You see how dry this is!!!! I couldn't eat anything on my plate. The only thing that saved this establishment was that they did not charge me for it after I bought it to their attention. My partner got the salmon which was really good, but also dry. The asparagus was really nice.

Biggio's at the Marriott Marquis Houston is a sports bar on steroids!!! Named after Astros legend Craig Biggio, the restaurant fully embraces Houston sports culture, with memorabilia, massive screens, and an atmosphere buzzing with excitement. From the moment you walk in, the energy is contagious. Crowds gather around towering floor-to-ceiling screens while conversations, cheers, and game-day excitement fill the air. During our visit, a FIFA match between the Netherlands and Switzerland was on. We honestly could not imagine a better place to watch it. These screens are so enormous that even a casual sports fan like me found myself completely engaged. The space itself is impressive. The two-level venue is massive, with a central bar downstairs surrounded by seating and screens seemingly everywhere you look. Upstairs, accessible by either a steep staircase or the elevator (we happily chose the elevator), you'll find a smaller bar, roped-off VIP areas, and additional seating facing yet another gigantic screen. The scale of the entire operation is remarkable. After exploring both levels, we settled downstairs at the main bar to soak in the atmosphere. While my friends focused on the adult beverages, I focused on the food. The menu goes well beyond typical sports bar fare. Alongside burgers, wings, and nachos, there are brisket dishes and elevated comfort-food options. I ordered the salmon sandwich with fries, and it exceeded expectations. The salmon filet was generous, flavorful, and topped with shredded green and purple cabbage that added freshness and crunch. The fries were crispy with just the right amount of seasoning. Service was friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. Biggio's delivered a memorable experience: colossal screens, surprisingly good food, an energetic crowd, and, best of all, quality time spent catching up with friends.

Oh man. This is a place I'd want to love and has potential. I love the atmosphere and ambiance - perfect sports bar vibe, multiple big screens, and menu boasts a great selection that looks like more than bar food. So far so good with the concept. Unfortunately the wheels fall off with the execution. I ordered the pan seared salmon with rice and asparagus. They overdid it with the salt. I mean, to the point where you could take a bite and almost crunch the grains in your mouth (see pic). The fish was fresh and juicy and cooked perfectly, but the coating of salt on top just ruined it. Tone it down next time, and this could easily be four or even five stars. (The service was great; she was fast and pleasant so no points off for that.)

So i saw the reviews and looked and it has the makings of a great place. Boy I was wrong. WAAAAAYYYY overpriced for what you get. I had a $28 salad that I could have gotten from Saladtogo for 8. Beer was super overpriced. OH, the best....there was a live mouse running though the dinning room. PEOPLE, there is a reason they don't have prices on the menu.

This is our go-to post or pre- events downtown. We have gone on game days, but honestly, it's a good hang for just winding down the night or watching whatever sport event is on TV. I love the nachos and the chicken strips. It's your standard Marriott in-house restaurant quality, but not too shabby. Service is nice. As long as it isn't a major game day, you can get a table relatively quickly.

The image may not be the best, but let me tell you these were the best chicken fingers I've ever eaten! Served with 4 pieces, these things were plump and juicy. The actually flavor within the chicken was on point and the seasoning in the crispy batter was even better. Every bite was perfection! Some chicken tenders... the batter falls off when you cut into it... not these! The dipping sauce was a cross between bbq and a chipotle cream type of sauce. Also delicious!

    THE HEATER - Signature Cocktail

THE HEATER - Signature Cocktail This drink is unexpected in the best way. The Heater is bold, slightly sour, and carries just the right kick of spice to keep things interesting. It's one of those cocktails that makes you pause after the first sip -- different, but uniquely delicious. If you're in the area and feeling adventurous, ask Jessie to whip this up for you. The balance of flavors is impressive, and trust me... you won't regret stepping outside your usual order for this one.

The tacos and Moscow Mule was a great combination.

Good timing of the food and drinks. Temperature and food portion was worth it. Ambience was relaxing.

It's connected to the downtown Marriott hotel and has an entrance inside the lobby. Exits go back to the hotel or to the streets. Place was big and clean, offered many seating options (upstairs, downstairs, bar, or tables), and had both TVs and projector screens with multiple sports playing. Menu is a bit pricey and don't even show numbers on it so that's how you know...

Service and atmosphere is on point. Food however not so much unfortunately. My tacos are ok, but not the best. I heard the Caesar salad was very good. It looks pretty. Got an old fashioned paid $19 for but had better for cheaper. Unfortunately not a place I would rush back to.

First off, order the pretzel . It is one of the best I have ever had. Service at the bar is excellent.

    Triple Sampler
    Vickie P.

Food was mediocre, service was a lot to be desired and the ambiance was families but not full. With that being said, let me say the Texas Twinkies were the best part of the sampler platter. The tenders were over cooked & tough and the chips that came with the queso portion were very stale for a grand total of $35. I had high hopes for this experience and it just didn't make the cut for us.

The poke nachos were super delicious, crunchy, fresh and full of flavor! FERNANDO was such an amazing bartender, we've seen him a few times post Astros games but he was super attentive and friendly!! The restaurant itself is so cool with all the baseball details, huge tv screens and Astros' memorabilia. Definitely a great place to visit anytime of year!

There's no bad seat in the house. If you're coming here for any kind of championship sports event, come early and get your seat cause it gets packed. You also avoid waiting in line for ID check. We got there 2-3 hours early, ordered drinks and ordered food from the food trucks. The taco truck's street tacos were so good, but it was a 40-45 minute wait that day...and it was SO HOT out. You get a buzzer, so there's no point in waiting by the truck. Might be quicker on other regular days, though. The burger food truck was quicker, but I wasn't in the mood for it. There's a variety of seating for whatever you prefer - picnic table, iron table, bar table, and cushioned patio lounge chairs. The servers checked in often and brought the drinks out. There's a free water station with cups. Restrooms are down one end. Ironically, on the game day, the women's restroom line moved quicker than the men's! Lol. Great place to hang out and catch a game!

Despite being quite empty at that time, we had to be on a waitlist system for about 20 min. Maybe people signed up for that time slot, unclear ? The tables do move. We were originally assigned right under the TVs, which defeated our purpose of watching the game. We moved our table back, enough to not pinch our neck. It's a great location for game watching. TVs are set all throughout the bar. Bonus if there are two or more sport events. That evening, we could watch a WC game and a UFC fight at the same time. What surprised me was the quality of the food. The wings were excellent, the burger came out quickly as well. The fries could be crispier. The tots were good. Wish they offered sweet potato fries. Overall pricing is a bit on the higher side. So watch your alcohol consumption, lol! Now, it is downtown so parking isn't the best. Use a rideshare. I can be convinced to go back for their wings. I had a salmon Caesar, which was fine, but $31 plus a hidden 4% service charge for not a lot of lettuce, dressing, and four croutons. An app (chips and bland dip, skimped on the chips) and two entrees, a 16 oz beer and two mixed drinks was $145 with tax and tip. Agonizing to pay that much for a mid experience, especially with the other costs in time and money. Guaranteeing seats for the game without showing up ages in advance cost $40/seat and we didn't get the advertised VIP World Cup goody-bag package we were promised. Worst part of the night was getting out. 45 minutes stuck in the $10 Greenstreet parking garage because the scanners weren't working, but it's that or $40 of Ubers. So ~$250 for a less-than-mid evening that wasn't especially relaxing.
