We dined here once and have not, and will not, be returning anytime soon. We had to have waited at least an hour before they took our order, then waited even longer for them to bring us our food. Not to mention, we were on the verge of dying from dehydration because they failed to bring us anything to drink. And then, of course, they screwed up our order. The food was also delivered to us cold. Gross. It was overcrowded, understaffed and annoying. The food is bland and we got ours served to us cold, which would imply that our order had been sitting around somewhere for awhile. Don't waste your time or your money here. read more

Nice little restaurant; open daily from 7am to 2pm. Went for breakfast on Valentine's day and the place was fairly busy. It's. Medium sized establishment with ample parking. Customer service was fantastic, and while it was my first time there, I don't think my BF can be considered a regular either. They were running a special for the first 50 customers: free dessert of fried apples. BF had a skillet which he enjoyed and I had the heuvos rancheros; both meals were tasty, just the right size, and price was reasonable. BF had coffee and his cup never went less than half full; I had hot tea and waitress was very attentive in asking if I needed more hot water for my tea pot. The fried apple dessert was delicious. Also for Valentine's day, we got s small heart shaped box of chocolates when BF paid for the meal. Ya know, I've lived in Brighton for 14 years now, and eaten here at least 1000 times, and it never occurred to me to Yelp the place. We used to be "regulars", but frequency has fallen way off in recent years. We had breakfast here this morning while we waited for some new tires to be put on my van next door. We got there pretty early, so we avoided the usual Saturday morning crush. I think the waitress was one of the family who owns the place now, and she was right on it, I mean, RIGHT ON IT. I had to check the GPS to make sure I was still in Brighton. Food was typical Billie's, serviceable, and plenty of it. If you've eaten here 1000's of times, you get to know what to order in here. I don't like the way they do their omelets, so it's usually just over-easy's with some breakfast meat, which today was the pork tenderloin, about the size of a hubcap, and smothered in country gravy. The wait on weekends is ridiculous, so this is an every-once-in-awhile deal for us. read more

I don't write many reviews but I had to in this case. It seems the negative reviews are based on incorrect expectations. This isn't a gourmet awesome experience type place that costs crazy $$ for over the top food. This is an honest diner with great standard breakfast at an honest price. It's a place to go for eggs, meat, potato and coffee. They have a lot of items on the menu but not too many. There was a very long line out the door this morning (saturday) but my wait wasn't all that long at all. I had Steak and eggs (I didn't see it on the menu but asked) . It was great! It was diner steak. Good tender and cooked perfectly. Over easy eggs were perfect as well. Hash Browns were prepared properly and were good. Even though they were crazy busy the waitress was kind and took great care of me. I'm new here. Just moved to CO and Brighton 2 weeks ago so I'm not a "loyal local" . Not bad, not great! Yes, I would come back. But, I think other Yelpers overvalued this place. The breakfast was average. Good, but average. Same with the service. Coffee was good. I wish the eggs and hash browns were better, but they were average. For breakfast, I would probably run to Jack in the Box or Burger King. It's cheaper and tastes better. I have the special of which was steak and eggs we also had the eggs benedict which were both good hash browns were little smushy but still good steak not that much flavor but still delicious the service was good. I would definitely come here again atmosphere not bad at all. Our food took Maybe 15 minutes which isn't that bad. Surprisingly our to-go order did take forever. Girls mistaken it was a little pricey 1199 but it was a full plate and I had a to-go box so it wasn't that bad. read more

