If you don't mind returning because you smell a faint smell of gas after having a PVC Valve and Spark Plugs changed, but wait ... check good because you might have oil leaking from the same visit where they didn't get the oil plug torqued tight enough and you have nothing but time on your hands to sit and wait when you take your car back because you got more than just tires there ... then you've come to right place. Called before i had taken the time out to drive out there. They said they do what i needed to be done and had given thwn my tire size and the cost would be 25 dollars. I drive 30 mins to get there and they said it would be an hour before thwy could do anything which is understandable. About 20 mins go by and they said they can no fix my tire because they dont have the machine big enough for my tire. Why didnt they say that over the phone when i told them the size and told them what i needed insteading of telling me they could. A total waste of time and waste of gas going. read more

Counterintuitive to the success of many operations, Big O in Plainfield has improved their service in the overall operations the technicians who interact with customers. I do not have any hesitation to recommend Big-O Plainfield based on my experience. I have often leaned toward them because they offer me a good explanation of needs and offer alternatives and information if I chose to tackle a job myself. I used to go here all the time to get an oil change, after all it does say 10 minute oil change, which is great when I have to bring my kiddos. The guys working there are all really nice, no problems there. My problem is the wait got longer and longer. After waiting over 2 hours for an oil change with a 2 year old I was less than pleased. Every time a vehicle was finished a guy would come out and tell the owner, "its done, but i noticed you needed this and this and that and If you do it now I can do it at a discounted rate." LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER. When my car was done they tried to tack on an extra $300 to my $30 oil change that id been waiting over 2 hours for. I stopped going because I want to go in for an oil change and not be bugged about more service that I have NO CLUE about(and ive fallen for it once or twice) Enough is enough, do what the customer asks and leave it at that. read more

Very disappointed! I had one short afternoon off and got to spend way too much of it here waiting! Sat staring at the 10 minute oil change sign for well over an hour. When I finally had to ask them to check on my car, he came back and said there had been a problem with the car in front of me and it had been sitting there waiting to get the tires rotated. He said it would be done in 10 minutes, yeah right. I said I just want to leave after waiting so long and they checked me out for full price and said I could come back at my convenience to get my tires done. This whole this was inconvenient and you want me to come back after you charged me full price for wasting this much time without getting everything I was promised? After all the follow up the store came through and we came up with a solution on the damaged wheels. The replaced one wheel and I agreed to have the other three polished and re-coated with a sealant.
