I shop at this location often. Normally we have no issues. Today my daughter tried to give them a resume and one of the people working, had a bit of a tone when saying "we don't take resumes you have to apply online". I feel this could of been handled in a MUCH nicer manner. I will no longer shop at this location. read more

It's unfortunate that BL's has become not competitive at all in regards to furniture these days like they use to be. Not to mention... if you don't have half the stuff in stock, not knowing what day or month it will be in stock again or to go to Mesa for it, why bother having it on the floor? This store has been open for a while now close to a year. Big Lots is a small sized discount variety store something like a Woolworth's. I got a very good deal on my vacuum here at Big Lots. I got a reconditioned Dyson Vacuum for $199.00 and it's been working great! I paid $299. for the same model vacuum 10 years ago and they say Dyson's never loose suction but that's not true after 10 years they suck but not dirt and you need a new one. They also carry a great selection of name brand $3 and $5 dog toys. You also might find very unusual greeting cards at low prices. read more

After moving into the new place, I've suddenly become somewhat of an interior designer and decided to buy all new decor for the bathrooms. And what other place to get decent towels and bathroom accessories than Big Lots?! They have everything you could need, and in various colors (hooray for options!) Their items are fairly priced, and pretty good quality, so hey, why not? The only downfall is that they only have a limited amount of stock, so if they don't have what you need/want/are looking for, you can be like me and drive around to like four other locations, hunting down what you need -- or you're SOL. But, yay for me, I got everything I needed (yes, because of traveling like a crazy person all around town to all the different locations. Ha!) read more

This is my home-away-from-home Big Lots. I house sit in the area and find myself here several times throughout the year. The store is always clean and the staff are exceedingly helpful. Their selection tends to be among the best of the various BLs I shop. Perhaps this says more about my shopping habits, but I never leave this store empty-handed. Plus, it's in a strip mall with a few eating options. So, when you've shopped till you dropped, you can pick yourself up with some great food. read more

I'm a huge Big Lots shopper. I live closer to the 67th and Cactus location but go out of my way to the 75th and Bell location. Their customer service is always outstanding. I had the pleasure of dealing with Shawn and Mark at this location. They were pleasant, charming and helpful. Shawn made an effort to check on me and asked if i needed help finding anything. I did and he knew exactly what I was looking for. The store is well organized, clean and easy to navigate. I'll most definitely be back this weekend! Saw the cutest accent chair and at a great price. The only good thing is they had the products we needed. I was looking for headsets for my son and my granddaughters for the trip back to Bakersfield. The worst is they had a sign that was Mis-leading that said all electronic products and accessories 50% off, and it was hanging next to the headsets. Next to find out at the counter to check out that the headsets weren't on sale, but it was on sale yesterday. Then why have the signs all around and connected to the headsets. To me that's false advertisement and the cashier was rude about. Never again coming to the this spot it ruined my experience for big lots and I feel like I've been cheated out of my money for there personal gain, because in my field of work if there is advertisements still up next to the products like that in bold lettering I will honor the agreement even though it might of been left there or not. I hope corporate reads this, to me once again bad experience and feel cheated on. I highly don't recommend this place. read more

This is a fun store to shop in . There is a variety of subjects to choose from, you want furniture it's there, yard decor,household items and food all in one spot. The prices are very reasonable and there is plenty of parking space. read more

I have absolutely found my new favorite place to shop near my home. After not visiting a Big Lots for almost a year, I returned to this shopping mecca! I have been to many locations around the country and this by far is my favorite. The store is huge, spotless and well-organized. These staff was friendly and helpful. I found everything I needed plus a whole lot more. It seems like there are a lot of new brands and even lower prices than I remember. I will be frequenting this location on the regular! read more

Found a TV Stand here that was $200.00. Called in because I had forgotten a coupon that was 20% off and they gladly told me to come in and they would adjust my charge. I love Big Lots. They always have what I need. In time of the year they always have what you need. The only down fall is that I always have to drive to Arrowhead because the Manager has no customer skills what so ever. Not friendly at all. In fact she is rude and never has a smile on her face. So this is why I drive from Surprise to Arrowhead to do my shopping!!! But I love Big Lots so it is worth the drive. It's just sad that I have to drive all the to Arrowhead. You can't teach good customer service skills to your associates if you don't have the skills. read more

This store was a life saver when I was looking for furniture for my new apartment. I spent the entire day searching different furniture stores and couldn't find anything in my price range that I liked. I walked into big lots and immediately found a really comfortable couch, an ottoman, and my whole mattress set there. The best part was it was all way cheaper than anything I had seen all day. The staff there was very helpful. I was nervous because the delivery company is separate from big lots but they delivered all my stuff two days later and were amazing to work with. Very friendly and courteous. They came within the time frame they gave and set up the furniture just they way I asked them to. Overall great experience, especially for someone who has never purchased large pieces of furniture before. Highly recommend checking them out just to see what they have. read more

My husband and I were recently at Big Lots and I just wanted to thank Mark for great customer service! He did a price check for us, offered to get us a cart and was quick to bring a twin mattress up to the front for us to purchase. What really impressed us, is that he insisted on bringing the mattress to our truck even though my husband was totally willing and capable to do it. I really like this big lots store. The employees and the managers are very nice and very friendly and they keep the store very clean and well organized. I go in there at least once a week. I find lots of good bargains on items for my household such as cleaning supplies and beauty supplies that I normally buy in the grocery store and drug stores and I find them at much cheaper prices sometimes as much is half off the normal retail price! People go to Big lots for the cheaper options, not necessarily the customer service. This particular big lots has awesome customer service, so helpful and welcoming! I discovered this Big Lots store near where my husband and I recently bought a second home to escape east coast winters. Our new place needs furniture, linens, dinnerware, cookware, etc - and my custom is to get this stuff from Crate & Barrel or Pottery Barn. I had never set foot in a Big Lots. But there it was on the corner at Arrowhead Center, clean and cheerful, with easy parking, so I tried it. Inside the store was bright, orderly, and attractively staged. I found, to my surprise, many things I'd been searching for - for instance, patio furniture, side tables, planters, throw pillows, paper goods, and closet organizers - in colors I wanted and at bargain prices. The staff who helped me were friendly and knowledgeable. I'm pleased with my purchases and plan to return for a second round soon. Why didn't I shop this store earlier? read more
