    WATER ICE

One thing you have to know about me is that I love a good Philly cheesesteak. So when I saw that this was around my hotel and the conference I knew I had to come here. When I walked in I was greeted. The inside was very homey and I felt like I was there hanging out with friends and family. I orderd Philly with mayo, onions and American and cheese wiz. Chicken egg roll, fries, water ice. The water ice didn't do it for me so I wouldn't order it again. The Chicken egg rolls were so delicious and I would definitely come back to get that. Fries were seasoned well and so good. The Philly is where I struggled it was seasoned well but very salty it could be base off the cheese wiz and there was a lot of onions. I want meat with my onions. Second Trip I got a Philly with mayo and American cheese, Fries and Chicken egg roll. This philly was better and a lot less salty. This was one of the highlights of my trip to a point that I went back another day and tried the philly a different way. The pricing was average. When I am back in Atlanta I will be visiting again.

Finally visited Big Dave's Cheesesteaks downtown on Marietta Street. It's directly across from the Moxy Hotel. I'd heard so many good things about this fast and casual restaurant. They greet you with a loud - WELCOME IN! Similar to Moe's - welcome to Moe's when someone enters the restaurant. I ordered a Dave's Way Classic - halal beef, grilled onions, melted provolone cheese and their signature seasoning. It was tasty and I could have sworn sweet peppers were in the mixture but couldn't taste anything. The 6" and fries was more than enough. It came with a drink - they offer Pepsi products. There was also some sweet tea and lemonade offerings. They have some treats for a sweet tooth - banana pudding and water ice (like Italian icy). They have eggrolls and loaded fries too. You're not going to get anything healthy here - there's chicken, salmon and veggie options. I really enjoyed it and would suggest if you crave a taste of Philly.

We were staying downtown and looking for something that we hadn't had in a while for dinner. I decided to take a chance on this location, because I heard some not so good reviews of a different location. It paid off as we really enjoyed our meals. It has a very laid back atmosphere and neighborhood feel, despite being in a touristy part of town. We took our food to go and I'm glad to say that everything travelled well. It did take a bit of time for our order to come out, but we were happy with the overall experience.

So we came here because my wife has been craving a Philly cheese steak. So I found this place after leaving the aquarium. We drove up but we found no parking. So we parked on the side of the road. Apparently this is common as everyone else did it too. I walked in and asked the guy what the best thing was. He stated the Dave's way Philly. So I got that. However, a regular is 6 inches for 12 dollars, classic which is 9 inches but costs 19 before tax and the like super one which is 18 inches for 34 dollars. I didn't know how good it would be so I ordered the 9 inch one as I was going to split it with my wife prior to going to another restaurant. It took about 15 minutes but I got the Philly. I then brought it to the wife. We ate it in the car. It was good. Very hot to the touch. But it reminded me of a good Philly cheese steak. Was it the best I've had. No. That still belongs to Deangelo's in Philly. But the cost is what got me. 21 total for a 9 inch sub. Seems a bit steep. I'd give this sub an overall 4.5 out of 5.

I came here for the first time the other day. I got a regular size truffle shuffle cheesesteak combo with fries & a drink. Since I downloaded the app and made a free account, I got a feee egg roll. I got the buffalo chicken one and it was good. The truffle sauce on the cheesesteak was very good. I wish the mushrooms were cooked longer. Huge portion of food that made me full. Food was made to order so it was hot and fresh. Decent price of around $17 for tons of food. I would come back.

Having seen this on IG and the owner was a speaker at Invest Fest 2025, I had to visit. Located on the street behind the Convention Center and Mercedes Benz dome, it's in the thick of things on event days. Parking directly across the street from the restaurant was a flat $20 this day as there was a soccer game this day. Being a visitor to AtL I had to do a sampling, I went with 1 chicken eggroll, 1 salmon eggroll and a small Beef cheesesteak with White American and Onion combo (fries and drink). So... eggrolls first. The chicken had good flavor and the dipping sauce packs a punch! The salmon eggroll... not much flavor and can't say I'd do that again. I only ate 1/2 the eggroll. Fries were plentiful, hot and cooked well. Cheesesteak was really enjoyable and seasoned well, bread was soft but firm and held up well. The placement of the cheese made it so that some bites didn't have cheese, but overall it was a really good sandwich. The staff were friendly and were working well together to the orders out timely. Overall, an enjoyable meal.

Customer service was just as great as the food. We were greeted with a warm welcome. The sandwich included 3 cheeses which are what made the sandwich distinct for me. Our Lyft driver even highly recommended when he dipped us off. I would definitely return.

I've followed Dave's Cheesesteaks on instagram for a while now. With coming into Atlanta to see Beyoncé in concert, I was finally able to try them out. It's located downtown walking distance from Centennial Park. The restaurant was clean and airy. The staff were extremely nice and checked on my friend and I frequently. Our food came out fast and hot. Even though we took condiments, they weren't needed. I had the regular beef cheesesteak and a chicken egg roll. Both were 10/10! I'm glad I was able to try here and check this place off my list. I was also able to check out Centennial Park!

I loved the caramelized jalepeno slices since they added it beautiful hint of spicy sweetness to the dish. The bread has a nice chew and it does not get soggy fast. - CONS: Not that special. I dont know why it's "korean" since it tasted like a normal cheesesteak but with a few jalapenos. I also wish they added in more jalapenos (I got like 3). 2) Garlic Fries with Ranch: - PROS: Very nice texture with a crispy outside and fluffy inside that is not too dense. The flavor comes from the garlic mince that is on top. The ranch is like a mixture of an aioli and tartar sauce (I think they make it in house, correct me if I'm wrong). - CONS: Inconsistent texture as some of the fries were dense but a few had that good hollow crisp bite. Quite oily too. Overall, I enjoyed the cheesesteak but would probably skip the fries next time. I do believe it is good especially the bread. I don't think it is worth all the hype it gets, but it is good.

When I walked in... the young lady at the counter was on the phone having a personal conversation. I sat there until she thought it was a good time in her conversation to take my order. I ordered my same ol beef cheesesteak with provolone cheese, onions and ketchup. I was told 15mins, then she picked up her phone and continued her conversation. I decided to wait in the car because the music in there was extremely loud and I couldn't hear my phone call nor myself think. After 15mins... I went back inside and was told a few more mins, which turned into me waiting a total of 30mins for my sandwich. I was tempted to ask for my money back, but I was hungry and had my tastebuds set to eat this sandwich. Fast forward to me getting home. My cheesesteak was lukewarm. I didn't make any stops and it usually is still piping HAWT when I get back home. Not this time. I swear I should've known something was up just by my initial experience in the restaurant. Anyways.... My sandwich was smelling a lil spicy... I see a hot red pepper in the wrapping and thought they just wrapped it in my sandwich by mistake. Um NO! There were hot red peppers throughout my sandwich. It was as if they realized the peppers did not belong on the sandwich and tried to take them out, but a whole lot of them were left in there. Instead of making a whole different sandwich and having the young lady tell me there was a mistake with my order, they gave it to me as if it was what I ordered. I wouldn't have minded if I liked spicy food, but I don't. I actually despise it and have heartburn from the sandwich! The sandwich was extremely spicy, then it was like extra pepper was added onto it as well. Then the amount of meat that used to come in the sandwich is not the same either. It was only a small portion of meat on it. As much as I would love to go back to Riley's.... I probably won't.

And while I typically like peppers and shrooms on mine, this one needed nothing else. The BIG notable is that the meat is not dry at all, which a lot of places get wrong.
