Stopped in to grab items for donation to the Ronald McDonald house at Advocate Lutheran Children's Hospital. Found tons of shelf-stable items to purchase and donate. The store itself was clean and well organized. And the staff were incredibly helpful. Absolutely a great opportunity to putchase numerous items at a great price. read more

I love this location. They are always nice and helpful. My bank account doesn't like it though. LOL During spring, they have the best windchimes at good prices, lots of cute gardne items. And if you are creating a fairy gardne like I have been, they have the cutest miniatures for it. Highly recommend this spot. read more

The manager was very rude, we tried to return something since it went rancid before the best by date, the lady rung up something twice and we believe it was on purpose! It's even more frustrating because the guy before said that if it went rancid before the Best Buy date we can return it. We think she scanned it twice because the store lost 14 bucks. 0/10 would not recommend. We will be going to the store that's a half hour away from there just so we don't have to go agajn read more

Another business that don't even deserve 1star‍‍‍... I had the worse experience this location this weekend. I purchased 3 patio cushion set. They were on sell so I thought it was a great deal but I would soon find that it wasn't a deal at all I was almost beat out of over $100 plus dollars. When I got the cushions home after redoing my deck to incorporate the style, I open them up to put them on my furniture and they were all stained and dirty as if they were used and brought back to the store . I immediately called the store to inform them. I would have washed them and kept them but after speaking to Casey the store manager who sound like someone pee'd in his Cheerios. I was forced to bring them all the way back to the store to have the price iadjusted which didn't make much since because I purchased it using my account number which means they could have just pulled the receipt up. Also, they were closing in the next 2 minutes so I would bring them back in on a holiday before my big barbecue. I went in today, Talked Brad whose another manager who basically accused me of using it and bringing it back . Although, I didn't even want to bring it. I told him he could have settled for a discount as I didn't want to pay full price for something that was used and Damaged however I also didn't want to go shopping on the day of my barbecue. He then offered me a 10% discount.... He was very condescending and pretty much through that out there as if he knew I wouldn't take it all the while he was already in the process of returning the Item and never had any intentions on making it a better customer experience. If he had offered 15% I wouldn't even be upset but the fact that I had to dismantle my patio set again and waste gas to come back up there for something that could have been handled over the phone, HELL NO!!!! I was more than willing to send pictures or video call them to prove what I was saying, I refuse to take a 10% discount. Because now I am out much more!!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!! Worst customer service ever! Purchased 12 cases of water and asked if they had a box I could put them in to make transfer from car to home easily. The cashier looked at me like I was crazy and didn't even respond so I asked another employee who just said no! I asked If they had a large bag that I could put a couple of cases in and she handed me a bunch of bags and started to check out the next person! Really? Last time I shop at this store! read more

I watched him do about 10,000 steps in the hour I was there because he was so busy loading couches and huge boxes into people's cars. I saw him deal with bad attitudes and he never even sighed! A good place to go for all paper goods, plastic bags, and other household items. A lot quicker to get through the store than going to TARGET. Always have a lot of things on sale. Gallon water and cases of water. Good place to buy small appliances (coffee makers, toasters, etc). Wish it was closer to house. Service? Depends on who is at the Cash Register - just like most other places. We go to one in Wisconsin as well that is larger. read more

I had bought an inflatable while a sale was going on excited to go home to set it up, upon opening the box I was having trouble finding the power cord as I was outside in the dark only to realize the power cord was cut. Upon next day I go early in the morning to return it only to be told that I had gotten the wrong inflatable in the box and I wouldn't be able to return it as well because their was leaves on it. I mean obviously their was leaves on it I was trying to set it up 'OUTSIDE' that's when I figured out the power cord was cut off. So understandably I was upset. Because this leads me to believe someone had bought the inflatable just to return a broken inflatable they had, to get the other inflatable for free and they must've not checked the box to see if it was the right inflatable so they accepted the return to then put the box back up on the shelves and that happens to be the inflatable I bought and then they make me pick up the other persons mess cause of a big mistake they made taking in the return. They surprisingly gave me my money back only to be told to do their job for them, they told me to next time to check the box. Overall it was just the worst experience I've had with retail, everyone was just unnecessarily rude, except the cashier he was just doing as told by both the managers I believe read more

Clean, organized store. Went there to find a cheap, fake xmas tree for my upstairs. It was easy to find. I found a pkg cinnamon sticks with no price.,I(i forgot to buy them at grocery store for my apple cider)@checkout the checker or manager couldn't find a price, or anymore on the shelf.. So i decided to say its ok i didnt need them, they were skinny anyway & probably didn't have flavor/scent. As a manager I would offer them for a dollar, but no such luck! I rarely ever come to this store & would rather go somewhere else for my cheap buys!! Didn't find too many good buys on christmas stuff!! Not too friendly staff there either...A smile usually is pleasant to see no matter where you go! read more
