Came here to have a simple patch to my tire from a screw. They wanted to charge me $29 to take it out. The kid at the counter said they need to rebalance the tire and all that nonsense. Don't bother with that. Just take your car down the road to DISCOUNT TIRE they do it for free. I can understand if the screw was in my side wall and it's not fixable, but a simple patch should be free. The worst. I kick myself coming for an oil change and tire rotation. They lost my lexus wheel lock, got a new one from dealership 3 hours later we are able to do a rotation. Next service, 3 months later, 9 o'clock appt. At 11am they pull car out and say they can't find the wheel lock and can't do rotation. I show them where it is stay another hour in waiting area and they say I can reschedule with them a later day to do rotation, or just a couple hours more. Got an alignment still was pulling to the right I went back to make an appointment and the man who helped me was so rude, 1 word answers, very short and unprofessional to the fullest extent. He was a Mexican American and I was wearing a pro Trump mask he clearly was not liking me and it showed. I had a 8am appointment, car still not moved @820 then gets worked on. It gets finished yet I was not notified by the same employee. Went to get a valve replaced and they wanted to replace my entire tire. Took it to my usual mechanic and luckily it was only the valve (like I told them before). No one greets you when you walk in they just talk amongst themselves. The price is also double comparing to Costco and everywhere else. I have to give Big O TIres an incomplete at this point. I made an appointment to have just an oil change. After sitting in the waiting room for about 40 minutes, my car had yet to be brough back to be serviced. I had another appointment to get to and was a little irritated that after making a specific appointment my car hadn't been started so I asked for keys back. That turned into a cluster f&^k as they could not locate my keys. After about 10 minutes the keys were located and the owner or general manger apologized and offered two free oil changes if I want to come back. He noted they had a number of new people and he was trying to straighten things out. That is why I am giving an incomplete at this point. The positive is from the initial contact, which was a phone call I made to get information and a quote. The rep was friendly, and patient with my questions. I had quotes already from my dealership and Discount Tire. About 15-20 minutes after this initial, I called back, got the same rep, and let him know I was coming in. He didn't recall me or the tires/discussion at first, but then he indicated he remembered. I was there 10 minutes later and asked for him. Again he didn't recall me or the tires I had decided on over the phone. his solution was to rattle off a couple of brands, but I didn't remember. He then started having difficulty with his computer, so he says, and had another person come over and proceeded to figure out the tires I wanted. She rang me up at $900+..I don't remember the exact amount because the 900 part caught me off guard. I told her I was quoted $791 on the phone and her reply was "That's the basic pakage." I asked her what the difference was and she said the roadside package. I told her that the the person on the phone said the quote included the roadside package. I told her, based on the principle of the matter, I would take my business to Discount. read more

I had to call them twice to check status and got placed on hold twice at least 6 minutes each. 3+ hours to change out one tire. I purchased warranty on a tire less than a year ago. I've had to replace this tire at least 3 times already, each time costing me $50 for a replacement. The tires are junk! Please just go to Costco and spend on quality tires. I had a really great experience at the store. It was very short and sweet and I greatly appreciated that. My daughter's car was blowing hot air and of course we can guess it probably needs Freon, but who knows. I was able to bring my car in on a Saturday afternoon around 1 PM and I expected to leave it overnight which was no big deal because they're actually open on Sunday's. when I brought the car in there were a couple options that I had, but not knowing much about cars it was somewhat confusing and I couldn't exactly call my husband because he was at work. The young man at the counter did explain everything to me, but because of no fault of his own I just didn't understand so the manager politely stepped in and gave a better explanation so I can make the right choice. Even so, with me having to decide which route I wanted to go there was always a solution following that should that not work out. More specifically I had to decide if I wanted them to get in there and look around or if I just wanted to go for what we thought the issue was. We definitely went with The obvious and I also added in an oil change because who knows when the last time that happened, LOL. Do you know that they were able to finish the car same day? I am not sure if that is standard and I definitely don't want to assume this would happen every time, but for the store to be so busy and for them to set the expectation of me having to pick my car up the next day and it to be completed the same day was absolutely wonderful. I think the price was fair to average, but the fact that they were able to get everything taken care of so quickly made it even better. On top of that, the customer service was great. Everyone is so polite and happy to help which I don't find as always being the case when I patron many places these days because we're all going through a lot. I remember a few years ago when Big O came to this location. Was looking forward to using them since I didn't like experience with Firestone. Bought some tires for our Prius; got two replaced. And then two more two years ago. Their "big o" tires don't last. But they have 3 year limit on the warranty. So this am, went in and, sure enough, they say that the two old ones are totally wore out and needing to be replaced. Only 40k miles on them, they are 65k tires, but we are just outside the 3 year limit so no coverage. Cost to replace them? $355 all in - for two tires! Checked with Samsclub - for four tires with 6 year, 65k warranty, it's cheaper than $355, so I'm going with them. Also, the guy at the counter said he had called me when he absolutely did not. AND they are pushing the nitrogen in the tires at a hefty price which i think personally is pure garbage and an absolute scam. Done with them forever. read more

