I don't know how I feel about Big Daddy's Pizza. Yes, it's possibly a step-up from Little Caesars in some ways, but it's also surprisingly expensive if you don't order the $6.99 medium pizzas. A few nights ago, we ordered a large cheese, large pepperoni, cheese bread, and salad, and our total was $36. The pizzas weren't much larger than Little Caesars, but they were twice as expensive. Be Aware of what you get in your order! I order ribs from this location often. I always order for family gatherings and I usually order 2, 1 lb boxes which are about $15 each. The last time it seemed that each box was halved. I didn't do anything I just accepted it and told everyone it was ok and we all delt with it. Today, I again ordered 2, 1 lb boxes and when I picked it up there was one container which they said was a combined 2 lbs. but it looked like 1, 1 lb order. I have a food scale. It WAS only 1 lb. 1.14 to be exact with the foam container. I called and not only did the manager essentially call me a liar but she put the phone down (did not put me on hold) and the staff clearly could be heard in the background deriding me and absolutely this time calling me a liar. She kindly told me, *sarcasm*, they would refund 1 lb. and HUNG up! I called back and calmly explained this is for a family party and I would be happy to return the full order for a full refund so I could go to another location or they could provide the second pound I had paid for. When it did not show up I called the store to ask where my pizza was and they pretty much said we don't deliver to your location so we didn't make it. I asked why I didn't get a call about it and they had nothing to say. I told them that, this store delivered to my location at least 4 time before. But i am gonna take the time and write this review, went to go pick up my order 26" pizza with a 2L Pepsi , got home to my little cousins (3) and were so exited to try big daddy's pizza. Get there we're almost halfway to the pizza and i look over to my slice and see "something brown and crispy" and I thought in my mind mmmmhu it might be a "burned piece of cheese" and i look deep in my slice and it was a cockroach, YES!!!! A COCKROACH!!!! I am very disgusted and very very upset!.... I understand if they were to get my order wrong or if my pizza was "too crispy". Anything else but a cockroach in my pizza that is by far the worst experience ever! Please help me spread the word and make sure to get that place inspected!!! People can get sick from that! My SO and I decided to order in when we were staying in SLC, and this place was recommended by our hotel. I was super excited to eat pizza that wasn't Pizza Hut or Dominoes, and this place was close to where we were staying. They arrived within 20 minutes of ordering! Personally, I enjoy leftover pizza, so we ordered an 18" pizza, there was also an option for 26" but I didn't want to eat only pizza for the rest of the weekend, which was enough to feed us that night with leftovers for breakfast and lunch. April 30th was my last night in Utah and my friend and I decided to get some pizza. We thought Big Daddy Pizza would be good. It was listed in the hotel book that they delivered. So I called up and asked what the minimum was. Did not answer my question. Just said it would work. Took my information and then my order. I asked for a Hawaiian pizza ($12) a large salad with dressing ($4.50) and cinnamon sticks ($4). So before tax was $20.50. I figured with tax, Delivery fee, and tip it would be 35 at the most. He informed me that it was $32 before all that. He claims that the pizza is $12 and 2 dollars for each topping. His math was messed up. Then got mad when I added it up for him and he said no I was wrong. I will never order from them. I will never recommend them. We were actually surprised by the quality of the pizza. The late night delivery options are great and, as long as you aren't starving when you order, it didn't seem like too long for delivery.
