This is my favorite place to go for subs, breakfast sandwiches, wraps and more. The service is exceptional and the staff is more than happy to help give you suggestions as it can get difficult to choose from so many fresh different subs. Ingredients are always super fresh and tasty. If you have a craving and you cannot think of what to eat then this is the place to go as they have almost anything you heart desires. Enjoy the gimmick - creative sandwich names on an extensive menu. The subs themselves are just OK. Hot pastrami was balanced. The grilled chicken salad was barely edible. Big Wally's is one of the best sub shops in the area. From the start, the bread is outstanding, and naturally always fresh. The ratio of meat to cheese is excellent. I've been to some shops that pile the meat and the cheese on, making the sub difficult to eat. But Big Wally's has the right ratio. And you don't have to take your sub with provolone. If there is another cheese that can be sliced, odds are that they have it. My review is based mostly on cold subs, but I did try the cheeseburger sub which was excellent. The prices are more than fair, with many half subs costing less than $6. Of course with everything good there are draw backs. Lines can be long, but it does move quickly. Parking lot is odd, but that's nit-picky. I just wish they were closer to me. read more

Highly recommended! We "found" Big Wally's during a vacation to New Jersey in June, 2018. A 1/2 sub here is about as big as a large sub in many other shops. The food was fresh, delicious and well-prepared. Clearly these workers take great pride in their product, as they well should! Thank you for a terrific sub! read more

While I absolutely LOVE the subs, prices and amount of meat on each sub... I am SO annoyed at calling in or stopping by only to find out that they've run out of rolls!! Seriously?? It's 5:55pm on a Wednesday...and you've run out? I think its time that someone open a Jersey Mikes here in town! Love this place, have been coming here for years. The menu is enormous and almost overwhelming. Usually we will order the KE Broil, Vinny Fajita, The Demolisher (my husbands favorite and even just a tuna sub (excellent tuna and fresh bread). Best advice is to call your order in ahead because around lunch time this place gets crazy and during the school year after 230pm it is a madhouse as well. read more

Don't ever complain about your order being wrong , the lady at the counter will make you feel like it's your fault instead of saying "sorry were short handed because we wont hIre gIrls to work" while I waited for my order to be corrected she continued to talk s**t about me to the other worker like I wasn't sitting there.... sandwich wrong cause of being short handed = I continue to go to wallys........ being nasty to customers because of your mistake = me & family never going again & telling everyone I know.... read more

Don't bother. You'll get completely hooked because the food is phenomenal. But if you work a normal hour job, it'll be closed before you get home. I've never heard of a place of business that closes at random hours. Today they were closed at 5:15pm. They'll claim it's because they ran out of bread. Time to make more bread guys. almost a year ago we found out about big wally's subs, & we really liked their sandwiches. my husband & his co workers always order from them, & i always go & spend $50 40 38, we never had a problem. until my husband orders 2 whole sandwiches & theymade them both wrong, & we end up throwing them after spending the money. when i call respectfully to explain because we didn't open them till later on after my husband finished work, they were already closed. plus they close at 6 anyways & my husband got them few minutes before they closed. i asked to speak to the manager the next day, they gave me a lady her name's lucy, she was nice & told me she would credit me for a one whole sandwich, which is still not fair, because we paid for 2 whole ones, but i wasn't even calling to get anything out of it, it was just so they don't do that again. i get a call back from lucy telling me that her son took the order & he's sure it was right., why would i lie about that? i explained to her again that my husband always orders the same thing its impossible that he could have mentioned the other sandwich because he doesn't even know it. she tells me again i will credit u for the whole sandwich just this time, i said thank u, even though all this seemed very unprofessional, & when my husband called in like i told him lucy told me to mention my name & that i spoke with her. instead of being nice her son was very rude to my husband, & on top of that he still charged him some money. when i called to speak to lucy to ask why would they do that? her son answers me & he accuses my husband of lying to cover his mistake, & obviously he is the liar. seriously for lucy's son you need to grow up & fix your mistakes not lie about them.