Had a truly disappointing experience with employee "Jonah". We dropped our RV off in the morning for tire air fill and another tire service and were told that it would be complete by 5pm. We called at 5:30 and spoke with Jonah, nothing had been done. He went on to say that he never promised it would be done today. We'd just purchased 7 new RV tires from this store a couple months ago. I asked Jonah for his manager and he said he was "not going to go down that road with me" and hung up. I went to pick up my RV at 6pm closing time and my keys were on the counter. What used to be a business that I can trust has changed in the last few years. When I dropped my car off to repair a tire that had a nail in it they called me back telling me they couldn't repair it because there were multiple nails in. And not only that but they told me my other rear tire had the same issue and my front ones were in desperate need of replacement. I found that to be fishy so I told them I need to shop around eleswhere. When I took my car to discount tires they told me they couldn't find any nails on my other tire and my front ones were fine. 5/3/24. I bought 4 tires at this location 2 years ago for my 2020 Lexus Rx350. Since then I've bought 4 new tires for my 5th wheel rv and two tires for my second car. The Lexus tires now have 33,000 miles on them and they were wearing slightly uneven. I asked BigO to check the tires out. After about 30 minutes the service guy told me that they rebalanced the tires for free and I was good to go. I asked how out of balance they were. The service guy went back in shop to ask the technician and came back to tell me that he had new information and that I needed 4 new tires! That's quite a different prognosis! I asked to speak to the manager as I had a hard time understanding how I went from a free balance to needing 4 new tires. The manager listened to my question and then proceeded to tell me I needed all new struts at $3,000! and he never looked at the car nor spoke to the mechanic!!! The car has 48,000 miles on it. I was shocked and left the store. I took the car to another shop (not BigO) and they inspected the struts said they were good for another 20-30,000 miles and that what I needed is an alignment for less than $100. They had to replace the oil pan for $600+ when the oil pan had zero issues before arriving at their location. Ladies and Gentlemen! Here is the perfect example of a business to avoid... Especially if you're a woman. This review is based on my girlfriend's recent experience at this Big O Tires location. Let me begin by explaining something to the grease monkeys who "work" at Big O Tires in Goodyear. When my girlfriend came in last week for an oil change, she didn't need the oil change done for her. She is plenty capable, and proud of the fact, that she can do that on her own. But she did want her tires rotated. And she saw that Big O would rotate the tires with an oil change. Shame on you for charging $75 for an oil change and claiming the rotation is "free"! Shame on you for NOT rotating her tires and claiming they were "bald" and "unroadworthy". Take a look at the photo below. And shame on you Bill for lying about the condition of her tires! You were either being lazy and didn't want to be bothered to rotate the tires or figured you could sell a new set of tires to a woman who didn't know any better. Neither option is very honorable Bill. Not only will you never change my girlfriend's trucks oil again, but you will never have the opportunity to sell her tires when she actually needs them! Beware of this location! One of my tires kept showing low tire pressure so I took it to this location to see if they could figure out what was going on. Turns out I had a nail, so when i asked if it could be patched the man immediately said "no." He said no because the tire was "worn out" and then walked around my whole car and said "actually you need all four new tires." Keep in mind I bought my car 4 months ago! I decided to get a second opinion at the dealership, and they simply patched up my tire for free and said all my tires were new. On 1/31/2024, I had a tire with a screw in it. As soon as I realized I found the closest Big O Tire, Litchfield and Indian School, head in as quickly as possible because I was losing tire pressure quickly. I arrived at approximately 5:40 pm. I waited while Jolynn helped the 2 customers in front of me. I get to the counter and explain what's going on, and she tells me to pull to bay 2, and the techs can put air in the tire. I explain that it doesn't need air because I've lost 15 psi in just over an hour. I'm told to let the guy look at it. When I pull around, both techs are sitting distracted with their phones. One guy who comes over looks at the tire tells me there is a screw in it. He says he'll put air in it to get me home because they close at 6 pm. It's now 5:50 and 10 mins isn't enough time to repair the tire. I am flabbergasted, seriously?! He tells me to talk to Jolynn. When I go to the lobby, she is on the phone. As I listen to her conversation, I realize it's a personal call, and she's discussing being off tomorrow. Once she gets done, I get the same song and dance from her about closing time. I'm about to lose it when I explain what good does air do for me. When I wake up tomorrow, I'll have the same issue or a complete flat tire. I asked what happened to customer service? We close at 6 pm. You've got to be kidding me?! Send me on my way with a screw in my tire, and don't worry about my safety or more inconvenience because you close at 6 pm. Finally, she agreed to fix it. Here's the kicker, it took them 15 minutes to fix it. In the time they took to argue and make personal phone calls, it would have been completed by 6 pm. I had posted a one star review for this place after being treated poorly by an employee who claimed to be the manager after I discovered black oil (?) all over my beige leather seats, side panel and carpet. The original post detailed the situation. The black came off easily and the technician was super sweet and apologetic. My husband and I took no issue with that. They cleaned it and it was fine. It was our interaction with the man claiming to be the manager that led to the complaint/review. THE UPDATE: My husband received a call this morning from Ryan, the REAL store manager. In less than 24 hours, Big O's ownership and managers took immediate action against the employee. They apologized for the employee's behavior and offered to detail our car. This immediate response proves this organization cares about its customers and its quality of customer service. Even if something goes wrong, they will make it right. I have nothing but bad things to say about Big O Tire Company on Indian School Road. I do not recommend them at all. Their maintenance never spotted a major leak in the engine and it had to be overhauled as it was recalled by Subaru. Had I not had a warranty with Subaru, it would have been close to $5,000. On top of that, one tire had to be replaced so I bought a tire. By the end of the day, it became four tires as they said with AWD, all four tires needed to be replaced and it came with a warranty. Note that there were only 21,000 miles on all four tires. Fine. 18 months later, all new four tires' treads were in bad shape. I went back there but they would not honor the warranty because I did not have all my servicing done there. What kind of crap is that? I went back there today, and the new manager went over all invoices with me and suddenly (?) I have no warranty....????? And all those who worked on my car servicing and the tire situation are gone. Please save yourself time, money, and aggravatation and go elsewhere. This was a horrible situation and the owner who lives in Pebble Creek was supposed to call me yesterday and never did.
