    Plant Based Steak
    Sami M.

Stopped in for dinner after a day at epic universe and it was such a good experience. I am vegetarian so we stopped in for the plant based steak. Best steak I've ever had! We also started with the Brussels sprouts... phenomenal. Ended the meal with a peach cobbler that melted in my mouth. Really good service as well, our waiter Keith was kind and attentive. We will be coming back and bringing friends!!

The steak was delicious and perfectly cooked! Might be a bit pricey here, but it is worth it. We also got the Premium Angus Ribeye Steak along with the Gorgonzola Truffle Butter (which I felt they should offer a smaller half size for half the price) and it was so good! My friend got the brussel sprouts, and a baked potato and the potato was huge! I did get the Raspberry Lemonade too and it was a refreshing drink. The ambience of this place makes me think of a restaurant you might find at a ski lodge, though this FL girl has never been. Just with the smell of wood in the air is so nice. We had a great server who checked in on us often, that was great service! I would definitely go back.

Here for a friend's birthday about early February! We got seated fairly quickly but I think my friend has the reservation for that! The menu is fairly high price and the receptionist is very friendly. However the server is a little disappointed to us. But anyway, I ordered a salad and a drink. It was ok. The restaurant is clean and well decorated but I felt like it is more for the tourist than my liking!

Another great dinner at Bigfire. This time we were seated in the main downstairs area and it was a busy night. We frequently had people squeezing in between our table and the other ones next to us. I would recommend requesting to sit upstairs. They have some cool seating where you can look over the edge. Our food was delicious, as always, and perfectly cooked. I don't generally like carrots, but these were really good. I had to try my husband's fries, for research purposes, and those were nice and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, hot and fresh.

The outside of the restaurant. Clearly not fancy.

We ate at Big Fire Grill to celebrate my son's 6th birthday. We arrived on a Thursday evening around 5:00 PM with a party of eight. We ordered multiple appetizers, alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, and entrées. One thing that stood out immediately was that we were never offered refills on any of our non-alcoholic drinks throughout the meal, while alcoholic beverages were promptly attended to. As for the food, there were some highlights. The ribeye steak and bone marrow were delicious. However, if you are sensitive to salt, the bone marrow may not be for you. The mussels were also very good. On the other hand, I was not impressed with the ribeye flatbread, as there was very little ribeye flavor. The fondue and Brussels sprouts were completely forgettable, and the trout entrée featured the thinnest piece of fish I have ever been served at a restaurant. Throughout the meal, our server never checked on how we were enjoying our entrées. The biggest disappointment, however, was the atmosphere and service. During our meal, a manager approached our table and told us we were being too noisy. We always strive to be respectful of other guests, but this was surprising and disappointing to hear at a family-oriented restaurant located within a theme park. Our children were seated, interacting with family members, and excitedly participating in conversations. They were not running around, out of their seats, or screaming. We dined at several other restaurants during our trip and never experienced anything similar. We were also celebrating my son's birthday, yet the only acknowledgment he received was a brief "Happy Birthday" when we arrived. Our server never mentioned it, and when our family sang to him at the table, the server did not acknowledge the occasion at all. In all of my years dining out, I have never experienced a birthday celebration being completely overlooked by the waitstaff. Overall, while a few menu items were enjoyable, the service and overall experience left us disappointed. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Big Fire Grill to families with young children looking to celebrate a special occasion.

We grabbed a drink and an appetizer at the Bigfire Bar after leaving a day at Universal and it was the perfect spot! My husband and I each got a cocktail and then we shared the Bourbon Cheese Fondue which was the perfect thing to split. Next time we will have to try an entree!

So yummy! 4 of us had dinner here on Jan the 2nd We ordered the Brussel sprouts and smoked trout dip for appetizers. They were both very delicious!! Brussel Sprouts were cooked perfectly and hit the spot. The smoked trout is delicious! Perfect amount of smoking on a dip made of smoked trout. It's served with crackers and it's wonderful! My wife and daughter ordered the Salmon and loved it! Generous piece of grilled salmon perfectly done was so delicious! I had the short rib and it was yummy! Tender smoked short rib covered with a tangy bbq sauce. Very tender and yummy! My son had the mussel appetizer along with a side of mac n cheese. He loved it! Mussels perfectly cooked served with a cheesy Mac n cheese covered with smoked pulled pork. He loved it! Please see the pictures below and let your eyes do some feasting!

Came in here to have a drink and to avoid the crowds at the Universal buses. We sat at the bar because the wait for a table was a little longer than we would have liked. We had been hoping to sit outside, but they closed that area up for the night as we were arriving. We ordered two drinks and muscles. My husband loved the muscles and devoured them. I got a non alcoholic drink, which I think was the blackberry breeze, that was pretty good. My husband got the PB&J, which was very much alcoholic! The bartender that got our drinks and took our order was very nice.