After a long drive through the night to get to Denver, breakfast food was what we were all hankering for once we got there. Yelp helped us find Billie's and it was a good choice. They pretty much have everything you can think of in terms of breakfast food. I opted for the fried chicken breakfast. Definitely not the healthiest choice, but how often do I get the option of fried chicken for breakfast? Mine was good although the gravy was a little much for me.. The other people in my group ordered a variety of things and they all liked them. It did take awhile for our group to get a table. But I think that's to be expected on a Saturday morning at 8. I got seated right away as it was around 8:00 and the restaurant wasn't very busy. The service was speedy and the food was good, I was just a little surprised at the price. First time I had the opportunity to dine here. We had to wait for quite some time for a table; not surprising considering we planned poorly showing up at 10:30am on a Sunday with a party of 6 that turned into a party of 8 (we were "those" people). The entrance to the restaurant is a bit stuffy as folks wait just in front of the host stand and the restaurant was packed this particular morning. Also, I'm not sure but it didn't feel as though the building was air conditioned as we were all a little warm. I think we waited for about half an hour to be seated and the staff accommodated our two person expansion as graciously as I think they could have. I ordered the Spanish Omelette which was amply sized and stuffed with chorizo, green chiles, and copious amounts of cheese. So. Delicious! I also ordered a side of bacon (a perfectly cooked pile of 4 pieces of salty heaven). I was impressed with the size of the side of bacon and the cut quality was fantastic. Unfortunately I've cut out grains and limited carbohydrates as they have a cinnamon roll french toast menu item as well as we cinnamon roll sandwich that I'm pretty confident would be to die for. Overall, the service was attentive and accommodating. Aside from the toasty atmosphere, I was utterly impressed. I hope to be back. And soon! read more

Billies is awesome - great food fast. The wait staff can be surly at times (with one another - not customers) which you'd never pick up on if you didn't sit by the pass. Get here before 8:30 - 9am on the weekend to avoid long waits but it can often have a solid wait by then. Sunday church crowd will own this joint after they let out and you'll wait! But it's worth it for the amazing food. Oh and don't linger too long after you get done eating - we're out here waiting!! read more

Out of this world, made from scratch with love type of breakfast. Hands down one of the best chicken fried steak/chicken & pork tenderloin out there. The green chili is just amazing with almost every dish they serve. I love mom & pop businesses. The staff are always friendly here. The tables and salt and pepper shakers and condiments could definitely use a better cleaning. The food is always pretty good. The price is very reasonable. The place is comfortable, but has not been updated for quite some time. on this visit, the bathroom was a disaster. We tried out Billies for the 1st time, on Saturday morning, around 8am... they weren't all that busy, we were seated in booth 19. A few minutes later the waitress came by and asked what we wanted to drink.. we said 2 coffees and 2 waters...it literally took almost 15 minutes for her to come back and say, let me take your order, I got too busy doing something else to get your drinks.. UMM WHAAAT? She came back with drinks, finally... and then shortly after that, the food came out. We are so dissatisfied that it's a joke. We checked in for Mothers Day and people that came in after us kept getting seated before us. They are so disorganized. After the 5th party got seated before us, I went up to the owner and brought it to her attention and she completely disregarded us. She was the one seating people that walked in. It seemed like if you're not family or a friend you become second priority. Even though there's not much for dining options in Brighton, we will NEVER return here again. My first stop here. It was very crowded for 9:00am on a Wednesday. I guess that's mainly due to the scarcity of non-franchise places in Brighton that are open for breakfast. There was no line, but I had to wait a few minutes while they cleared and cleaned a table for me. No problem. They acknowledged me immediately, and were apologetic about the very short wait. My coffee was served immediately, and my cup stayed full. It was very good. My order was taken quickly, and I was served within ten minutes. My server left the check so I didn't have to wait when I was ready to leave. Can't imagine why other reviewers are critical of the service. On to the food. Country omelet with sausage, cheese, and cream gravy with a side of home fries and white toast. Nobody does breakfast better than me, and I couldn't have done it any better. Very tasty. The portions were generous but not overwhelming. I usually have to leave about half of what I'm served on the plate, but this time I was able to finish most of it. The bill was $10.00 and change. I was looking for a place nearby Reunion that a) wasn't a chain b) served a little more than the normal breakfasts fanfare and c) wouldn't require me to bring War & Peace to read while I waited for a table. I recall reading another user's high rating when perusing Yelp for another recommendation and though we'd give it a try. The wait was standard. The coffee was decent but the food... OMG! I had the stuffed French Toast and my hubby the Hungry Man Breakfasts Burrito. Dy-no-mite!!! Their food is actually fairly good but their service could benefit from better management practices. Mainly the owner/greeter who has no clue about what proper customer service is. Best biscuits and gravy ever!! You can tell the gravy us homemade and not from a jar, which I hate. My husband had the chorizo and eggs and said it was awesome as well. We have been here a few times since moving to Brighton and have not had a bad meal yet. read more
