This place is THE best Jamaican food I've EVER had and I've had a lot from Philly through NC alll the way to Texas. It's authentic, hot, fresh, a clean establishment and the customer service is great! I usually say if the Jamaicans aren't rude the food bout to be nasty but this was NOT the case at all here. Absolutely outstanding!!! I saw that they were brand new and wanted to try the food, so on Friday I took my boyfriend to get lunch from there. We went in with a low bar and boy were we wrong. Wow. This spot is just fantastic. We ate the Curry Goat and Oxtails with traditional Jamaican rice and peas, the veg, and plantains. Some of the best Jamaican food I've had. Restaurant people were friendly, portions were good, and nice simple atmosphere. We loved it so much we ordered more to got just so we could have it again later. I've had three dishes here which were all amazing including the oxtail plate, jerk chicken plate, and curry goat plate. Deliciously seasoned meat with delightfully light-tasting rice and peas. So, this place has become one of my main food groups. I've got food from here at least once or twice a week since I started eating here and I also suggest it to all my friends. What really got me to order was seeing ackee and saltfish on the menu. I'd never had ackee and saltfish, but just based on descriptions and watching videos of people make it, I knew that I would like it. I have no gauge for authenticity, but it tasted AWESOME. From there I've had the brown stew chicken which has good flavor and the meat peels off the bone easily. The rice and peas are great. I like eating it by itself, but it's great with the ackee and saltfish. I could munch on the fresh vegetables all day and my toddler eats these vegetables. The festival taste like churros without being rolled in sugar - not complaining. I don't think the potato salad is anything amazing, but it is good and edible, just don't expect anything exotic from it. All in all, this is my default to-go place. read more

Today (July 20th) had the opportunity to have lunch at Bikkle's. We never had Jamacia style cuisine before. I had the chicken jerk and my husband had the combo of chicken jerk and oxtail. We both had red beans and rice with an egg roll appetizer. My rice had oxtail gravy to go on top. Lunch arrived at the table. The portions were plentyful and quite tasty.
