I bought a living social deal (3 oil changes for $30) for this place and was not expecting much, except for three oil changes of course. I left happily surprised with the quality of customer service and lack of hassle! My only gripe is that you cannot schedule appointments for oil changes, so it took me a while before I was able to summon the willpower to get up and arrive at 7:00 AM sharp, thus assuring the shortest wait time (no wait to be exact!). I will not be taking any of my vehicles to Big O Tires in the future. Here's why: Several weeks ago I took my vehicle in for an alignment, with the complaint that the steering wheel was off to the left. It turns out that my front wheel bearings needed to be repacked. I had both things done: repacking of bearings and an alignment. Well, my steering wheel ended up off to the right post alignment. I dropped it off again to be fixed. I picked it up and drove off to work, only to find that nothing at all had been changed! After a third try at alignment my steering wheel ended up off to the left once again, but I cut my losses at that point. Little did I know that the wheel bearing repacking had been done incorrectly as well: I just spent an additional $170 out of my pocket to have a different, trusted shop diagnose a creaking sound from the front end of my vehicle that mysteriously started right after this series of botched alignments. It turns out that Big O Tires did not set the bearing preload properly and the front driveshafts and spindle bushings were bereft of grease. Moral of the story: Big O has convenient locations all over Denver. They may even be decent as a tire place, per se. After this debacle with the 3 alignment attempts and the poor quality work on my vehicle's front end I'm not going back, as they've already wasted enough of my time and money. read more

Came in for a possible tire repair. Been here over an hour. Asked the progress; found out the mechanic, screwed with the tire lock so much that he stripped the lock nut. Attempted it myself and confirmed he stripped it. When confronting the mgr about. The mechanic had the nerve to come in and to my face tell me that I broke it and that he did not. Now I'm actually pissed, wasn't before the dumbass blamed me. I can only assume he's broken things before, since he took it upon himself to make sure he told me and the mgr I was to blame. Props to the mgr for keeping calm. He handled my new problem with professionalism and came up with a solution. Although he did not apologize for his employee's rude and uncalled for accusations. I would not recommend this location to my friends, nor will I return. Big O Tires responses are incredibly full of bullshit!! 1) NO YOUR MGR DID NOT APOLOGIZE FOR THE STRIPPED LOCKNUT. 2) NO APOLOGY FOR RUDE EMPLOYEE 3) NO YOUR MGR DID NOT GIVE A TIME OF COMPLETION. 4) NO I WAS NOT OFFERED A RIDE ANYWHERE 5) Gee, thanks for not charging me for 4 lug nuts. Great service! Breck the manager, Javier our sales rep, and Cesar our tech were AWESOME! We have a 44' toy hauler towed by a long bed one ton GMC Sierra crew cab and they were able to fit us in their lot, get the tires we needed, change them all out (7 tires total), help with a warranty issue with the original tire manufacturer and get us back on the road in about an hour and a half. This is the only Big O Tires in the Denver area that could fit our huge rig and accommodate our requests. They went above and beyond to help and make us happy... Thanks guys! You rock! read more