I got ribeye and a drink. Everything was good. The steak was of good quality but nothing special. At this price point, it's okay. Service is great. They mentioned it could take 30-45 minutes for the steak to come so keep that in mind. The ambiance is loud but nice.

Recommended by a friend, I made a reservation at Bigfire during a recent trip to Universal for a conference. Unfortunately, this ended up being a one-and-done experience for me. Like many of the restaurants at CityWalk, it just didn't deliver. We started with the fondue appetizer, which was good overall, but still a little lacking in flavor. Decent, but nothing memorable. I also ordered the corn bisque to start, and that was a definite miss. The popcorn was odd and completely unnecessary, and the soup itself was bland almost reminiscent of baby food. Terribly under-seasoned. For my main course, I chose the bone-in short rib. The portion was shockingly small for the price less than the size of a deck of cards. The meat was tender and could have been flavorful, but the cold, unpleasant BBQ sauce on top completely ruined it. It was served with an ear of corn that was shriveled, overcooked, and cold, along with a piece of jalapeño cornbread so hard you couldn't even cut it with a steak knife. Overall, Bigfire was a big miss for me.

Bigfire was a fantastic steakhouse we ate at while in Universal studios. Highly recommend making a reservation so you don't need to wait for too long. We sat upstairs and had a whole view of the entire restaurant. Rebekah was our awesome server. We started with the wedge salad since I had been craving one! It came with avocado, red onions, tomatoes, egg, bacon, blue cheese dressing. Each and every ingredient was extremely fresh and delicious. I got my bacon bits on the side. Bigfire is unique in that they enhance their flavor by using live fire and two types of wood for the taste of the meat. We ordered the 14 oz ribeye and the bone in short rib along with the Pork Mac and cheese. My mouth is seriously watering thinking about how delicious and flavorful it all was!!! The bone in short rib was Carolina barbecue style served with grilled corn on the cob, vine tomatoes, cipollini onions, spicy maple glazed jalapeño and cornbread. It actually melted in our mouths and was falling apart with each move of our fork. The ribeye came with asparagus and chimichurri sauce on top. The meats were so incredibly tasty. For dessert, we got the Rocky Road Baked Alaska which came with chocolate ice cream, toasted marshmallows, caramel praline crust, huckleberry core, meringue, and was torched tableside which was fun to witness!! Overall 10/10 experience!!! A must go to steakhouse in universal for sure.

    Steak Knife Burger
    Chris A.

Universal Studios designed restaurant in the heart of Universal City Walk . It's huge ! I went with the Steak Knife Burger - 1/2lb. black Angus beer, honey pepper bacon, smoked pimento cheese, bib lettuce, tomato, signature brioche bun. The burger was juicy and that honey pepper bacon was the perfect combination. The bun was not too overwhelming. The french fries served with the burger not your typical shoestring, pretty big. And very salty. The service was really good, I asked to be moved as a single diner. I was placed in a heavy traffic area. Luckily, I was moved to the second floor, which I suggest for anybody looking for a nice area to dine in this restaurant. My server Kenneth M couldn't have been nicer, which always makes a difference at a dining experience.

The food, although a little pricey, was absolutely amazing. I ordered the Bangin' Shrimp as an appetizer, which blew me away. The shrimp had a tempura fry to it, giving it a perfectly crispy crunch. The sauces that were drizzled on top helped to amplify the flavor of the dish. For my main course, I ordered the Shroom N Swiss burger. I love how thick and juicy the burger patties are. It's hard to find a good burger place that has thick patties, and The Whiskey delivers that meat. Another thing that blew me away was the mushroom that came on top. It sends you text updates, and the technology is actually pretty cool. It can tell when you're not close enough yet and will tell you to check in once you're closer to the restaurant. There were 6 of us in the group, so reserving ahead definitely helped. I actually had to do it twice because we reserved our spot before we left, and by the time we got there, it had timed out. I checked in again, and when we arrived, the host said, "I see you checked in twice." He told us the wait would probably be about 10 minutes, and we ended up waiting less than that before being seated. Considering it's at Icon Park and it was the night of a game, the place was packed with a lot of hustle and bustle. I was impressed that we were seated so quickly, especially with a party of 6. Our waiter, Matt, was amazing, and the food was amazing too. We ordered what felt like almost every appetizer on the menu. We had the Cali Roll Stack, Parmesan truffle fries, crispy Brussels sprouts, spinach dip, and the vegan Gardein wings. The Cali Roll Stack was probably my favorite appetizer. It was so good, and it was made with real crab. Most places use imitation crab, and Matt even told us that's why it's his favorite appetizer too. He was absolutely right. The Gardein wings were surprisingly good. We ordered the Korean chili garlic and Buffalo flavors, and if nobody had told me they were vegan, I probably wouldn't have known. I'd never had a soy-based wing before, but I would definitely order them again. The Parmesan truffle fries were exactly what you want them to be, and the crispy Brussels sprouts disappeared fast. At that point, it seemed like everyone else was tapped out, but somehow we still had room to eat. We ordered the lobster garlic noodles, and they were amazing. They didn't skimp on the lobster either. There were big chunks of real lobster throughout the dish, along with spinach and garlic noodles. Definitely one of my favorite entrées of the night. I also tried the Key Lime Cider, and I liked that they let me sample it before ordering. It ended up being really refreshing and exactly what I was looking for. For dessert, we shared the brownie cookie topped with ice cream. Oh my God. I don't even like chocolate like that, and it was amazing. Yard House has never really disappointed me, but this visit was especially good. I don't know if we were just starving or if the chef was having an exceptional night, but kudos and hats off to the kitchen. Parking was easy too. Levels 3 and 4 of the garage were free, so there was no need to pay or get anything validated. Overall, everything was smooth from start to finish. Great service, great food, easy parking, and a surprisingly short wait despite how busy it was. 10/10, highly recommend.

