Quick trip, starving and needed something quick. A local recommended this spot, and boy oh boy it dud not disappoint. Nothing fancy here to rave about except the food and the people that work there. The food was delicious and unlike Miami they run lunch specials on Sunday's. Everything was grilled to protection -Jerk wing, Mac and cheese, collard greens, cornbread dressing, and muffin Juice- Blue Juice (sweet as heck)

First time coming here and it was a bit confusing ordering the food. It was a great experience and the food was delicious. We got 2 smothered pork chops, macaroni, greens, dressing, cornbread and a peach lemonade. I don't really like the restaurants in Atlanta but this one was a hit. FINALLY, food with flavor. Reminded me of home

My family and I went to Atlanta on April 12, on my birthday, we had a ball, and got hungry but we didn't just want to eat any where. Search google and Big Daddy's Kitchen came up in 2-locations. We went to the one on Campbellton Road, OH MY GOD, everything was good, ox tails, jerk wings, catfish, fried wings, and collard greens, sweet potatoes, you name it they cook it. We are planning another visit and Big Daddy is on the list. If your in Atlanta for fun or business go see Big Daddy'n

Idk what's up with the reviews on this spot but I absolutely loved it. The service was great and the food was delicious. It's a pretty unassuming little place, almost looks buffet style but honestly it was A1.

Walked into to see 3 tables of homemade cakes, the servers plus cashier were so helpful in all the choices of food, the restaurant is clean with comfortable booths to sit back, relax and ENJOY every bite full of deliciousness

The food was ok. I would not go back. The dressing was salty with heavy sage. The Mac & cheese was dry with heavy pepper taste. The fried pork chop was good. For the price I am disappointed being that the only thing in my meal was the pork chop and muffin. The place is clean and the ladies working the line and register was some what dismissive. Not a great customer service experience. My first and last time visiting this place.

It's a yes for me! Service could be better, but you can not deny the flavors of good ol soul food cooking! Big Daddy's Kitchen is bringing it! At this point I had the turkey wings and Bbq chicken plates with the same mac& cheese and collard greens. The greens are amazing and consistent and they speak to my soul-lol This is happy food, I just wish the service matched the cooking.

We arrived right before the Saturday lunch rush. The staff got everyone thru the line quick and easy. This location is clean and spacious and the food was on point. The smothered pork chops, fried chicken and oxtails were delicious. The sides were also delectable. Big Daddy's gets 5 stars from us!

The service was excellent, friendly staff, and food is great . First time visiting family in Atlanta and was looking for southern food this was the first place that popped up that was near. I purchased the lunch special Meatloaf, Mac n cheese, and greens. The flavor in everything is good . Also tried the famous lemonade that comes in a variety of flavors to choose from. Sweet and good. If anyone hasn't traveled to Atl yet, I definitely recommend trying out Big Daddys Kitchen. Good is great

Although this might depend on the time of day which was about 2:30 in the afternoon on a Thursday for us. The ordering system is a a new way to order for me. They place a ticket with the menu on the table and as you search the menu, write down what you would like, including drinks. Our waitperson was friendly and helpful, such a nice guy. He helped us order (since it was our first visit) and was quick to answer all of our questions. I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken, Collard Greens, and Black-Eyed-Peas. My husband had the Chicken Fried Chicken as well, with the Collard Greens and Mac&Cheese. I had the Peach Cobbler and he had the Bread Pudding. So very tasty, and perfect portion size. I ate all of my food plus my dessert. And be sure to order the Pot Likker! So very good!! Overall we truly enjoyed our experience here. Highly recommend a visit and get the Arnold Palmer. Delicious!! The bread is also fresh, hard to eat just one piece.

I love fried chicken (who doesn't?) but typically find other breading to be bland and oily and I usually pull it off to get to the juicy meat...but not at Delilah's. It was the perfect combination of crunchy and flavorful and I was sure to gobble up any small bit that fell on my plate. The collard greens are also incredible. Not too salty not too saturated. Just perfect. I think I'm going to order a take home portion for holiday dinners at home because I can't make them better than this! The service and personal experience was off the charts and exactly what southern hospitality is all about. My husband and I chatted with Jason, the owner, during our entire meal and learned so many cool things about their family and Delilah's story. I will be going back again and again and again. Definitely plan to take out of towners that are eager to find good authentic soul food.