If I could give this store zero stars I would, My fiance would even go negative stars it was so terrible. So igonore First off I would like to say that we both have been using Big O for quite some time and have never had problems with them until now. We actually live right down the street so it was very convenient for us to take our vehicles to this Peoria location, but we will no longer be doing so. We spent almost $2,000 to fix a 2003 Buick's brake system and get a couple ofand I was very excited to get this car back and have it running perfect again and not have a bunch of dash lights on, however when I picked it up at 5:45 pm all of those lights (BRAKE, ABS, and TRACTION OFF) were still on AS WELL AS AN ADDED LIGHT. *check tire pressures*. and the lady at the desk - I think her name was Maureen but unfortunately I am unsure if that is correct, told me they should ALL be off and if I bring it back the next morning (because the technician had apparently already left) they would take care of me first thing. Well when I brought it back first thing at 7:05 the next morning, BRECK (that name is 100% correct) told me those brake lights haven't been turned off from the dash because it is a "separate problem", that wasn't even added to the quote? When I pay $2000 to fix my brakes, I want the BRAKE light OFF!!!! How are you only going to fix half of the problem and not even acknowledge the rest? I asked him "shouldn't the ABS and the brake system work harmoniously together and he just said "that's separate" ***Phone rings, in the middle of him very poorly just telling me the problem is "separate" and he answers and doesn't put them on hold to finish our conversation. I will admit that I was very pissed off at this point and I needed to be on my way to work already so I said that "this shop sucks and I just spent a bunch of money here for the problem to not get fixed that's just F**ckin great" and I walked out. He made no attempt at trying to fix the problem. He made no attempt at trying to diffuse my anger or answer any of my questions properly. My Fiance came in with the car the very next morning (today) and Breck was there and again was still dodging the main question as to "why would you not even at least acknowledge those lights and tell us what to do?" So he got upset because he doesn't like to repeat himself more than once. Well turns out the most unhelpful employee at Big O , BRECK HOWARD is the Peoria Store manager! Icing on the cake is that he said "F*** YOU" to my fiance as he was leaving, in front of two other customers! What kind of manager says that to a customer that has paid for a service at your shop, what kind of manager doesn't know how to properly explain the problem or properly diffuse an upset customer? We both have never been so disrespected after spending that much money before. Very disappointed. I tried reaching out to the owners of the store with this review before going here, got no response and a few other 5 star reviews got posted on their page the same day! Will definitely go here again! Was actually told to go here by a Discount Tire who said that Big O Tires can plug holes rather than patch, and the patch Discount Tire uses was too big and would require me to get a whole new tire... on a 2 month old tire. SO first I was extremely appreciative of that Discount Tire guy for being honest. I get to this Big O Tires and I will say, it did take a little bit for someone to help me - but it was near the end of the day and I could tell people were tired. Anyway, they say they will be able to help me right then and there but it will take a while, I say ok I have no other choice. It does take about 2 hours - but again, I got there at 330pm on a Saturday afternoon - and the guy did say it would take a while. When my car was done, the owner/manager/whomever was in charge said that he was so sorry that it took so long he wouldn't charge me for it! I discovered a nail in my tire that was quickly losing air quickly. I called and asked if I could swing by to get it fixed. Since I was on my lunch I didn't have much time and needed it done quickly. Javier the Service Manager said it would be taken care off right away. I pulled up, they had a little company meeting in the garage. This store sold me two tires, an alignment @ 1,100.00 last November. I had a flat on the way in to work this morning and dropped the car there to have it repaired. When I picked it up I was charged 20.00 - My wife reminded the Big O by our house does flat repairs for free so I went online and stated these facts and that technicians came and went in the show room not wearing a mask (I was) AND IT IS THE LAW IN DENVER AND COLORADO. The guy that charged me the 20 called me regarding my complaint and said I SHOULD HAVE TOLD THEM THAT I HAD DONE BUSINESS WITH THEM BEFORE and they would not have charged me. WHAT?? I confirmed with the lady that checked me in that my information was on file from November and was NEVER asked my name, etc... An attempt to weasel out of refunding my $$, in my opinion. Obviously Big O desperately needs the 20.00 so they can keep it as it will be the :LAST dollar I ever spend with any BIG O location. Unfortunately this was not a good experience, I came in today at 9:30am because it is first come first serve. I was told that it would be about 2 hours to get an oil change and my tires rotated. It's now 3:00pm and they just started on my car. I've been sitting here for 4 hours and no one has addressed me what so ever. They place seemes very unprofessional, the employees were playing around and chased each other around for a couple of Red Bulls, and there's profanity up the wazoo. When I came up to address the wait, I got eye rolls as if I'm nuisance. I'm not impressed by the service I have received today and honestly I feel as if I was just forgotten. Really deserves a 0 rating though. Got ripped off by the manager no less!!! Tried charging me $900 dollars for 4 new tires that were supposed to be buy 3 get one free at $117 per tire. How does that math add up??? You tell me... all in all I got him to lower the price after explaining I felt I was getting a raw deal. Ended up paying $475 for the same set of tires without all the added bullshit charges he added. Just can't believe how much he took advantage of me just because he could. This big O tire is an absolute joke. My work always goes to them because it's close to our location. So I thought I would try and have them oil change my car. Worst mistake of my life. They forgot to tighten the drain plug so I had oil splashed all over the undercarriage of my SS Impala and found out I was driving on almost 2 quarts low. Yesterday I took my work vehicle in to get it oil changed, tire rotation, and a flat repair not only were they not done with the vehicle by 830 today I get driving my vehicle to make my first stop and they did not rotate my tires or even fix my flat. I discovered some damage to the sidewall of my tire and took my car up to this Big O on 47th and Peoria. I was fully expecting the guy to tell me that I absolutely had to replace it and had to buy two tires at least. These tires are pricey, about $450 each. But no! He checked it out and said it was fine and there was no need to buy one tire, let alone two. So I didn't buy anything from here but I'd definitely come back. read more

