Poor service. Avoid this place. I have learned after several visits: Once they repaired a front end problem but the part was bad and they refused to give me a refund. I took store credit - which was offered begrudgingly - and bought tires that were expensive, but wore out quickly. They offer to rotate your tires if you buy them there, but you have to wait several hours for the simple rotation. I was surprised at their attitude when I had problems with a bad repair; it was as if I was in the wrong somehow. Also, they put nitrogen in my new tires, but no longer had it when I came to get the tires checked. I will never spend another penny there again. read more

I bought tires for $1400 dollars at this Big O tires. They stated they would call when they came in. I was never contacted that they were in. I had to call them a week later to see if they arrived. Then could not get me an appointment to put them on until an additional week. Had an appointment today. Arrived at my appointment only to be told they could not install my tires today. Now 3 weeks later they have my $$ and I still have no tires. Very POOR service! read more

Although they got me in and out in about an hour for an oil change and a tire rotation. They did not rotate my tires. I mark tires to see if they actually rotate them. It's a company truck. I'm not sure if the fleet manager denied rotation or what, but they clearly told me, personally , they took care of me rotated tires, when they did not. read more

I'm writing this review, as a rebuttal to Jennifer Cs review. I was a customer there at the time. The store location was very busy. I got there at 8am, and they told me then that there is a long wait, and they offered me an appt window for later today. There was not an empty parking space in the lot. There was 8 to 10" of snow on the ground, and things were very busy. I agreed to come back later on, 1pm and later on I arrived. I arrived early for my appt, and Jennifer C was acting like a crappy human. She was raising her voice, was trying to argue w the sales staff, claiming that they were muttering about her. They did no such thing. She was acting like an entitled Karen. She purchased entry level tires, and complained that they did not work in our 10" of snow fall. She had them for a few days before bringing them back. The staff returned them, even though she used them, and they had her pay the difference between the returned pair, vs what she ultimately picked. They didn't scam her. They accommodated her, on a day w not only terrible weather, but when they already had a full lobby of customers and waiting cars. She should have been more thankful and appreciative. My experience was perfect w them. I came in for a tpms tire sensor issue. My car dealership couldn't seem to fix it after 4 attempts, so I had these tire pros do it. I am in and out within an hour, and I had made an appointment, and treated everyone well. Pretty simple. Be nice to people, who are doing services for you, it's the right thing to do. read more

This place installed my brakes wrong and my car made horrible squealing noises after they worked on them. I highly recommend going somewhere else. It became apparent that they didn't know what they were talking about when they told me my cars parking break lever is actually an "e-brake" and shouldn't be used when parking. He told me I should just leave it in gear when parking, even on a hill.... Anyway I had to return the car several times to get the issue re-worked and finally said they can't fix it. They said it looks like a warranty issue. I then took it to MedVed, paid them $100 to figure out what the problem was and turns out they installed some stuff wrong, a plate of some sort was backwards. I brought this to their attention and they just said sorry. They didn't offer me a refund for the incorrect labor, no credit for next time, nothing. I emailed their HQ and fortunately I received a free labor coupon, but I was no longer interested and gave it away. I will never return here for service again. read more

Brought my vehicle back for the THIRD time to get the alignment done properly and get the oil changed. Three hours later, I was called and told my vehicle was "ready". When I arrived, only the oil had been changed. I was told that they were "really busy" and did not have time to get to the other work and i would have to come back at a later date to get it done. The trouble with a franchise is sometimes you get good service, sometimes bad. My experience here was bad. I had a Big O tire, bought in another town, tread separate. Took it in to this store and they denied any warranty first because it was bought at another store, then because it was over two years old (by two weeks), then told they couldn't be sure it was a manufacture defect. Bottom line is apparently they did not want my business and I will not be going back. Discount Tire in Arvada on the other hand stepped up with great service. Lesson learned. read more

I had a flat 8 months after purchasing 5 new tires from Big O on Indiana in Arvada. When I showed up they said they could not get to the car for an hour and a half. I didn't have the time to wait so I scheduled an appointment for 3 days later and drove on the spare until the appointment. When I arrived as scheduled they said I also needed an alignment and would have to wait 3 hours. They have no regard for their customer's time. I told them I was unhappy and would write a bad review. As shady as a willow tree! Short: They quoted over $3,475 for what turned out to be a $585 fix at my local shop!!! Even had those BigO clowns not inflated what was wrong? They would of charged me $1138.50 for the repair that cost me $585. What was wrong: A bad passenger front bearing. Big O estimate: included $360 for an ALIGNMENT!! $466 for a bearing...another 313 for labor. Then comes the add ons...back bearing (determined fine by my shop) $422 for parts and another $313 for THAT labor. Rear shocks (determined fine by my shop) 226 for parts and 325 for labor! Front Struts: (Determined fine by my shop) 532 for parts and another 275 in labor add their typical "Hey, your breathing nasty air" crap fest of filters...we get to the $3,475 total.... read more

I called this location at 3pm and asked if they could mount a set of wheels and tires for me if I came at 5pm. I was coming from an hour away and the person on the phone said as long as I was there by 5 since they closed at 6. I arrived at 4:30 and was informed by the person sitting at the front desk with his feet up that they were too busy and couldn't do the job. I informed him that we drove and hour to get there based on talking to someone on the phone. He said he was the only one that answers the phone and he doesn't recall saying that. He was rude and exhibited the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Not only will I never go to that location again, I will never go to a Big O Tire. BTW, Discount Tire down the street did the job with a smile at 4:50pm...even though they closed at 5. read more

