Wow! Incredible dogs, incredible service! Everything was absolutely fresh and delicious. I don't eat meat so I went for the vege dog which was delicious! The owner is so sweet and accommodating! This was the perfect end to our night! I was not drinking but was still craving something and this hot dog did it! It was so juicy and fresh had such an amazing flavor! The stand had so many options which was so nice it had something for everyone! My friends who had been drinking said it saved their lives and was the best thing they had ever eaten! The guy helping us was amazing, he had amazing customer service and was so nice and funny! Next time we are out in Weho we will for sure be stopping back at this amazing place! read more

Best hotdogs in LA! I frequent here every Sunday night after a long night of dancing at the Abbey! My friends and I are starving by the end of the night. This place really hits the spot!!! He has every type of dog! beef, vegan, etc. I tried his lates creation last night. The hot dog bacon wrap!!! DELICIOUS! I highly suggest stopping here on the corner of Robertson and Santa Monica Blvd. He and his cutest dog in the world Daisy are very welcoming!!! Went to Big Dix across the street from The Abby. It was a tasty chili dog with onions and I added Fritos. Yum. Actually ate two dogs. Got a bacon dog with peppers. So good. All the people around were so happy to have a great meal for a reasonable price. My hot dogs chips and coke was half the price of one drink at The Abby. Come here all the time for hotdogs after the club they smack and you can get so much food off his cart for cheap rather than the ladies who charge $12 for one tiny hotdog. I have to say, I don't normally buy my food from street vendors, but on this particular day and time, I was hungry, and quite honestly being vegan I didn't really think he'd have a vegan option, but Big Dix surprised me with one of the tastiest vegan hotdogs I've ever had. For a little over $20, I got strips of turkey breast meat that were underseasoned, dry, and overcooked along with some unexceptional freezer section shoestring fries one could find at almost any school cafeteria. It's bad enough to waste my money, but adding on the egregious waste of time really rubs salt in the wound. Next time, Henrietta should try rubbing that salt onto that flavorless turkey.

I ordered a basic hummus that was supposed to come with pita bread, however I ended up setting this green Jungle thing with all these mint, cilantro and whatever leaves thrown on top. It could have been fine, had it tasted good, but boy oh boy was it a miss on every level. It tasted like green lemon acidic soup. It didn't have the thickness of a hummas with chickpeas. It even had a soda like carbonation to it like as if they added citric acid to it or something. The consistency was like as if you were to blend a bunch of avocados until it became a purée and added enough lemon acidic juice until it was slightly more watery and unpalatable. Then the kicker, pickled veggies! I could cry. Who in the chef came up with this?! It's the most unbalanced thing I've ever had in my life! With something already saturated with lemon, why are you serving me pickled vegetables? Would you also like to serve me a cup of vinegar juice to wash it down with? I vowed never ever to come back, until... I tried their lattes. Hear me out, they make their own syrups. Lattes are amazing, fire, 10 out of 10! So I'll come back for those, and I do, consistently. As for the food and the pastries, who knows maybe they do serve something good in this restaurant, but the first experience was such a miss, that I'm not gonna risk my tastebuds trying to find that out. There's too many really good restaurants in LA. Fool me once... As for the service itself: the managers, the employees, they're amazing; 10 out of ten nice neighborly great people. I just had to be honest about the food. ‍

The owner is a sweetheart, loves and treats everyone equally with respect and dignity he was involved in a video that went viral where they made him look like he was a racist when he was just upset with illegal vending, unfair business practice, two sets of rules he's not racist. It's just not fair to him to be paying such excessive amounts of money when others can just roll into his territory and sell anything with immunity it's not fair.
