken was juicy and tender. The blueberry aioli and the jam was scrumptious. This was a first time having a sandwich like this before! I would come back to Smoke & Fire just to get the sandwich. The BBQ pulled pork, pulled chicken and brisket was good. I enjoyed the mac n cheese and the sweet potato tots though! I don't normally see sweet potato tots so I just had to try it out! They were super crispy and packed with flavor. The food was yummy here and the service was fantastic! If I'm in the area again, I would stop by Smoke & Fire to have another meal. I think next time though, I am going to have to try out their pulled pork burger!
