Overall completely happy with the service I received at this location I've been here twice the first time to rotate my tires. On that occasion they notified me they did not have the correct wrench to take off my lug bolts from my Enkie rims They ordered one for me at no charge and let me keep the wrench fitting so next time I'll have it with me The other day I called in for an oil change on Saturday morning and was easily accommodated. Tires are always expensive (they are petroleum based product). I know the margins are slim so what sets a shop apart is the service and integrity. Very happy with the greeting and service I receive each time I go in. This Big O is a stand alone franchise owned by Erik. Dan his manager has been with him for years. When a local shop keeps the same team it shows they know how to take care of customers and employees. A while back witnessed a customer who had a problem with his Toyota SUV. From what I could tell the problem was not directly related to the work this Big O had done. However since they were the last shop to work on the SUV I saw Erik and his team go above and beyond to help satisfy the customer with a proper warranty repair. Here's a bit of information about getting a tire for a Honda Fit. - They don't really have any in stock - They would have to order from their warehouse which probably will only have 2 available - Cost: ~ $150 with labor, taxes, tire (all for only one tire) After coming here, I decided maybe this is not the best place to get the tire. read more

This is a while back ...and this is my story I came here to have 4 Tires replaced, after paying the bills, started my vehicle I noticed my tire pressure lights was on and told them to reset it, the manager told me only the dealer can do it, so I went to the dealer and they told me all 4 of my TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) were broken, so I went back to this facility and they told me they didn't break it even though it wasn't broken before they changed my tires ... I was tired from school, work and errands just didn't have the energy to argue so I decided to foot the bill on Big Problem tires mistake and have the dealership fix my TPMS and never do business with them again ..I hate dishonest business and usually it starts with ownership and down! read more

Excellent Customer Service !! I came in near closing time, with a screw in my tire. I was greeted by Pierre, who was helpful, and professional. I offered to return in the morning since I did not live too far and they were about to close,.but they said they could help me. Both Pierre, and the man who worked on my car went above and beyond. Okay fellow yelpers, I am going to review this Big O tire shop. If you read my reviews and think I only give positive reviews, you would be correct. The reason being, more people will go out of their way to complain than to compliment. I'm the opposite, when I receive customer service that has gone above and beyond my expectations I will share it with everyone. And Erik did that. This is the story. I got a flat tire late on Friday and had to leave my car and go back to work. My husband picked me up from work, we went back to my car and there was no spare tire in my 2018 car. They did however give me an air compressor and goo. It didn't work the hole was on the wall of the tire a huge gash. Called chevy roadside was told I could get it towed to Chevy in the morning okay so I made an appt. Called chevy in the morning was told no, if you wanted it towed here you have to be here by 8am.(no one told me that) and they wouldn't have tire until Monday, I needed car before that so I was stressed out. Asked if chevy would tow it home, they said no that would be courtesy tow and $110. My car was in concord by work, I live in Oakley. I called big o in Brentwood very nice guy told me he didn't have one but would order it and put on a temp tire. Would have had to drive back and forth to concord twice, so I called another big o in concord and was told I could buy a tire for $71. while my $145. tire is on order. I was so frustrated. By this time I was on the verge of tears I decided to call one more big o. I got a hold of Erik who told me he would put on a temp tire while mine was on order. So when I showed he put on a brand new temporary at NO cost to me. It was done in less than 10 minutes. I was so grateful. So when my tire came in on Monday I went back and Erik put it on and I was done in about 15 minutes. I honestly don't think he even charged me labor. I will be a forever customer to this store and I will recommend everyone to give this man your business. Thanks again!!! So grateful!! read more

I am thrilled with this place! I took a trailer tire to them this AM, it wouldn't hold air. I was taking care of my 14 month old g-son who needed a nap, the timing wasnt great......! I pulled into their parking lot and was approached as I got out of my car. They took the tire out, fixed it and put it back in my car, 10 minutes flat. AND, no charge!!!! Didn't have to get the sleepy baby out of the car, all good!!! GREAT service!!! read more

Had an excellent experience this morning with DJ at big O. Took my car in because of a tire that wouldn't hold air. Left the car, was given a ride, decided to grocery shop and walk home. I manage a restaurant less than a mile from this store. Apparently I hit a curb and my tire was flat. I was at work but needed my tire fixed before I got off so I could get home (to Vallejo). I called and gave them my situation and was told bring it down and they would fix it. I was in a bad situation because I couldn't get there to pick it up before they closed but after speaking with (I assume the manager) he came up with a plan and my tire was repaired and I was able to get my car and drive home safely. Been here lots of times for several years, I have many different project vehicles and in my experience working with this big o tires I just can't go back anymore. They have stripped my lug nuts on 2 seprate vehicles. They bring me my stripped lugs acting like they came off that way when its obvious they were stripped when installing and Ive had to replace studs on 2 different vehicles. This most recent time is why I'll never go back, I purchased a lift kit and brand new wheels, I installed the lift, and I brought the wheels to them to assemble and install, one week later my wheel bearing goes out so I bring the truck back, they take my wheel off and of course I'm told the lug nut was stripped and the stud needed to be replaced, not the first time this has happened here, the wheel was damaged due to the lug nut not being fully torqued and I now have to bring my brand new wheel to a shop to be machined and have a different size stud installed just for that one wheel. Ridiculous. They refused to accept blame and said it must have been worked on after I picked up the truck which is a lie, I did not touch the wheels after they installed them. Its clear these guy dont know how to install wheels properly. read more

I had a 'alignment' problem...ALL due to my driving-error; & 'hitting' a curb, etc. BIG O was incredibly kind, thorough, etc. in evaluating my needs/repair, etc..In my Opinion, they repaired it & 100% made my steering 'well' again. My wife took her car in and they upcharged her for stupid stuff stuff. I'm thinking it's because she's a woman and doesn't know anything about cars. they didn't give her any kind of report of the status of the tires/brakes ect. and didn't top up any fluids. she needed a brake light changed and they damage the plastic in the trunk. she said she saw 3 of them struggling to get access to the bulb and it took them an extra 30 mins after the oil change for them to change the bulb. they didn't reset the oil change warning light and they didn't even add a sticker of the milage for when to return for another oil change. $120 for oil change and 1 simple break light. Big O in pleasant hill has some issues with a truck they dropped off their lift, this one is just poorly run. I won't be going to any big o again. they also just cancelled all their big o credit cards. starting to see why they decided to do that read more

Came in for an oil change and new tires and found out from the mechanic that a previous shop that had worked on my car had removed my smog equipment&replaced my spark plugs with cords with breaks in them . Amazing customer service, replaced my spark plugs and gave me the info about my car that I needed to go back to the previous shop and get my parts back. read more
