I always heard fantabulous things about this place but the first and only time I went here I got food poisoning. It was a cheery spring day and my friend and I decided to have a picnic in my bedroom and needed sandwiches. We walked all the way from my house barefoot and I don't even know what we ordered but it was mediocre. We were super excited to get back to my house because we had already set up the picnic blanket on my floor. We ate and danced and ran outside to the swing set. Mid-swinging, I started to feel queasy so I had to interrupt my swinging on this cheery spring day. For the rest of the day, instead of swinging or picnicking, I was on the bathroom floor and without a sandwich on this fine day. What a disappointment. I have visited this establishment about 5 times total. Today was not a good day :( One of my orders was wrong I ordered 1/2 cheeseburger sub and the kitchen came out with a whole, instead of them just giving it to me the cashier sent it back to be cut in 1/2. Mind you I spent almost $50.00 in subs. Then when I got home it was wrong....I called returned to the shop for a new sub and the cashier had the nerve to ask for the wrongly made sub, I said I'd give it to a homeless man as there are a few in my town...he says oh I was gonna throw it away!! It's a small, local, family owned shop so the attention to detail is evident. They're generous with their portions and everything they serve from their massive sub sandwich list is fresh. Food and service are great but the place itself is old, out dated and beyond filthy. If the sandwiches weren't so good and if they weren't so popular I'd assume the food was dirty too and never come here. It takes only a few minutes to dust, clean your windows and make the place look more appetizing. read more

The subs here are always delicious. The service is very friendly and the food is made relatively quickly. I've been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience. My only issue is that they only accept cash which is a bit of a hassle in this day and age when most things (including my paycheck) are done electronically. There is NO sub place that compares to this ! I've been coming here for years. They have every combination you could think of and the best selection (breakfast/lunch/dinner). The portion size is enormous for the inexpensive price. The place is very clean and the food always tastes fresh. I've never had a bad experience here. I got the Big Wally. Good sandwich with more meat than Subway but less than some other delis. They've taken to using a scale to measure the meat. That's unfortunate. I guess some bean counter recommended that to squeeze an extra 10 cents profit out of each sandwich. Anyhoo, the sandwiches are very good and the service was quick. Always great sandwiches, but the other day one of the young guys behind the counter had a terrible body odor which turned me off from my food. This is not the first time I noticed the smell from this employee but hopefully the last. I worked in the restaurant business so I understand how important this issue is. Please tell your staff to practice good hygiene while handling food. Never had a bad sub so they get five stars. read more

I went to try this sub shop and I ordered a #8 which is a turkey sub with the works. In my opinion it was very good. The presentation was good, as it looked like a decent sized sub and filling. The bread and deli meat were both fresh. They have a large variety of options to meet almost every taste pallet. The price was competitive with other sub shops. As you will pay about $10 on average per sub. The wait time was about what I expected to find for a good sub. They have a variety of chips to choose from and beverage. They offer cups but no ice. The staff were friendly and the ambience clean although a little cluttered. It was worth the drive and I will go back again to try something different. read more

Came across this place so randomly I doubt I could find it again without GPS. Was driving to Atlantic City and needed to stop for gas. Got a bit turned around looking for the gas station but finally found one after dealing with google maps. There is nothing fancy about this place. They are here to fill up your stomach with tasty sandwiches. The menu inside is nothing more then paper plates with the menu items written on them. Prices were great. I wasn't aware of this but NJ is a huge sandwich/hoagie/grinder/sub state. More so then Philly. There was some sandwich combos I have never even heard of before. Sadly it was kinda early in the morning and I decided to get breakfast. The sausage egg and cheese I got was the best SEC I have ever ordered from a deli or otherwise.
