Stopped by after getting a nail in my tire and the service was prompt and efficient - exactly what everyone wants from car services! I initially missed the parking lot so stopped at the next tire shop and they told me it would be several hours before they could even get to me. So I decided to go back to my original plan of Big O Tires and I have no regrets! The gentleman who helped me saw me pull in and immediately greeted me as I walked up, asked what I needed, and gave me all the info. I sat in the waiting room and it was done before I knew it! Quick and painless, didn't try to sell me anything, etc. Cost me $40 and ~45 minutes of my time and I was good to go. New Year....new services at Big O Tires! For a "tire place" this location is consistently busy. It's first come, first serve so I like to swing in at the early morning hours. I come here to buy tires, get rotations, and alignments. I have an electric car so I'm always worried about taking my car to the right place, some place where the mechanics have experience with electric cars. At this Big O Tires I see quite a few electric cars so I feel comfortable that they can do the job. The people here are friendly and courteous, especially the two gentlemen that mans the checkin workstations. I think their prices are reasonable. I also like that they're open all seven days because most auto shops are not. To me, a place that's open Saturdays and Sundays are always my first choice. read more

Response to establishments response. No you charged me 39.99 to take one wheel off, set one spacer and took it off and put one wheel back on. I ended up adding the same spacers onto my car myself and they fit like a glove, no issues other than your mechanic failed to wire brush the hub before attempting fitment, big dawg. read more

Avoid this shop! I purchased a 3 year alignment warranty this weekend, after installing new tires, and noticed the vehicle was still pulling to one side. I stopped by today to have it realigned and service technician Tim refused to realign it. I didn't argue and will just deal directly with headquarters. This store appears to only provide service if you're spending money, and clearly avoid honoring a service warranty. What a disappointment! read more

terrible customer service. i purchased A three year unlimited alignment for 250 bucks. as soon as i walk in another employee walked in and kept telling the employee that was helping me that they close at three. it was 225 when i walked in. they told me because the location i purchased it at is within 50 miles they said they can't help me. honestly it felt like they just wanted to go home. thanks for nothing definitely will never give big o tires my business ever again. read more

Was on the way to gym when my bf's tire just popped on Imperial Hwy. He was desperate to get it fixed since his car is slammed and we just happened to have stumbled on Big O Tires. Not sure what the guys' names are, but they were super friendly, attentive and personable. We were so grateful that they offered to help us bc they were literally closing in 40 mins, but they finished changing his tire in under 10 mins! Not only that, the man in charge gave the tire change on-the-house. We obviously would've paid, but it was so sweet of him to do this!! Especially during these crazy times. Had my tire patched last minute (walk in no appointment) on a Sunday morning when other shops around were closed. There's a place nearby that will patch tires for free but you have to wait half a day. I didn't have that time to wait for that but if you do you can call around and find the shop. But for a convenient quick fix you don't mind paying for I would recommend this shop. ($40 to patch my tire. One hour wait with two people ahead of me.) read more

Mike and Chris were very helpful with a nail in my wife's tire. We didn't have the Wheel lock, so they patched me up and didn't charge me. The service at this Big O Tires was excellent. I called ahead and the associate was able to quote me the cost over the phone. My car was moved into the garage shortly after I arrived and they mounted 4 new tires, TPMS sensors, and balanced the tires on the new wheels for my 4Runner. There were absolutely zero dings or scratches on the new wheels and the service was performed very quickly. All associates were extremely friendly and professional. Horrible. Just horrible. So i got screwed at the Big O tires on Brea Blvd, so i went to this Imperial location and at first the customer service seemed better. So my daughter, my son and i all made an appointment to get tires on our cars. Only my daughter and i had to make a deposit to order the tires. My son went the day before us and no deposit was required. Interesting. Then the guy calls later that afternoon and leaves a message about my daughters breaks. I call him back right away and he mentioned that her brakes were getting worn so i told him not to worry about that- since her car was going into service at the dealer- and to just continue with the tires. He then says the cars are ready for pick up. So we go pick up our cars and pay and go on our way. Then a 2 weeks later my daughter takes her car to the dealer for her service and they tell her that her tires are feathered due to the tires not being aligned properly. What?? So i called Big O and the guy said oh no, we never did alignment on any of the cars. I asked why? He said because when he called me he couldn't get ahold of me and i declined alignment. I told him no, he called once and i missed the call and called back immediately and that no mention of alignment being needed or not included with tires so i had no idea. He said well just bring all the cars back in and pay the few hundred for each car to have it done. No thanks bro. So thankfully the dealer caught it because my daughters new tires would of been trashed. And then i immediately took my car into the dealer got mine aligned too. So this is yet another red X for Big O. I recommend going literally anywhere else for service. * the manager now replies and of course doesn't take responsibility for his crew and and says "it was on the paper you signed". Because putting it on the customer is always a good idea and really made my point to begin with. Nice. My advice to the manager is to train your employees to maybe go over the paperwork and maybe let the customer know what services they suggest before they are told to pick up their car, and then told to quickly pay and "sign the receipt of payment." Of course i would've had the alignment done with the tires. I had no idea it didn't come with the tires. Again, the employees responsibility. I have learned to read over the receipt before i sign since it was more than just a payment receipt. He only pointed at the amount and said to sign. It looked like any other credit card receipt. But lesson learned- the employees don't tell you what you need, and i shouldn't have counted on the employee to do his job properly. I will go to the dealer moving forward and not recommend Big O tires to anyone. read more