I decided to have a tapas-style dinner with food from The Works and just had to grab some chicken from Delilah's. The menu is plentiful without being overwhelming, except when it comes to picking a favorite between the flavorful options. I knew that I didn't want or need a full meal and opted for their 3 whole wing option that came paired with cornbread. The young man who took my order was so polite and patient, as there were a few folks in line and waiting for previously placed orders. He let me know that my order would be ready in about 15 minutes so I took the time to continue my food-finding journey around the market. When I returned later, I had lost track of time and figured I'd just poke my head around their stall to see if my chicken was ready. It wasn't at that moment but I took some time to observe the process. There was only one guy in the open kitchen and prep area creating all of the meals and he was on the move. If I could add smells to my review, this one would smell like fried chicken and cornbread. It was all so fresh! When my order was ready, I only made one other stop before heading to my car to go home to my family... but not before I tested those whole wings from Delilah's. When I say that they were fresh out of the grease? Babehhh. It's like he just threw them right into the basket only seconds before. It was sooo crunchy, so juicy, just a fantastic wing. The hot sauce was a nice pairing but some spice in the breading/meat would have taken it over the top but this chicken was delicious. No notes.

Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q…read more Fox Bros. has that hole-in-the-wall BBQ joint feel, but with plenty of space to hang out. There's a bar along with both indoor and outdoor seating, and the overall atmosphere is casual and laid-back. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and gave us some great recommendations, which definitely added to the experience. We went with the three-meat sampler and chose the brisket, ribs, and jalapeño cheddar sausage, with tots and the Fox-a-Roni for our sides. The Fox-a-Roni--a combination of their Brunswick stew and mac & cheese--was absolutely delicious and easily one of the most memorable sides I've had at a BBQ restaurant. The brisket was honestly some of the best brisket I've ever had. It was tender, flavorful, and easily my favorite of the three meats. The jalapeño cheddar sausage was also really good, and while the ribs tasted great, ours were pretty small and didn't have a ton of meat on them. My only real complaint was the portioning of the sampler. We were told that as you choose a larger variety of meats, you essentially receive smaller portions of each. I understand the idea of a sampler, but we literally received one slice of brisket and two-three fairly small ribs, so the portion-to-variety concept didn't make a ton of sense to me. I would've preferred slightly more substantial portions, especially considering how good the brisket was! I also ordered a cocktail, but unfortunately it wasn't really for me. It came across very sweet and mostly juice, although I think that may have been more about the particular drink I chose than the bar itself. Overall, the food absolutely delivered. Between the incredible brisket, Fox-a-Roni, friendly service, and laid-back BBQ atmosphere, Fox Bros. was definitely worth the stop. I'd happily come back--I'd just skip the 3 meat sampler next time and order more of that brisket!

No ceiling fans, why not? The host (blond headed guy) was super nice and got us seated quicky. Our server Calli was also the bartender. He was very nice and polite, but he was clearly stretched doing double duty as server and bartender. His drinks were on point, but It took forever to get apitizers, and entrees, and it was difficult for him to really check on our table as often as we would have liked. He tried his best. Now the food: The smothered pork chops, fried green tomatoes, fried chicken, collards, mac and cheese was great. Those chicken wings were fried to perfection 10/10. The mac and cheese wasn't really as creamy as I like but it was still really good. I wanted to take my out of town guest somewhere they could only experience in Atlanta. And, I wanted them to go back to Chicago and say what a great dining experience they had. In terms of the food, and drinks, location, they were well pleased and said I picked a winner. Now when the sun went down the music got crunk and the younger crowd started to pour in. It was a bit loud for the 45 up foks, but at least it was good R&B so we adapted.

She checked on us numerous times, didn't rush us and offered suggestions. She kept our table clear of mayhem from empty plates and glasses. Now the food was delicious. It was so good. I'll keep it simple the food was good, don't get me wrong. But for the price, it just didn't match up.
