I love Biggby! They are so much better than Starbucks because they give you a free birthday drink of your choice while Starbucks now makes you spend a little to get a "free" birthday drink. The Brown Bear Latte is one of my new favorites after my mom introduced me to it. The employee was on top of everything and asked me about milk choice (I completely forgot about specifying that when I am lactose intolerant so I appreciated them a lot)!! They even thought to ask me if I wanted the whipped cream on top since I did not want 2% milk. Very detailed and greatly appreciated!! read more

Could the staff here be any nicer?! No, no they could not! The barista cheerfully greeted me and reminded me that it's Wednesday, which means $3 lattes all day. Well, that's exactly whyu was there! So we chatted a bit as she made my latte perfectly--no foam, not hot. Then I watched her warmly greet the next guests who were happy to see her because she always provides such personalized service. We are visiting from out of town. This place is close to our hotel. I send my husband to get our orders. Twice now he has come back with them making my drink incorrectly. The first day I'm confident they gave me the completely wrong drink and it was not good, to the point that after a few sips I threw it out. The second day they put whip on my drink even though we asked for none and I still don't think they made me the drink we ordered. I had it at another Biggby a few days ago and it looked nothing like this drink. Pass on this place unless you like coffee roulette. read more

Today I went in and the barista making drinks was chewing gum with her mouth open while making drinks. She tried talking to me and all I could focus on was the gum in her mouth. She was barking orders to the other employee on the register. I would never return to this location. There is a reason the health department does not allow People to chew gum while preparing food. UPDATE! After waiting over 15 minutes for a bragel I asked for a refund. The barista chewing gum argued with me that I didn't need a refund as so she was going to start making it. When I said no I am now running late I would like a refund she sighed then rolled her eyes. Then she proceeded to slam the cash register door. This bigby is a hot mess. They are always out of stuff, it always needs to be vacuumed and my god I doubt the carpets have ever been cleaned. They are so filthy. This place is seriously gross. read more

Came in to use the restroom and buy a coffee. Honestly after seeing the state of the bathroom, I would never buy anything from here. Fowl is the word. Rings around the toilet bowl from lack of cleaning and a sharp smell of urine. That's just pure laziness. Laziness over weeks. Clean your toilets. read more

Recently have been traveling a lot which led me to start going to Biggby for a couple of reasons. Anyways, I decided to stop by this location yesterday. First, when we walk in, the one employee doesn't say a thing. I'm the one who said hello, when he finally mosied his way to the register. He barely said a thing the whole time. Asked for a bragel at about six and he told me that he is done making sandwiches... I didn't really mind, but then I started thinking... I've definitely got bragels from other locations past this time. Whatever. I'll eat something else right? This is the kicker for me. Near the end of making our drinks he gets a call on Snapchat (obviously not important) and stops making them to go answer his phone. He comes back talking through his headphones and goes to blend our drinks, the whole time he's doing this he's asking the person on the phone if they can hear them... no.. obviously they cannot due to the fact that you're currently using a blender sir. Why would you answer the phone in the middle of making two drinks. Why would you answer the phone right before using the blender... why can't you make me a bragel at six.. you have one food item on the menu that you have to prep and you can't even make it til you close? I don't know, this place really upset me. And I promise you I'm not just a ruthless Karen. I probably won't ever be back unless it's direly convenient. (To this location that is. I had absolutely great service at this Biggby location! Clean surfaces, friendly staff. Cold brew was great, and my friend liked her latte.

Pretty new location. Almost like a secret spot. Very good customer service. Wifi is free and pretty fast. Seating is very limited. Not good for large groups. Dog park across the street so great view for dog lovers. If you are in a hurry during rush hour probably not a good idea to stop by this location due to terrible traffic. Because the building itself it pretty new not a lot of people know about the existence but it seems like it's getting better. Parking lot is a decent size but can get pretty packed. Also there is a public park next to the coffee with kids play ground so it's an awesome location for multipurpose! If you are unsure of what you want or want to try something new definitely ask the staff and they will help you out! Very friendly and open staff!!! Love it! Definitely one of my favorite location to do work and meet up with friends. A lot of my friends started coming to this location as well once I told them where it was. read more

This place is really expensive. I got a large iced coffee, with a shot of expresso and it was $8. It tasted really good, but not $8 good.

I love the BIGGBY coffee off washtenaw near EMU. This BIGGBY however has rude people working there that feel that it's there mission to not be nice and correct you if you accidentally call the drinks by small, medium, large, grande etc. Today was another day of annoyance, as they were out of soy but didn't tell me until they had already rang me up and made me wait 5-10 minutes. The guy gave me choices of other milk options and I didn't feel like I had a choice to get my money back. Now I have a glorified coffee shaped rock since it tastes awful and isn't what I paid $5 for. I will be driving out of my way to avoid going to this BIGGBY.. read more

This is one of my favorite places to get coffee. The baristas are always friendly and make sure your drink is crafted the way you want it. I've had issues at other coffee shops where they don't give you your whole money's worth on coffee - not here. I always ask to have it filled to the top and they are very accommodating. They also always give suggestions if you're having a hard time picking out a drink and if you don't like it, they fine one you will! Very friendly!! What I also like is that is a quiet place for me to study and ALWAYS clean. read more