The atmosphere was lively and fun...definitely a great spot if you're looking for upbeat brunch energy. We started with the deviled eggs, and those did not disappoint. They were flavorful, well-balanced, and probably the highlight of our meal. For entrées, my husband ordered the brunch burger. The menu didn't list bacon, and even after our server double-checked to confirm it wouldn't come with bacon, the burger still came out topped with it. While mistakes happen, it was frustrating having to wait for the order to be remade while the rest of the table was already eating. I ordered the Fruity Pebbles chicken and waffles for my daughter. It was okay, but definitely on the sweeter side. The chicken itself was coated in cereal and then topped with syrup, which made the whole dish very sweet overall -- just a bit underwhelming for us. On a positive note, the kids' portions were great. The mac and cheese and chicken tenders were both solid and generously portioned. Overall, the food was a bit underwhelming for the price point, but I'd probably give it another try...if only for the Maui Mimosa. That drink alone might bring us back.

I had the scramble with avocado bacon Swiss and onion - best egg scramble I have ever had before. Their mash is absolutely delicious. Biscuit is yummy too. The biscuit holes for appetizer were also so delicious and sweet. The chicken and waffles is massive. The waffles are very good and have bacon inside. Need to go back to try more.

It was really loud and there wasn't many soft surfaces to help absorb that sound. The location did appear to be clean. Now let's get to the food. I ordered the fried chicken benedict. Huge sprig of rosemary. Cayenne pepper (if it wasnt cayenne then idk what it was but thats what it tasted like) . Hollandaise was like glue. Maybe it was supposed to be gravy? Batter didnt stay on the chicken. Scrambled eggs in the chicken batter with a slice of cheese. Deep fried raw spaghetti noodles (why???). 2 pieces of bacon. Tomatoes. A pile of uncooked spinach. Frozen biscuit (if it wasnt frozen, you need a new biscuit maker). Mashed potatoes from a bag. Orange slice. Cantaloupe slice. This was a terrible version. Stop. Leave the stupid rosemary off your dishes. It looks stupid and not everyone likes rosemary. I dont recommend this place. Go to Dennys or Waffle House.

I checked in when I arrived, and was told I could sit anywhere in the bar for faster service. I first sat in the show kitchen area, thinking that was a food bar. However, after not getting acknowledged, I moved to the main bar. My bartender (who goes by the letter H) greeted me and told me the tequila fix (13 dollars) was a good drink. Indeed it was with an ample amount of tequila, watermelon, and lime. It was quite refreshing and sweet. I took the popular pork chop dish (24 dollars), which was a big chop glazed in brown butter. It was pretty tender and flavorful with the glaze, and the romesco sauce made the flavors even better. It did get a bit gamey at the end, but I still enjoyed it. The vegetable was a generous amount of various colored carrots, which were thick and a bit crunchy. It had to be cut with a knife, but it was delicious, that the equestrian in me had a happy whinny. For dessert, the suggested cheesecake (9 dollars) was a winner as it was moist and fluffy, providing a sweet end. I saved some for home to enjoy the next day. My bartender was friendly and helpful. She was pretty busy, but still had a cheerful and engaging attitude. I also love the vibe as it was social and busy. The music kept the rhythm going, and the dining area is quite open and big. Outdoor dining is available as well. Sixty Vines reminds me of Cooper Hawks, but maybe a bit more upscale and lively. The food and drinks are great and the prices are pretty reasonable. It's a great place to hang out with friends and have some food, wine, and other cocktails. Overall: A