I called to find out the charhe to look at my car to find out why it was smoking. Spoke to Sam who informed me it was at no cost! Turned out to be a lot wrong with my car. No money and no idea how I was going to pay the $1,000 worth if work it needed, Sam told me to call Snap, a place that helps finance you to get your car fixed. I was approved and dropped my car off. I got it back in two days and it runs very well! I can't say thank you enough to Sam for his caring heart and wonderful customer service. I'm writing this to warn others. I was advised after this incident they don't hire certified techs. On Friday my son took his car in for a tire rotation job completed. On Saturday my sons brakes failed causing him to run a red light and t- bone another car. By the grace of GOD No one was killed. That following Wednesday I called the manager of the store and asked for the stores insurance carrier so I could file a claim. The manager refused to give it to me, he told me to have my insurance sue or whatever they were going to do. What I can't understand is if you did nothing wrong why the nasty response. I don't want to sue I simple want help with getting a independent car inspection. Never again will I use BIG O tires. From now on I'm going to a big dealer it's worth the extra money! read more

Glad I waited 1.5 weeks to write this review. I was so pleased when I went to get my tire patched that it didn't take forever and they were friendly. Only to find out a week and a half later that they stripped the bolt when putting my tire back on. It will now cost over $300 to get it fixed because they failed to provide me with any paperwork. Brought in my 02 4runner to have an alignment done. I was told that my passenger front tire could not be aligned because there was no room for adjustment in the tie rod. I was told that the problem was most likely in my steering rack, and that would need replacing. I took the car back to my work where I have access to alignment racks, tools, Alldata, and a combined 400+ years of experience from my fellow coworkers. Upon further investigation, all I had to do was back out my tie rod end to give myself the room for adjustment. The only reason I took it to Big O was so I wouldn't have to do the work myself, and in the end, that's exactly what I needed to do. I've had good luck with Big O's in the past, but I can say, I will definitely not be taking my car back here. In the end, Big O will be fine with losing this customer, this is just disappointing. read more

It is dumpy, wait times are long and staff is rude and unhelpful, event hough they say the will "move mountains for you" they don't actually follow through with actions. They did not follow instruction for using my keyless entry and as a result ruined my ignition. When I called back to discuss it, I was told the owner had to be consulted and I would get a call right back. Two hours later I followed up after not hearing anything. We bought a Group on special (3 oil changes) and were not expecting much - simple oil change, simple service. During our very first visit to this location to use our first oil change voucher - we were horribly disappointed. 8 (yes eight) hours later - and my husband called me to say he is still sitting there, on his only day off, waiting for them to complete the simple task of changing oil on our car! We have NEVER experienced such horrible service anywhere else - and we have been taking cars into various service stations for over 40 years! Wish we could get a refund for our next 2 oil changes... as I will need to plan an entire day for each one to get done. What a waste! Will NEVER go back again after we use our vouchers. read more

I don't understand why when i bring my vehicle in at 830 in the morning on a snowy slow day it takes 4 hours to change two tires??!!! TWO TIRES!!! Maybe, just maybe because Sam the front desk clerk is not in tune at all with what is going on in the bays....Shouldn't it be the front desk responsibility to inform customers of how long you may have to wait? I would think that would be great customer service which this location certainly doesn't have. After 4 hours...Im thinking they must be done now...Sure they were done..but i didn't receive a call to notify me my vehicle was finished;that's Strike One. Next I get in my vehicle to notifications that i didn't have when i dropped mmy vehicle off...So I ask the tire tech Cesar "Why is my battery light on? Changing tires has nothing to do with my batttery." He simply replied with "I don't know why, maybe it was on when you brought it in". I could have choked him with that answer. I know my light was not on. All I know is their work at this location is VERY SKETCHY...be aware!!! read more
