Lived near this restaurant for a few years and I've been going since it first came to Bethel. The selection of sandwiches here are fantastic. Try not to get stuck on one sandwich... you need to try them all! I recommend getting, "The Usual". Comes with bacon, chicken, cheddar cheese and a mayo that is out of this world great. My Co-workers would order from here all the time and everything always looks and smells so good. One day I finally ordered something for myself and it was just as good as I thought it would be! For a great Lunch or Dinner, I highly recommend Biksbees. The Burgers are very fresh and full of flavor. The Wings can be quite HOT, but just as delicious. And there are endless salad, soup, and sandwich opportunities, galore. A daily special menu will fill in anything you might be missing. There is both interior booth seating, as well as exterior tables during the warmer months. Parking is plentiful. Biksbees is truly terrific! The staff are incredibly friendly, they remember your name and who you are, and always greet you with a smile. Their burgers and fires are out of this world! By far some of the best I've ever had in Bethel. Their salads and deserts are not on par with their burgers, but who cares? With burgers like that, you won't care about the other food that they're serving. And this is coming from a guy who rarely eats burgers, and almost always choses the healthiest meal on the menu. Great food. Wonderful waitstaff, I everything I have ever ordered is good here. My favorite is the baby spinach salad. Only complaint is no wifi, but the tables have plugs to charge your phone if the power goes out. My favorite entree is the lemon chicken it's very good! read more

The new reuben sandwich is very good but can be a bit sloppy to eat since its stuffed to overflowing. Get extra napkins! The pot pie is excellent but is not an actual PIE. you get the beef or chicken and vegetable filling and gravy with a puff pastry top. I'm small, so I usually end up eating half as dinner and then adding the roasted vegetable side it comes with to the gravy and having rest for lunch next day. The pick two special with a half sandwich or half salad or soup is a good option for lunch or dinner. They make a good clam chowder. read more

My first time here and great experience. I ordered the soup and 1/2 sandwich. French onion soup is fresh and amazing. I taste red wine and other amazing flavors. My 1/2 sandwich was the filet mignon add $1 to the $8.50 special. The sandwich was very tasty and much better than I expected. Service was great, staff is friendly and I cannot say they could have done a better job. I will be back to try their Mexican dishes. If you're in a 10-15 min drive try this place because there aren't many decent places around. One reviewer stated this is like Panera and this is sooo much better than panera bread. read more

The best sandwich shop I have been to in the Danbury area. Choices include sandwiches, panini sandwiches, salads, soups, pizza (great slices!), and pastries. I've tried something different every time, and have never been disappointed. The only drawback is that many of the paninis (but not the rest of the sandwiches) are pre-made, so you can't omit ingredients or change the bread choice. However, there are so many choices that this really hasn't been an issue! read more

We haven't had a good meal here. I've tried almost every soup, I can't imagine they're made fresh there. The sandwiches are eh. Not terrible but not good. The wraps are probably the best item on their menu if I had to choose. I don't get this place. On two different occasions, it has become clear that their sandwiches and paninis are not freshly made. I have asked to leave off spinach on one, to not add cheese to another, or to change the bread. All three times, they have said that's not possible. Like the food but bad "menu" experience left a poor taste in my mouth. The menu has a special "pick any two 1/2 sandwich, 1/2 wrap etc". First sandwich I was told "oh not that one" ok fine no big deal. Then the price on the menu was not honored because "we usually don't do a half sandwich & half a wrap" well then take it off your menu. A little frustrated & probably won't eat there again. I've been loving biksbees lately! My salads and sandwiches are always delish! The festivo salad is my favorite, I'm also a big fan of the cashew chicken wrap. I also love the "pick two" option, that way I can get a half size sandwich or soup with my salad when the mood strikes. Definitely recommend for a quick and easy lunch option. Very good soups, especially the french onion and italian wedding. Good sandwiches, such as the san remo and turkey wrap. The salads are ok, pastries are also ok. The staff is very attentive. friendly and helpful. Biksbees continue to churn out a good crowd. For me, I like to order lunch here once a week, usually to go. Others, may linger for lunch, and others may come here for dinner. The dinner options include entrees such as chicken francese, fried shrimp, among other options. Biksbees was a welcome addition to the Bethel dining scene when they first opened and I would suspect that they continue on for quite some time. read more

I am definitely a fan of biksbees. My company orders a lot from them. I have to say some of their sandwiches are great, while others are fair. More often than not I have to say they lean towards the side of great vs. fair. First time ordered the burger, which I did like but after having the soup it's kind of hard to order other things. I tried the Taryiaki Chicken wrap which I was not a big fan of. Now I order pick 2 with a sandwich (and soup of course). A little expensive but not totally outrageous either. 4/5 read more

We are visiting relatives in town and this was a recommendation from my niece. It is our first time stopping in and we loved it. Everything is made in house, and is super fresh. Inconsistent and not a good value. After several visits, I stopped going to Bikesbees. The sandwiches and panini choices would rate 2 stars on their own. However, and sandwich made with bastone bread will eventually disappoint you, especially if its takeout. As the bread is sliced further from center, it gets smaller ... and so do the sandwiches. My last takeout sandwich was about 40% smaller than normal. At least the pickle was consistent at 1/16th of a slice. Prior to this experience, I had noticed some of the sandwiches varying in size, but this one put them over the top. So you start with an ok 2 star sandwich that is on the small size already for the price, then have deal with the variable of how they slice the bread. There are many better choices. Until Biksbees puts quality and consistency above their own cost cutting efforts, I recommend you avoid them. read more

I recommend their burgers, they cook them perfectly every time. They are juicy, large and so flavorful. I like to get their sweet potato fries because they are nicely crisp on the outside and still warm and soft on the inside, honestly the best fries I have ever had. Another plus is the fact that the staff is super friendly and kind. Take one of their desserts on the go, my boyfriend loved their rugala and I really liked their chocolate macaroons. Had lunch here today, wife and I really enjoyed it. Best BLT she has had in a long time and I liked my turkey sand with B, L, T and sun-dried tomato mayo. Yes both came with small bag of chips but we actually appreciated that over places who load the plate with unhealthy chips or fries. Bread and ingredients were fresh, staff was great, restaurant and restrooms were very clean and we thought the prices were reasonable for fresh food in a small place in that location. Felt like a cross between a family restaurant and a Panera Bread. We will definitely go back. read more
