Brought my bike in for a tune up, new tires and a new chain. I then leave the bike shop and not even 20 feet down the road, I have terrible chain slippage. They replaced it on the spot and then said apologized for not test riding my bike before giving it back to me. of course they charged me for the new cassette they replaced on there and made a joke about how my credit card company will be like "wtf". The best part about all of this, my bike is somehow in shittier condition than before I brought it in for a tune up. Terrible knocking noise coming from who knows where (I don't fix bikes). I assume this is due to the fact that they didn't even test ride my bike afterwards. listen, I get its the busy season... but you own a bike shop to be in the customer service industry, and there was a lack of customer service that day.

She told me she had to confirm availability for the next week and she would have to get back to me. Left my name and phone number and patiently awaited her return call. Nada. Following Monday I got in touch with a competitor via Thumbtack by leaving a message through their service. Got a text response within 2 hours from Tom saying he was on a job and he would call me soon. He called me within an hour after that message. He was able to come out that Wednesday. Showed up on time, did his diagnostic exam, and actually called the manufacturer (Lifespan) for assistance when he couldn't determine the exact cause of the problem, an act that impressed me because he went the extra mile in trying to determine the problem. Ordered a new belt (told me it would be 5-10 business, it arrived the following Monday) and he installed it on Tuesday. Treadmill worked like a champ. Got clear explanations from him every step of the way and his communication was excellent. Unlike Synergy....
