I dropped my car off today to have some work done, however when I picked up my car, my bank receipt was on the front counter and 100 dollars + some pocket change was missing out of my car. I went from the bank to big O' tires and placed two fifty dollar bills in my cars hidden change department to get gas immediately after. Things in my console were also disturbed, where the pocket change was taken by an employee. I'm just truly disappointed in this situation, my experience with Jason was great. I came to Big O Tires because the reviews were great and suggested the company promoted honesty. I wish this unfortunate situation would of been rectified, especially after the amount I paid them for their services. Update: 11.8.2022 After returning to Big O Tires today to relook at the issue that occur on Saturday, I can now rate Big O Tires four stars. Jason and his wife were very helpful in rectifying the situation that occur last Saturday. My car is working properly now, and all other issues were handled in an appropriate and professional manner. OK, so I took my car in for a routine oil, change, alignment, tire, rotation, and top off fluids. I ended up getting all these things done, except they decided to flush my transmission system. I was so shocked when they gave me the BILL of $682.00. After that they gave me a breakdown of the things that I should get done next time and asked me if I want to schedule it that same day. I was very polite and said no I don't know why I was polite I was just in so much shock. It is really hard for me to afford anything in the first place because I'm on disability for kidney disease and I live on a fixed income. Needless to say I had to use my debit and a credit card to pay them and it took up all my money for the month. Thank God I have family that cares about me to help anyway, I really wish they would've told me they were going to flush my transmission system because that was the most expensive thing, the whole time down there I was telling my sister I hope it's not more than $200. I hope it's only at least 150 I could afford that. So when they told me it was over $600 I about crapped my pants and passed out. They told me I need three new tires new brakes that would cost me $1200 because they recommend that you flush them when I can have them done for $40 by my son-in-law, I have a front right boot coil joint whatever you wanna call it is leaking and that would be $700. The list goes on and on it's insane and the whole reason I went down there in first place is because I had a check engine light on, I'm so stupid I ended up going back and paying $156 to get a full car diagnostic and they told me my transmission was screwed and gate would be better to buy a new car! I told him I just bought that car in November 2022. So in other words, I'm SOL, I won't be going back because I feel like because I'm a woman and because I don't know about cars they took advantage of that never asking me if this service or that service would be OK. Maybe they heard me say transmission but I didn't say flush I was talking about checking the fluids or topping things off, but I just had to say my peace and I guess I will move on, but I'll never go back there again!! Exceedingly Shady! I received my father's jeep after his passing and my step mother wanted to make sure everything was in good shape. They had always taken it to Big O so that's where it went. $3500 dollars later, everything is said to be ready. Fast forward 2 weeks and the check engine light comes on. I stopped at an auto parts store and had the code read before returning to Big O so I would know if it's a new issue or something that was "fixed." It was a coolant system fault which was "checked and serviced" previously. First thing I'm asked to do is sign a new contract for a diagnostic service to a tune of $145 plus tax. No, master mechanic rates don't exceed $85/hr and that's what a diagnostic should run, 1 hours labor. I'm told the technician has gone home for the day and I don't have a ride home so I respond that I'll return the next day. I go over my invoice at home and low and behold it included "Coolant Service" for $150, 9qts of coolant $89, and the flush kit (they use a vacuum to make sure all the fluid is out) for another $150. The code that I'm getting is a P0128 which is coolant system irregularity. When I return to the shop the following day I bring the invoice with me and am again asked to sign a new contract. I refuse. We go back and forth and I'm eventually asked to leave the store. Wouldn't want any other customers hearing wild tales of nearly $4k charges and vehicles still throwing codes. Long story short, they don't do what they say they will and they don't stand by their work. When they're called on their BS, they kick you out of the store. Now cue Lana's canned response about how sorry they are that they couldn't bilk me out of more money, and how they pride themselves on their exorbitant prices and cut rate services. Buyer beware, this place is sketchy AF! read more

I had a to fill up my tire every 2 weeks and stopped by to just get it filled really quick. The super helpful rep, Julio, filled it up but also offered to check it out for me on the spot. I let him know I needed to get back to work, but assured me it would be quick. He found a nail, had it patched, and parked outside for me in 15 minutes and no charge for patching.