I would go almost anyplace but here for any automotive service. I am astounded that they are still in business. I have had the wrong size windshield wipers installed; been told everything but the truth regarding the reason my tire pressure light was on; and treated like a complete idiot (despite having an advanced education) every time I entered the facility. Response to owner comment: let me be clear. I 100% want to do what is best for my car and have always done recommended services as a location I trust. Such as the one in Lakewood where I live. It wasn't about declining services. It was that your SALESMAN "recommended" a service I recently had done. And if it was done properly, should not need to be redone 6 months later. If my mechanic still recommends struts, I will do it. Because I know they aren't just upselling me, like your location clearing was doing. Your response honestly is so disrespectful. Update: I was given a free oil change coupon, so I opted to come back and have them do this and change my tires back. 20 minutes after I drop it off, Jesse calls me and rattled off all the things that needs to be done. Change the air filters and alignment: sure, ok. That seems like it would be due. Spark plugs: I literally paid them $500 last time for that. For that exact service. And when I called him out, saying those are still relatively new and shouldn't need to be done because they were done THERE he backtracks. Then says I need new front struts. To the tune of almost $1000. Excuse me? I don't trust you to tell me what may or may not need to be done on my car. It's obvious they are just trying to up-sell services. Took my car here to get my free alignment and rotation that purchased at another big O affiliate. I was told that they could not perform the alignment because I needed tie rods and no rotation because I needed 2 new tires. Without disclosing my previous issue, I took my car to a different Big O (in Golden) and they said I now needed 4 new tires and some wheel joints (here I was told tie rods were fine). Everything here was fishy too, so I got an $89 diagnostic done at Planet Honda. As I felt in my gut, everything was great on my car with no issues on tie rods or joints. Plus I did not need any new tires and they rotated my tires for only $20. Saved approx $1500 by taking it for another opinion at a reputable place. read more

Had been a customer of Big O Tires for years, after my recent experience with this location I will be taking my business elsewhere. Extremely unprofessional and unwelcoming staff. Had defective tires installed after getting a flat, when I returned to have them inspected they insisted they were fine, went to another location and they verified they were no good. Took them back to have the set replaced, tried charging me for the tire swap and installation of the new set, very combative and unwilling to help me out when they were the ones in the wrong! As I am finally pulling away to leave after dealing with this whole ordeal, I find the defective tires bagged up and sitting in the trunk of my car. When I tell the tech to remove them he then tells me I need to pay a disposal fee for the defective tires they sold me! I have been using this store for over 6 years now. They used to be great and run well but... I went in this morning with a flat tire (Big O brand), already removed from the vehicle. When the manager asked "how are you?" I told him it has been a rough morning and that I just need a flat repaired. To which he replied by laughing and (with a big grin on his face) saying it would be at least 3 hours before he can fix my flat tire. This is the third time I have received a rude response and less than helpful attitude from this same manager in the past year. Horrible management makes for a horrible customer experience. I have spent thousands of dollars on tires and servicing at this store over the years but I will not be back. I have been a life long Discount supporter, but decided to try Big O because of the verity of services offered and convenient hours. I arrived shortly after opening, and there was no one in the lobby. I waited several minutes before someone came to help. I requested a special tire that I had a print out for from Tirerack.com. I was rudely told that they could order it but would not be able to match the price. I was curious because Discount always matched prices. The service tech went to get his manager to see what he could do. A minute later the manager just said "no, we don't match". I left. I was ready to purchase the new tires, get them mounted, get an alignment, and my AC recharged. However, they lost my business because they were not willing to match a price. read more

Keep your receipt if you go here!  Got my brakes changed May 2017 (pads and rotors).  April of this year, they started shaking really bad when I would brake  I took it back in April since it was still within the year warranty.  They claimed a piece of plastic was stuck in the break pad which was causing the shaking.  In June it started shaking again, and even worse.  I took it in Friday 6/29 with the same problem.  On Saturday they called and couldn't find the problem and I had to explain to them again what was going on.  Monday they called and said I needed new front rotors.  They then claimed they couldn't "find my paperwork" to prove I got them originally fixed there, I'm thinking because they wanted me to pay for the rotors since they have a lifetime warranty.  Hours went by while they were "looking for my paperwork."  Luckily I keep my receipts and called them with the invoice number.  They told me I would need to pay for the labor since the labor warranty expired in May.  Tuesday comes and the manager tells me that the labor for this type of job (changing two rotors) is very long and expensive and would be $500 but he would do it for $268.... According to my original receipt when all 4 brakes were replaced, the labor was $278... Not sure how changing two rotors would be only be $10 cheaper.  I told him that did not sound accurate. He then came back with an offer of $200.  At this point I just wanted my car fixed and back so I paid $200 for poor service, four days without my vehicle, and for something that should have been fixed in April when I originally took it in.  So if you read this and decide to go there anyway, keep your receipt or they will try to pretend you've never been there... read more

LIARS. If you bring your car in for an oil change, they will literally lie to your face and tell you something is broken. Do not believe them- take your car for a second opinion. They told me twice that my sway bars were broken. I took my car to another shop and they said nope- no way, nothing is broken. Had my 2010 Lexus in for service recently. Guy at the counter checked my mileage and told me that I need $500 worth of regular maintenance done since my car was at 100k miles. Took it to my normal mechanic and they revealed that this was untrue. Then later after they looked at my car, I got a call from the same guy saying I need $3000 worth of work done to my struts and cv joints. My mechanic also stated that there we no major problems. I've worked in sales for over 10 years and understand that people are trying to make a buck. However, they were playing this up to be detrimental to my car. I am disappointed in their customer service and will not return. Get your act together. It is not okay to sell people on services they do not need.
